My guest is from Hungary. We both loved the atmosphere, it is like being in Budapest. The food is excellent quality and authentic without question. This is not the Canadian fare some are used to. It's exactly how Hungarian food should taste. Exception sangria, chicken paprikash, goulash, sausage, cabbage and schnitzel, get chicken schnitzel. Do not miss out on nokedli (noodles). This incredible restaurant should be a protected Hungarian landmark in our opinion.

The most relaxing and family feeling atmosphere we’ve had in ages. The food (Hungarian platter) was absolutely decadent. The server Quinton, was so friendly and kind. Loved the musicians, they had my girlfriend in tears it was so beautiful. Thank you! 10 stars from us’

Went here a week ago for my birthday. They did not disappoint. As a Hungarian who always has to try local Hungarian restaurants, this is probably the only one that had it all right. I'm convinced someone's grandmother was back there cooking, because everything was cooked to perfection. If you want authentic Hungarian food, this is the place. The staff was great and the portions were massive. Will always recommend this to anyone coming into the city. They even sang me happy birthday. 😊

Budapest Restaurant in London was my first true initiation into the world of traditional Hungarian cuisine and it was a great first experience!
My wife and I enjoyed our date night immensely. We had a chicken schnitzel sandwich, perogies, beef stroganoff, and a strawberry crepe to finish it off.
The food was delicious, the service great, and the atmosphere excellent. If you're searching for some tasty traditional Hungarian food in London, Ontario, then you need to check out Budapest Restaurant for yourself!

As a fellow Hungarian, this restaurant does us proud. Great food, lots of options and well priced. Nice and friendly staff. We planned a surprise dinner for my mom and it went very well. We were well catered to and can’t wait to go back. Definitely must visit if you’re in the area!

Fabulous atmosphere and excellent food! So pleased to have wound up here for our meal. Our group of 14 decided on an impromptu dinner and the staff at Budapest Restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating. Lots of smiles, excellent service and wonderful food. This restaurant is a gem!

We had a good time dining here. All the food we had was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed the Langos and Budapest platter. Our waiter was helpful and friendly.
Reasonably priced bottles of wine.
Decor is a little dated but it added to the experience. Would return.

We shared a wonderful dining experience! Food was traditional Hungarian dishes!
Schnitzel both pork and chicken were more than we could eat.
Platters were excellent presentation and again lots on them. Service was great and dishes came out in a timely manner.
Finished with one apricot, and strawberry crepe.
I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys authentic traditional dishes! 😊 and a great dining experience with a nice atmosphere, music in the background was quiet and not overwhelming.
