Formaggio's Pie Shack

We ordered deep dish pizzas around 6 pm on a Thursday. The pies were ready when expected. They were hot and delicious. I've never had deep dish pizza from anywhere else to compare, but the ones from Formaggios were very good. While the food was take out, waiting in the restaurant it had a lively and friendly atmosphere. The staff I dealt with were very pleasant.

Our server Ligia was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. The wait for the food was a bit much, but she was energetic, bright, smiley and suggested we ordered apps for the wait. We got the combo platter and a few beers and were not disappointed. Great service, this one always smiling and positive. Makes you want to come back. And Eleni and Anita are great as well 💯👍 😁😁😁😁😁😁

We are here out of town staying at an Airbnb and heard great things about the pizza here, but we were not very prepared to give our delivery info while ordering. Sienna took our order and was very patient, accommodating, and extremely friendly. Pizza was good, had the large deep dish. Really filling and loaded with toppings inside. It's literally a pizza pie. Pizza was good, but customer service was even better. Thanks Sienna!

I'm brand new to London but a friend recommended that I come try out the deep dish pizza and I have to say, after getting the large 4 of us couldn't even finish it. They were even super cool with us coming in 20-25 minutes before close, something I generally hate and feel terrible doing as a kitchen staff member myself. Our waitress also made sure to recommend the bacon bits which I would normally avoid but Formaggios will definitely be my exception as their bacon bits are real and plentiful. I'll definitely be returning many times in the future as the pizza was incredible and the service was super friendly. Very chill environment too, really cool how they make use of their keg fridge. Would definitely recommend if you're a pizza fanatic and have a hard time filling your stomach, will not disappoint.
