I really didn't imagine that a restaurant on a boat parked in the middle of a canal in Hackney Wick would be so good! We went for Sunday roast and everything was excellent. The waitress who served us was super friendly. It's true that the service slowed down as more and more people arrived, but we w
Cool place to ensure a relaxed meal on the canals at Hackney Wick. Weather was superb and sunny, so that made it even better. Food was pretty good, considering the location and the limited resources they have to make things happen. Service was friendly and laid back. I must say, we weren't that co
This was an Anniversary meal, and I must say the whole set up was a pleasurable experience, the views across the river, the rustic barge and staff all added in a positive way. The food was ok but I was not blown away by it as I wanted to be. Full Sunday roast was 3 adequate meats, gristly and fatty in p
Visited Barge Eadt after attending Abba Voyage. Loved the atmosphere inside and outside in the gardens. We visited on a Sunday, so only roasts on offer. The majority of our good was delicious, but a few of our group mentioned that their beef was a little tough 😕 My Pochetta was absolutely heaven, an
Delicious food, chose the 2 course pre theatre menu. Good choice. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Slight criticism, would have liked meal to be hotter. Otherwise fabulous place would recommend.
A very unique experience grabbing food and drinks on a boat. The staff treated us to complimentary Prosecco which was really nice. Theres a good selection of sides, small dishes and mains - they all tasted amazing and presented beautifully. There was also quite an extensive drinks menu too! All in a
This was such a lovely meal and a great place for a birthday or special occasion. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was beautiful. My only criticism would be the size of the portions and the lack of any sides of b
We booked a table here ahead of going to see Abba Voyage. The weather was great and this venue was the perfect spot to enjoy beers, cocktails, and food. Fabulous concept, chilled holiday type vibe, and top service. Loved it and could easily have spent the whole evening there.
Food was so full of flavour..We had the trio Sunday Dinner. It was amazing even the pork had a rind of crackling on it. We also had the side dish leeks with cheese on it ..it was delicious. Would 100% recommend it. We will definitely go back again.... But word of warning you definitely need to book

Soak up the sun and the surrounding buzzy atmosphere of the Hackney Wick Rivera as you dine on the splendid 120 year old Dutch Barge. It’s an unforgettable laid-back fine dining experience. We enjoyed the Saturday set menu. The food was lovely and the staff super friendly. It's a memorable dining oc
The tasting menu was an incredible experience, the food was so interesting and fresh from their garden. We came on a Sunday and the roasts were fantastic. We will really well looked after by faith, thank you! Wine pairing really well done also.
Fantastic Sunday Roast! I had the trio of roasts, which was great to be able to try some different things. Probably one of the best Sunday Roasts I've had in a long time.
