Look no further, The food is the best Indian food we have tasted in a while. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Would highly recommend this place, and unlike other eating establishments nowadays, this one has good long opening hours. The place is simple, clean, and spacious. Great service and lovely staff. The naan breads have a lovely nutty flavour, beautifully cooked, the popadums are perfectly cooked too and not over done, like some places you go. I highly recommend the chicken pakkora starter. We had a perfect meal, good portion sizes and quality food, a perfect evening out, getting out of the house to fully make the most of a restaurant experience. Good value for money, too. Parking a very short stroll away, and free after 6pm. It's not much more than having a takeaway, so go on, book your table now. Get the date night experience!

Had a take away tonight on our boating holiday and The Raj did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was great and the staff super friendly! Would 100% recommend and would definitely eat here more often if we lived in the area!

Raj delivered us a delicious meal in the pouring rain which we were very grateful for.

We visited family in rural Norfolk and weren’t expecting much from the limited takeaway options available. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food; it was arguably better than our regular at home! Big chunks of lamb and chicken in the curries, excellent flavours, generous onion bhaji starter portions. We’d happily order again.

Excellent food. Really good flavours and spice unlike some of the others in Norfolk. Service was also great! Will be returning

Unfortunately the Raj is not local to where I live. Had a takeaway while on a boating hol, easily the best I have ever had, and I have had quite a few. Taste, quality, and price first class.

Living outside of Loddon it’s always good to get to The Raj. This is definitely one of the best Indians in the area. It’s a good restaurant food, service and value for money.

The food from the Raj always tastes fresh and is really satisfying. Portions are generous and takeaway (not "take-out") meals can last for two days. Generally, if you ask for a hot dish, you will get a hot dish, something of a rarity these days. I was disappointed only once, when my prawn vindaloo featured a lake of very smooth sauce with a very few prawns swimming in it, but that was the exception which proved the rule.

I hadn't been here for years as it used to be very poor but having heard the current management were much better I went back recently. It is much the same inside, not very busy, clean and tidy. The food was absolutely excellent, we both said it was the best Indian we'd had for years. The service was also good and prices fair. I've since been back for a takeaway and that was also really good so I highly recommend giving this place another try.
