We had a great time here. The owner was very welcoming and the food was delicious.
We had the fried zucchini and Funghi all'Aglio to start. And Linguine Vongole and Spaghetti Scoglio for mains which were fresh and delicious. Had to finish the meal with Tiramisu.
I couldn't get enough so had to take a pizza home.
Would Visit again just for the hospitality and service and the great food is a bonus.

Fiddies is the one shop in Swiss Cottage neighbourhood I want to go everytime I want to eat outside. Right from the shear warm welcome and homely atmosphere to the delicious cheese laden dishes, everything is top notch.
My favourite (as you might’ve guessed from my pictures) is the baby chicken with tomatoes. Its soft, its juicy and the flavours are distinctly delicious 😋!
The steak 🥩 is a unique approach to serving steaks with peppercorns being the king 👑 of steak flavour. The bigger dishes take some time to be ready, hence go for the garlic 🧄 bread 🍞. It comes like a pizza 🍕

Highly recommend, fantastic local restaurant.
The portions are generous, flavours and great coupled with great prices, I cannot complain. The restaurant is fairly small, so if you so come at a busy time, you might have to wait. We came during the “Beast from the East” period so it wasn’t as busy but can easily see it getting packed out.
We had pizza, pasta, lasagne, and a whole grilled sea bass. The stand out dishes were the fish, pasta and lasagne. We so surprised at the size of the fish and how fresh it was! With the average price of each dish around £10 it’s great value. We had 4 people and were completely stuffed at the end.
Will definitely come back.

I was with my husband first time today. Impression very positive. Smiling owner welcoming guests. It's rare. Short and clear menu card. A choice for people who like meat and vegetarian dishes. The place is cozy, nice music, home-like atmosphere. Food is delicious! Good fresh ingredients. Short waiting time. I'm glad I found the taste of Italy. I will come back here. Thank you!!!

We tried two pizzas and one pasta. The pizza was preferred by all of us so that is what I would recommend. Service was friendly and fairly quick. It's a small restaurant and can get quite loud. Good value as the portions were quite good. Overall a nice experience.

Friendly service but super busy restaurant. Great lunch deal - selected pasta or pizza with a soft drink. Huge portions which were of great value. Both pasta and pizza were super tasty and surprisingly cheap! Two lunch deals altogether cost less than £14! Highly recommended as the restaurant is at a convenient location - only less than 5 mins walk from Finchley Road station!

Brilliant place, great food and very reasonable prices. Far better than going to a chain restaurant and the owner always goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and even throws in discounted drinks or free shots.
We visited 3 times in the same weekend, had different dishes and all were done to perfection. Check out their TripAdviser reviews too. Highly recommended but make sure you book during busy times.

Great place for a hearty reasonably priced Italian meal. Can recommend both the pastas and the pizzas, all very tasty. The lunch time deals are really good value for money. This is a well known fact though however so it can get rather busy during lunch hours. Somehow we always still find a seat amongst the buzz however. The owner provides a friendly service as well.

Everything from Fiddie's is worth going. Form the nice house red to the pizza, even starters. We are not speaking about an expensive restaurant, we are speaking about a delicious no frills Italian place.
All of this wrapped into a chill atmosphere and a good service. Recommended.

Pizza was slightly charred we had to wait quite some time to get our glasses for the beer. Foccacia bread was delicious and the owner is a great guy.
You should visit this restaurant if you come around Swiss cottage.

One of, if not the best Pizzas in London. Service that can't be beaten and great price too. Packed out, as it should be in the evening, but lunch time you should be able to get a table. An extremely rare five stars.

Food cooked from the heart is always great. At Fiddie's it's cooked fresh. The smiles are genuine and the laughter, happy.

Great food, vegan options!
This amazing little Italian place has several vegetarian and vegan options amongst the usual and always wanted regular Italian specialties. The quality and presentation are super and the staff friendly and fun.
100% recommend

Went for our anniversary meal. Fiddie and his wife Emma were very friendly. The atmosphere was cheerful. The food (pizza and risotto) was amazing.

This little place is absolutely amazing. Price is unbeatable, but food is much beyond that. 5 stars.

It looks like a cafe on the outside.
Inside is nothing special, but the food and wine are.
Great food and wine for less that £50 for a couple, cant complain about that.

Great Italian-american style pizza. Small place friendly staff.

I’ve tried the « Diavola », which is pepperoni and some chilli with cheese and tomato paste. It was actually really good, until i felt bad pain in my stomach after i finished it. I would have given a 3.5/5 rating at least if I haven’t felt the same. You may not have a similar reaction, but for me i wouldn’t try it again.

This place is a little gem located around 20 minutes from central London. The chef works alone and is very friendly and the food is really delicious.
We had the seafood pasta which was really good and some pizzas to share which were also delicious.
One of the best family restaurants in London!

When you pass the continuous range of high road offerings looking for a light Italian lunch (pizza or pasta) without any paraphanalia, Fiddie's offers an unpretentious mix and match pasta/pizza with traditional fillings or toppings. Nothing more. But it was good The octopus was not chewey, the Marguerita was 12" wide and the meatballs were round with a good jar of traditional sauce. With two litres of water the meal cost £28 so it's amazing value, for you can pay that for poor quality and say 'you get what you pay for'. Fiddie's shows that you can delivery value and decent quality at the same time.

A chilly Sunday blew us into Fiddie's where we were made very welcome in this friendly, informal restaurant. Delicious antipasti, hearty and tasty pasta, and fantastic Chianti Poggio delle Sassaie. Thank you for a lovely lunch and for warming our hearts on an autmn afternoon.

What a great experience in this unpretentious, cosy restaurant! A happy welcome from "Fiddie" himself. Really well cooked, flavourful food, served in generous portions, by Fiddie or his equally appropriately attentive colleague. No wonder those who hadn't booked last Saturday night, were happily waiting outside, or came back after having a drink elsewhere.

The three of us had garlic bread; fried zucchini; mozzarella and tomato salad; calzone; pasta al funghi ( mushrooms in a rich, creamy sauce); chicken al funghi, with vegetables and roast potatoes; tiramisu and cheesecake. All home made. Washed down by a bottle of Chianti. So we had a good variety of food and what really struck us, apart from the generous portions, was the very high quality of the cooking and the flavour of the food.
