Salty Dog Cafe - Lochgilphead - Photo album

A nice little spot to grab a coffee and a treat out of the wind. Coffee tastes good they had a great selection of treats, that we took a couple away with us for our boys. Had a very nice bacon sandwich in a soft roll.
Friendly staff. The selection of cakes and tray bakes is really good. I had the tea cake slice and it was amazing.
amazing little cafe, dogs allowed but we didn’t bring ours in, the food was on the pricey side but other than that, delicious! i had a square sausage and fried egg roll and it was a deliciously cooked egg and tasty sausage, on a fat roll. but, the star of the show, thr traybake, there was a good sel
We are very lucky to have the Salty Dog Cafe in Lochgilphead! Everything about the cafe is amazing, not one negative at all! The food, service, prices, staff, and atmosphere is top notch!
What a lovely little cafe, lovely staff, lovely coffee & delicious lite lunch 😋
Very busy little café with a good range of home cooked food. Given the limited other options in the area it's a 4/5 it is somewhat pricey and due how busy it is and the food being freshly made there is a wait to be served.
The foods and drinks served here are very tasty and delicious, staff are really helpful, service is very good, I recommend this cafe. The cakes at Salty Dog Cafe are the best. If you are in the town (within the area) and want a snack or feeling hungry, then this cafe is certainly the best choice.
Delicious breakfast! Lovely coffee. Friendly staff.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, they always take the time to talk with their customers. They serve great food and cakes. And the place is nice warm and makes you feel welcome. Very busy cafe now so best to book but still love it.
I enjoyed my lunch today 😋
Lovely coffee, great brownies.
On a wet miserable day, this cafe provuded a welcome break on our drive home from Oban.Parking outside, so easily accessible. Danish pastries to die for and excellent coffee. Well worth calling in.
Brilliant food, nice ambience, and all round good place. A bit pricy though.
Best custom pizza ever. Fresh scallops
Apart from the young man making a sarcastic comment when we entered, the rest of the experience was excellent. Great food. Very warm honest and efficient service. Good luck with your venture.
Great wee cafe, had lunch with bairn whilst visiting the area
Best cooked breakfast I had during a road trip through Scotland. Also the only Scottish breakfast I had! Most places just do a generic full English. Lovely staff, very accommodating. No doubt will visit again when passing by.
