Saravanaa Bhavan - London - Photo album

šŸ’ÆDOSAšŸ’Æ what more do you want? Super popular vegetarian Indian restaurant chain, serving predominantly southern Indian cuisine but with many northern Indian and Indochinese options, it's a pan-Indian affair. The food here is just as good as the famous East Ham branch, but the service here is kinda s
The place is very good. It will be mostly always crowded. Make sure you are ready to wait if you are planning for dinner if not pre booking is must (not sure if available). It's a veg only restaurant so it's paradise for vegetarians. The food is super awesome tasty and yummy. Tried all mostly South
Itā€™s a very popular South Indian restaurant with multiple outlets across London and nearby. Itā€™s well located very close to Leicester Square station and is so popular that usually there is a waiting and they usually donā€™t take reservations but itā€™s worth the wait. All the South Indian dishes are wel
As authentic as it can get in UK :) 4 of us walked in for lunch on a Monday, had to wait for around 10-15min to get seated. It was worth the visit and a short wait after roaming around London with elderly parents. Ordered set dosa, medhu vada, business Thali, chilli babycorn dry, veg fried rice. All
The food here is highly authentic , if youā€™re craving South Indian food look no further. Theyā€™ve got great variety to choose from and it takes you straight to india šŸ˜ We had the dosa and fries Idli it was delish.
The food was nice, but I didn't understand the dishes and think I didn't make the best choice. It would be nice if there were better explanations in the menu. They have vegan options
We had some really good Indian food while our trip to london. Prices are bit on a higher side for students but worth trying the food, staff is super polite and warm. If one is living in the UK and is craving for Indian food a must visit placeā€¦
Typical Sarvana Bhavan. As usual authentic South Indian food. Slightly on the pricier side but that's mostly due to location. Toilets could have been more clean and presentable. Also had a glimpse at the kitchen (it was next to the toilet), and it didn't feel very hygienic but that's just my opinion
Do believe me when I say it's better than most of the Saravana Bhavans in India. All the classics were great and not overpriced at all, unlike many Indian restaurants in London.
Why does a simple idly, Sambar and chutney hit you so different when you are feeling under the weather? My troubled stomach found so much comfort in their idly and red chutney which they gladly gave me extra of. Not general a huge fan of their service but this branch was quite fine when I visited. :
Had amazing dosa after a long time. The chutney is on demand and there are 3 types of chutney served Coconut white Coconut with mint and coriander Tomato based The sambar was really Good. I can safely say that the quality is well maintained unlike MTR which was rather disappointing.
An ideal place if you wish to eat South Indian food. Ghee Masala and Ghee Roast are an immediate recommendation. I was quite excited to eat some Indo Chinese items they had on their menu, but wasnā€™t quite upto the mark. Gol gappa too was a bit too salty, although I understand that its not the place
