Some of the best pies I have ever had. We have tried the venison and cranberry, pork and Apple, steak and ale, chicken and ham, and chicken curry and none of them disappoint. Very filling. The cakes aren't bad either, the banoffee meringue was a delight.

Absolutely great place. We enjoyed a take away, lunch and an evening meal....not all on the same day! The staff were excellent and all so polite and friendly. The Ham and Chicken pie was my granddaughters favorite, in fact I'm going to order some on line as a wee fun gift. The apple pie and custard was delicious and my husband said the Beef Porter was the best he had ever tasted. If you are on holiday near Lochinver this place is a must. Thank you

Very impressed with the wide range of choice on the menu, the quality of food, and the friendliness and efficiency of the waiting staff. Though not locals, we've dined there many times over the years and are happy to be back again tonight for our third meal this week! Highly recommended.

We had heard about this fine pie shop from the Tourist Information folks in Ullapool and it did not disappoint. Friendly and capable service, very clean, nice ambiance and, most especially, The Food Was Fabulous. Many thanks for a memorable Highland meal on our holiday from New Jersey, USA.

Awesome. Well worth the trip from Ullapool. We were not disappointed and the pie selection proved too much to choose from ...... almost. Lamb, and venison and cranberry pies we're sublime. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Unfortunately we had already had lunch when we saw some people walking past eating pies then it dawned on us about the pie shop! Nevertheless we headed along and bought 1 rhubarb and 2 apple pies and devoured them with a cuppa in our motorhone further north. These pies were THE BEST EVER!! Couldn't believe the weight of them - jammed packed with filling! Wish we'd bought some savoury ones to try too. If I'm ever in the area again will definitely pop in again!

This place is awesome! The staff is very friendly and quite attentive when it comes to food allergies. They will heat the pie to perfection, and it is served in a small cardboard box. The pastry melted in my mouth and the flavors of the filling were delectable. I stopped in only because I had read that this place was special, and I was certainly not disappointed. The entire experience was memorable. I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying a special treat. It is located in a charming village with a lovely view from the tables outside.

The Lochinver Larder provide (IMHO) the best pies I have ever tasted. The pastry is just delicious and the quality of the contents sets it apart from other pies. It can be very busy at peak times and I would recommend order in advance and collect your food at a specified time. The staff are very helpful and do the larder justice. Keep up the great work.

Fabulous! Probanly the best pies in the world! Plus friendly staff and excellent views. Definitely worth the trip. I had the cauliflower, broccoli and cheese pie, my husband had the savoury lamb pie. Both delicious We also got a couple of apple pies to take away with us just because we had to !

I've been visiting the North West of Scotland for the best part of two decades, and the Lochinver Larder is the same as it's ever been, in a good way. The pies taste great, are incredibly full and filling and there's lots of good flavours. What makes them most special is the journey to get here and the incredible setting. Do yourself a favour and order a hot pie to go and take it to Achmelvich beach up the road and sit and watch the sunset. There's no where else in the world you can get that experience

Amazing pies in all varieties. We came for lunch and had a fairly short wait time despite being quite busy. If you order a coffee you can enjoy it while waiting - and it was surprisingly good. They don’t allow eating inside but have 10 or so tables outside right next to the restaurant. If you visit Lochinver, also consider driving to the beaches up north through the small windy road - great scenery!

Such a delicious pie, and the view outside is fantastic. Only downside was the rather long waiting time, something that should be taken into consideration if you are in a rush.

Great pies. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I thought the pies were a bit pricey but after eating one and realizing how much filling is in a pie, I changed my mind. They tasted great. Will be back when we return to the area on our next holiday 😊

Well worth the visit on route to Achmelvich Bay. Tried a steak pie and the chicken to, shared between two of us of course. Can see why they were busy, the pies are so fine. The views not bad either.

Fabulous Pies and People but with a problem, they are only taking card payments pushing a woke agenda but are happy to accept cash tips, please this is mad, Take cash or loose it, you wont get any tips then. we need cash, what happens if your internet goes down ? free pies.

Wow. The pies look great just on their own let alone once you break inside. The filling is full, rich and delicious. The steak and ale pie was a favourite with proper ale flavors coming through. When the weather is nice and you can eat in their garden definitely get the full pie meal.

Such delicious pies. I had venison and cranberry and my son had chicken and ham. We sat outside on the provided tables and ate them with the wooden cutlery. Absolutely the most delicious pie ever. Cannot sing their praise enough. Sweet pies also , but we didn't try them. The tea, coffee and other drinks also available. Top place. We'll worth more than one visit. They also post them out via a website. Several of my Christmas present problems solved.

The best pies in Scotland! Huge range including haggis and black pudding. Sweet pies too. They also do other dishes BUT you should have the pies! Take out only but they have two great outdoor areas to eat in - both have good views!

Beautiful pies, piping hot, generously filled. I had venison and cranberry, my wife had cauliflower broccoli cheese. Both were delicious! Nice that the gravy is vegetarian (so we could share, there's plenty for 2 in one portion). We missed indoor seating, so headed to our van to eat.

We’ve been back in the US for over a month and cannot stop thinking about these pies. The chorizo pie was hands down the best thing we had on our entire trip. The savory lamb and gravy was incredible. We went once for dine in and came back on our way out of town to grab a couple for the road. The staff was wonderful and the food was life changing. I’ll be butchering my attempts at recreating this dish until we can make it back to have the real thing. Honestly, the hospitality in Scotland as a whole was unbelievable and this place was at the top for us. *side note: it’s weird to go a place that specializes in meat pies and give a poor google rating because they have meat on their menu. It’s like going to a butcher shop and complaining about the produce section.

We had heard that this is a pie shop like no other and we weren't disappointed. The range on offer is amazing with meat, veggie and sweet ones for sale. You can have them hot or cold and with a side of mash or mushy peas. They are pricey at £5.95 each but they are double the size and filled to the crust. 😋 Our family had three meat and a sweet one for lunch with no drinks so over £20 in total. It was raining so we couldn't enjoy the stunning views of the loch from the outside eating area with ten plus picnic tables available. For some strange reason their restaurant was 'closed for the season'. ☹️ Highly recommend stopping off for a pie or two and then a walk round the village or try the 'River Inver Loop' walk if you have a couple of hours. 😎

September 2023: The pies lived up to the reviews, recommendations and rumours! Amazing pies. At 6.99 far from the cheapest but you certainly get what you pay for and these were stunning. Thank you so much.
