Hanata Sushi House

Our Go-To local sushi place. The food is pretty good, the service is always great, the price is better than most places locally. The atmosphere is fine, it’s clean, sometimes it’s a little warm in the summer and cool in the winter. The owner is very nice and always very friendly. *Closed Tuesdays - we always forget.

A friend of mine said their favourite sushi spot is Hanata Sushi House. It’s across the street from the Real Canadian Superstore on Oxford Street. Tonight, I excitedly made my way over. Their menu covers everything, from miso soup to gyoza and deep-fried squid balls to various kinds of sushi. Once I sat down, I immediately ordered an assortment of several different sushi. These were great. Some I had never seen before, like the squid sashimi, tamago sushi (egg), and octopus sushi. After that, I ordered a few more rounds which included surf clam sushi, salmon sushi, and 6 unagi rolls. I had a sugar tooth, so I ordered some desserts: chocolate mousse, banana tempura, and a deep fried sesame ball. The mousse was very good but there wasn’t enough of it. The sesame ball was just as good and had a brown filling (not chocolate). The banana tempura was a deep-fried banana with chocolate sauce. The dining area is stunning. Near the entrance was a nicely decorated Christmas tree. Green coloured lights and potted plants brought the room to life. My bill came to $43. My dinner was worth every penny, and I would gladly go back. Hanata has earned and maintains its niche in London’s culinary world.

Paying a flat rate for unlimited sushi ensured that I could indulge in all my favorites without any constraints. The value for money is exceptional considering the high quality and variety offered. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, Hatana exceeded my expectations in every aspect 👏🏻

Went for lunch "all you can eat" sushi buffet with friends. The food is good. I tried a variety of stuff including the shrimp tempura, crab cake pizza, and sushi with mango and avocados just for the fun of it. The California rolls are great as is the torched selection. Service was good. Ended it all with green tea ice cream!

We were greeted and seated right away when we came in. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant, but there were a lot of people in and out for take-out throughout the time we were seated. The person who seated us offered us the choice of the à la carte menu or all you can eat. We chose à la carte this time and it was a fair bit of food. We ordered and the food was brought to our table in about 15-20 minutes. All the sushi looked and tasted great! The servers kept out tea cups full and brought extra ginger as soon as I asked. Very enjoyable experience and we'll be back soon! The dish in the photo is Diamond Sushi.

Went here with my spouse for a lunch date, service was incredibly quick, staff was very kind/accommodating, food was well prepared and delicious! We ordered quite a few rolls, and appetizers, they didn’t give us any issues with placing multiple orders or taking a while as other reviews have suggested. Our only complaint is that some of the rolls were slightly heavy on rice. Definitely a must try if you’re in London!

cute local sushi buffet, they bring your orders to you. Service is superb, very friendly staff that kept checking in on me. Was dining alone for lunch. Sushi / food tastes fresh and I ate a lot forgetting to take some pics as I was enjoying the moment. Atmosphere is nice I would imagine it's nice anytime and with anyone. Price is reasonable at today's rate Didn't use washrooms as I always carry hand sanitizer and wetwipes 😉
