Wonderful friendly service and brilliant food. Valerie knows all her regular customers which is always a sign of a great restaurant. I have eaten here three times. It is nearly impossible to get a table so book early. When we were first told that people booked a year in advance we were somewhat su
So good we visited twice in one week! Valerie and Reno are perfect hosts, the food is divine and the cost is unbelievable (in a good way) considering the exquisite fare served up; other "fine dining" establishments on the island should take note. I would have no hesitation in recommending.
This awesome restraunt was highly recommended by the campsite which is just next to this wonderful eating establishment. We were not disappointed, I personally feel that it should be renamed the Jewel of Arran. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was second to none.
A most unlikely place at the top of Arran in a small simple cottage. Serving hearty home style cooking in a traditional environment it certainly is a popular spot. BYOB so no booze on tap. Lots of local foods available and a very pleasant service. Food is good though doesn't quite hit the mark for a
Large portions, great location and the owners are so nice. food was a bit to busy but still good.
About 25mins very scenic drive from Brodick you find what looks to all like a quaint little tea shop. How wrong you will be, its not a tea shop and its not open during the day. Come evening magic happens and the most amazing food is created. It is well worth the visit not only for the amazing food b
Love it. Big hearty helpings of well-made local produce and the service is terrific. Always busy so booking is essential.
This is one of the best value restaurants on the island. A small but well decorated, has a large and varied menu which is great value for money. Be aware, booking is necessary as the resturant is very popular. We will be booking well in advance for our next visit. This is a must for a visit to Arra
Great food, atmosphere, and hosts. Best food I’ve had in a long time!
Nice friendly restaurant in Lochranza. Great food at reasonable prices. BYOB Full when we were there with a real buzz.
Just back from having a full three course meal. The food was excellent and was well thought out and freshly cooked. It was definately not your standard 'cookie cutter' fare everywhere else seems to serve. Definately my favourite place to eat on the island. We will be back, and have already pre booke
What a special place. We dined in on a wet and blustery night and the lovely welcome and superb food made it a night to remember. Plus you can take your own booze so no hearty mark up on supermarket plonk. If only we lived nearer
Really lovely place to eat. You do need to book, but it is so worth it.. The restaurant is small & has no licence, but we took a bottle of wine & there was no corkage charge. They cater for Vegetarians & the menu changes daily.. Really beautiful atmosphere & gorgeous food.. so worth a visit...
This is a lovely little restaurant full of quaint things to look at...gives it a cottage type feel. The outside dies not reflect the holiness within. The choice of menu is excellent and the food tastes wonderful. Considering how good it was I was shocked when I got the bill....it is VERY reasonably
Referred to as the best restaurant on Arran and can see why. Each dish was as great as the last. With a limited but fresh menu, it's still hard to choose your meal with the choices spoiling you for choice. Fully booked between June and August with locals revisiting and attracting tourists alike, wel
Lovely atmosphere at this very popular restaurant. It's important to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Delicious menu with a mix of Scottish and Italian cuisine. Good selection on menu with an additional specials board. Staff were friendly and welcoming. You do need to bring your own alc
Great wee place for an evening meal when in the north end of the island. Always book or be prepared to be disappointed! Very welcoming, strong COVID regulation adherence made us feel comfortable. Smoked mackerel and stuffed mushrooms as starters were a meal in themselves followed by slow cooked Arra
Absolutely amazing place. The food is some of the best I've ever had and the staff are all so friendly I feel like I'm just at a friend's house. If you have any dietary requirements whatsoever they are happy to cater and there is a full vegetarian/vegan menu, including most of the deserts. Oh and th
