The Tasting Room

Well done Tasting Room! We came to check you out and YUM! What a dinner experience you gave us! Our family of 4 enjoyed 4 apps and 4 mains and everything was so fricking good we almost licked the plate! The crab cakes were delicious, the pork with spaetzle is a must try, the Mac and cheese and truffle fries were all delicious! We had for mains the chicken stuffed with lobster, the melt-in-your-mouth beef cheeks but the star of the night was the ribeye: that sauce! Woah! Nanette was our serve and she was a total queen, thanks to the chefs and everyone who made our night amazing! We will be back! Oh and by the way, the prices in this place are VERY reasonable for the level of food that we got, it was actually cheap for so much food we ordered! Congrats and great job!

I had the veal parmesan with fettuccine. The fettuccine was fine, I'd give it an 8, the veal parm was not good, I'd give it a 2. The veal was very dry, hard and tasteless and the coating was burned, not sure why the chef would send this out. As the main part of the dish was the veal, the overall rating for the meal is 5 at best. Also, we were seated on the back upper level where the tables are literally 16 inches apart. The couple seated next to us might as well have been seated at our table, they commented likewise. We heard everything they said during the evening and vice versa. I also heard the couple seated behind us similarly comment negatively. Packing the tables together likely allows more customers to fit in, but it kills any chance for return business as I would never return to such a restaurant where even a modicum of privacy is non-existent.

Nice place to unwind. We missed the kitchen but they brought out bread because we were hungry. Manager said just run across grab pizza at Stobies and eat it here. Topped up my soda multiple times. Engaged with the staff. Other clientele in the bar were all friendly. Nice Jazz background music.. The staff hospitality will bring you back!

I had a really great dinner at the tasting room. The food and service was delicious! Unfortunately I didn't try a wine flight but had some sangria, which was a bit watery than I'd prefer. The atmosphere is a 4..maybe even a 3. I thought this would be more fine dining given the prices but a lot of diners were so casually dressed (shorts, running shoes, athletic apparel). There was no music or ambient music in the background either

First timer. Went there for wedding anniversary based on Google reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Excellent service. Food was absolutely splendid, off the charts. Our server Nanette (?) was very attentive to our needs. A bit noisy closer to the bar but we tolerated it well. We had coconut shrimp and crab cakes for appetizers with rack of lamb and grilled ribeye for entree’s. I highly recommend this establishment. If you’re looking for a (really) quiet evening with your date this might not work for you.
