London Chinese Restaurant

Cantonese Restaurant inside the mall right next to the Chinese supermarket. Had dim sum, sticky rice and other side plates for lunch and the food was great. All the items were made fresh and the service was fast. The decor is slightly outdated but the food is authentic and fresh so that’s all that matters.

Tried this place upon doing a bit of digging for some good Dim Sum offerings in London, was not at all disappointed in the choice. Tried quite a few of the steamed and fried options and all were amazing. Started off with a dumpling soup which was nice and balanced. Tried the duck and BBQ pork plate which was exactly as expected, nice crispy duck with a side of duck sauce and well seasoned pork slices. The sweet and sour pork was what I'd consider a less Americansed take on it, not the standard bright red, but more of an orange sauce with some hot peppers stewed in the dish and a nice round slightly herbed flavour.

Another great meal here. Friendly, fast service. Loads of seating. Awesome to find Peking Duck on the menu. Crisp skin, tender moist meat to go with the freshly made thin pancakes. Beef tenderloin with broccoli was tender and flavorful. Added in some all day dim sum treats to cap off the meal. Egg tarts made on premises are flaky and to die for. Even our own resident restaraunt owners gave this place a big thumbs up when we dined with them on this evening. Aiming to be back on multiple Monday evenings.

Great place in London to get some very early in the day dimsum. Open at 10am and we were seated just after opening as the only patrons arriving that early. As a result everything out of the kitchen was piping hot and fresh, delivered so quick. Really authentic restaraunt with a menu of all kinds of our favorites such that we will return for dinner. Food was tasty and selection is fantastic. A little pricier than the GTA obviously because of lack of competition but happy to find such a restaraunt having driven up from Blenheim on the day.

Great restaurant, I went with my friend this evening. The wait was a little long but it was peak time so that was okay. The servers were very kind. We ordered the combo for two and the portions were huge. I have an allergy to egg and they were very understanding when I asked to take the egg out. The food was spectacular, just the right amount of spice and flavouring. We couldn't finish so we got some take-out trays to bring it home. I will definitely come back another day!

Amazing experience. We ordered a "meal for 2 people", but it was really fitting for an entire family. Absolutely no complaints. It took a bit for the food to get there, but it was rush hour so this was forgiveable. Everything was delicious, from soup to stir fry. Chicken was sauced very well...just great all around. I also ordered in the past and always enjoyed it. It's a pleasure to live nearby.

We really like London Chinese Restaurant. It's our go-to place for dim sum. Service is almost always excellent (we had a hard time being noticed by a server a couple times, but both times, it was insanely busy, so it was completely understandable). We have since avoided going at peak times, and service has been consistently good. The duck is also great, and their squid tentacles are awesome (at most other places, the coating falls off and the squid is not as tender). We have never left disappointed, that's for sure. And we have never experienced any of the unpleasant experiences reported by a few of the reviews I've seen here. No complaints from me.
