The Star On The Hill - Llansoy - Photo album

The Star on the Hill is a bit tucked away in the countryside. The Food was fantastic, the drinks are reasonably priced. The service delivered as expected and the owners are very friendly. The decor, whilst still undergoing some updating, is really nice. Would definitely come back if in the area.
My family went for lunch on a quiet Thursday in June. Their customer service was spectacular. They were attentive and made great recommendations for ale and desserts. I had a local ale called Butty Bach that was delicious and refreshing. They have children food options, which were good for my 2 pick
The food was delicious, service and staff were just lovely. The log fire was gorgeous. The whole place was beautifully clean. Only downside was the incredibly bright lighting which made you able to count the wrinkles on your fellow diners faces and should you need to you would have been able to comp

The staff were incredibly flexible and accommodated our large group. Everyone was delighted with their meals but the roasts seemed the most popular. Deserts were the highlight for me. Great selection of alcohol free beers and cider. Gorgeous location. Would love to come back in Winter and sit in fro
Just a great pub and restaurant in the Wales countryside. Big space that has a historic feel but a very cozy vibe. Super friendly and nice service as well. Food is top tier for the area as well.
The food here is brilliant! Really enjoyed it. Vegan options available which is fab. The pub has a lovely cozy atmosphere, the staff were all friendly and attentive. We had the soup start which was spiced butternut squash and it was very tasty, just the right amount of spice. For mains I had the pa
