Had a lovely mocha from here and keen to sample the cake next time. Absolutely brilliant service with the drink being kindly brought up the stairs for me and the lady allowing me to stay past closing time to finish something off on my laptop. Thank you so much, really cosy and welcoming place.

Stopped by LLantwit Major and needed to kill some time so I popped into the Cafe Velo and ordered tea and crumpets with strawberry jam. Friendly service and excellent clean presentation.
If you are in Wales and want a really good coffee get down to Cafe Velo in Llantwit. Consistently great coffee and cake. Try the Bara Brith ( Welsh fruit cake ). Sensational! The owners and staff are really nice and always helpful.

David went hugely out of his way to help us out with a flat tyre, which in the end couldn’t be fixed and then actually offered to lend us his own bike so that we could still go out for a ride. On top of that the coffee is great and the flapjacks are delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by.

I called to Cafe Velo back in January when I was house hunting . I've now moved and searched out this lovely cafe again. Great coffee and cakes and warm and friendly. Top rate hospitality. Will bring my friends best time.

Great bike cafe about 25km from Cardiff. Beautiful to ride here. Complimentary cable locks to use while you have your coffee and cake.

Great place to stop if you're cycling through the Vale. Good selection of cakes and hot snacks and the tea and coffee are always welcome mid ride. Always something cycling related on the TV as well!
