Amazing place. Very unique and fun idea. Great for dates or a fun night out. Cozy atmosphere and great food and drink options. Tons of board games to choose from and some I haven't ever heard of. Games are kept clean and have all the pieces. The price point is very good for what you get. Can get a little loud with a lot of people in the small shop. But it's generally quiet as people play. Amazing place. Will definitely visit again

Wonderful community atmosphere. Prices seemed high until the quality of the food (and drinks) justified the cost. Great place to take a getting-to-know-you date as the games can be great icebreakers (they probably have one called icebreakers). Excellent place to get together and play a game with old friends. I'm glad they survived the summer construction and I look forward to more visits there

Great place, I love going there with friends or meeting new people. Especially on Mondays, there is always a group of friendly, committed board gamers present on that day. It's the wonderful atmosphere, the friendly patrons and staff; it all comes together in a wonderful place to be yourself. Great snacks, well prepared hot beverages (specialty tea and coffee) and soda(as well as more adult beverages available)

Lots of selections of games, including video games! Loved that. Some games missing pieces but most in great shape & lots of unique variety for all ages! Very cozy & tidy place. Food was delicious & service was quick & friendly. My only downside? The 3$ CAN of coke & 7$ mill street organic. Not even a fountain pop or bottled drink. That was a 3.25$ can of coke, which tbh pissed me off, had I known it was a can I would have not ordered it.

Really nice and typically quiet place. Great place to go and catch up with someone. I had a hot chocolate and it was delicious!

Great place to go for an inexpensive good time. There are a lot of game options for large and small groups, which is great, we were worried with 5 people that there wouldn't be enough options for us but we were pleasantly surprised! Amazing selection of milkshakes, and great selection of alcoholic and cafe drinks to enhance the experience. We didn't play the electronic games, but it's neat to have that option as well as the board games. Overall a great experience, and the staff was friendly.

Few things compare to being at a table with your friends, live and in-person while playing some board games together. It's a sense of community that video games cannot always provide and the Cardboard Cafe has become the perfect place to come together and play these games with friends. The selection of the games available proves to be both diverse and crowd-pleasing. The menu offered more items than I expected and I was fairly impressed with their milkshakes. The one drawback I noticed was the seating and tables. I'm hoping that as the popularity increases, they can improve the seating situation and purchase higher-quality chairs. Overall, it's an excellent night out with friends that will only cost you $5 per person for games.

Great place to hang out and play games. There is a $5 stay and play charge but it's worth the money to be able to sit in a clean and well kept environment. The coffee style selection is great, and their food options are getting better by the week. They often have daily specials, like Tuesdays are buy one stay and play get another free. There are many events during the week as well as monthly events. Highly recommended if you and your group need a place to play, or if you are looking to make new friends with some of the other patrons.

Josh, the owner, is super friendly and always willing to explain how to play the games. I like the selection of drinks (liquor licence), sandwiches and snacks (candy bowls). I look forward to seeing the menu possibly expand over time. Although I've never been to a like-minded establishment before, I had the idea that the set up offer a comfy cafe-like atmosphere. However, it's a new business and maybe those changes are down the road.
