The Tea Lounge

Came here with my wife for some afternoon tea. Unfortunately, they didn't have any Darjeeling, which I thought was odd, but I asked them for an alternative. The astute server offered me a Nepalese alternative, which was really great. My wife got a latte which was also good. And their scones were amazing! I highly recommend people to check this place out!

My niece and I had a fantastic experience and what a memorable experience. The listing of teas are very extensive and comprehensive, beautiful tea services and wonderful ambience. The furniture and finishes are beautiful. The staff and owner are incredibly lovely, personable, professional and knowledgeable.

Every time I’ve been to The Tea Lounge has been a great experience! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and there are lots of plant based drink and snack options to choose from for those with dietary restrictions. The owner is a tea sommelier and will happily recommend you any of her 50+ types of tea to try based on what you’re looking for in a tea. The high tea experience is a favourite of mine, the food is so delicious and very well presented!

The Tea Lounge is one of my favourite places in London and is probably this city’s best kept secret. With its excellent service, delicious plant-based offerings and wonderful experience, I always love coming here. As someone who was born and raised in ‘the other London’, I hold afternoon tea pretty near and dear to my heart and have pretty high standards, but The Tea Lounge exceeds my expectations time and time again. Some may consider it a little pricey, but THIS is a true afternoon tea experience (minus the champagne 😉), and is worth every penny. Also highly recommended as a great date spot! 😁

Absolutely lovely place! Peaceful and a nice place for a relaxing tea break. I had delicious Earl Grey Lavender tea in a “contemporary tea service” which was very nice. I enjoyed sitting on the deck; but the inside is a meditative ambiance and would be nice to enjoy in poor weather. The service was so very kind and sincere from the two women working when I visited. A great experience!

I recently visited The Tea Lounge for my birthday lunch, as I had been wanting to do just that for so long. I was NOT disappointed. The energy and whimsy of The Tea Lounge is reason enough to visit, but Alex made my experience worthy of repeating again and again. From her fabulous greeting, to her sharing the story of my amazing Mayan Hot Chocolate 'mug/bowl', to the delicious Grilled Veg Pesto Panini and incredible interaction at 'check out', I simply cannot say enough good things about The Tea Lounge! Michelle, I am sorry that I missed seeing you, but know that you have created an amazing gem in the city with this oasis of such incredibly awesome vibes <3 I will definitely be back again, this is the perfect place to take my love, or the girls for lunch!
