Great food and lovely atmosphere. Having moved nearby, I have been to Cafe Amisha a few times. The food has always been delicious, it's reasonably priced and there is even an outdoor area. In the evenings it's usually pretty busy and the atmosphere is quite mature - although child friendly too (I have seen happy families there at dinner time).

But considering that it is 10 minutes by foot from where I live/ about 10 minutes also from Bermondsey Street and that it is 50% off on Taste London , I was willing to take a risk. I was glad that I did because there is absolutely nothing wrong with Cafe Amisha, besides the name maybe. Walking down Grange Road you really expect the worst and then suddenly you arrive at this rather stylish restaurant. High ceiling, interesting decoration and very generous layout with tables far apart and a few corners with comfortable looking sofas. Very good first impression! The menu is small and reads well with a nice selection of starters and

Excellent pizzeria, good prices- a bit of an oasis in Bermondsey. Good range of pasta and appealing olives and breads. Interior is modern and attractive but often rather cold, and the long wooden tables are uncomfortable. Would take a step up with modern, properly set tables.

Hand made pizzas are the best, with fresh ingredients. And more than sufficient for one person.
The portion of the spaghetti wasn't that good but loved the taste :)

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Great place to take the kids during the day and early evening. They have some long bench tables, perfect for those bigger family & friends gatherings. In the evenings you can sit outside with a glass of Peroni and watch the world go by.
Family run. Welcoming & friendly.
Oh....and the pizza are great too & the Italian roasted coffee excellent

A very decent Italian restaurant near my accommodation. Went there the first time last winter, staffs were super friendly, and their kids were so adorable. All the restaurant was filled with the vibe of Christmas. Visited the restaurant again in summer. Services are still very good however the outdoor seats and table were a bit dusty when we were seated. The staff helped us wipe the table again after taking our order. The king prawns in garlic oil is the must-try starter. I went there with this appetizer every time. The carbonara and the seafood linguine were delicious. I also enjoyed the Amisha piccante so so much because it contained abundant flavors in one pizza. The salty and spicy salami, sweet and roasted red and yellow peppers, and some strong green chilies surprising your tongue in a few bites. The dough smelled really good and tasted really good as well. I will definitely visit this place many more times.

Unparalleled restaurant! I went to the Amisha restaurant once again, and I always had a wonderful experience. I thought I could never be surprised again by the excellent service and goodness of the food in this restaurant. Chef Leonardo again left me speechless with extraordinary two-tone gnocchi with cheese and courgette sauce. Furthermore, the competence and kindness of the service are always at the top; for this, I thank Francesco and his guys. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

It’s always a delightful experience coming to Cafe Amisha. There’s always a warm and inviting ambiance accompanied via a food menu that is a true celebration of Italian flavors, offering a wide array of dishes that showcase the Italian cuisine. I always have a joke with the owner and amazing staff, no Cappucino after 12pm! 😜

This place is amazing! Delicious food, Francesco is a star, super welcoming and caring owner and great place! They also have a deli which is a secret gem with Italian authentic items that are almost impossible to find in London! Ask for the "specials of the day": we had gnocchi with percorino fondue and tagliatelle with cinghiale ragu.. I still dream about it!! As Italian, I will go back there as many times as I can!!

Absolutely wonderful food and great personable service! They even satisfied our request for some takeaway ice. (Which came with a bonus delicious limoncello.)

What can I say a lovely place and definitely worth checking out the Girotondi biscuits. As you can see there were almost none left once I got going. And definitely an easy choice over the ginger nuts.

A little gem hidden away in an unexpected part of Bermondsey, but those who know, know, so it is remarkably popular amongst a mixed crowd of unpretentious people. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Superb pizzas, lovely pasta dishes and knockout cocktails, served by the friendly and efficient staff. They have recently added a few specials, which are well worth checking out. For foodies, there are some genuine Sardinian dishes such as the Fregola (pictured) , and Pane Carasau (Sardinian Bread). Top that off with a tiramasu and a grappa or limoncello and you'll walk away smiling. Even when busy, there is plenty of space for a relaxed evening. We often walk in, but recommend parties booking in advance. There is also a deli catering for homesick Italians craving Pandistelle biscuits, Estate or Chinotto, or looking for some special ingredients for their own cooking. Bermondsey's best kept secret. Don't ever change.

I had the spaghetti bolognese, the food tasted good but I was slightly disappointed on the portion size for paying £14.50

AMAZING food, beautiful people & great drinks! (The best pizza I ever had in my life) I found myself coming to this store frequently on my 5 day trip to London. I don't do reviews often, so this should speak volumes!

Fantastic great Italian restaurant. Very good food and very good wines. It is clear that the staff and chefs know their profession. We were six people and everyone was very impressed with the food and service. I would especially like to highlight Francisco who was our host. He was knowledgeable and very funny. The head chef also made an impression, with his knowledge of Italian food and not least of the fantastic Tiramisu cake he made. We tried and get the recipe but it was secret😉. Cafe Amisha is highly recommended. Wellington be back here.

Good home style Italian food - highly recommend the pesto pasta, the tagliatelle with ragout and the cheesy garlic bread. The local store also has delicious cannolis.

Have been coming for 3 years and love this place. Friendly staff, delicious food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Normally pretty busy but have never had an issue getting a table. Best lasagna we’ve had in London. Highly recommend!

I've been lucky to live close to such a nice restaurant. The food is amazing, pizzas or pasta doesn't matter, I'm always amazed. I always love their tiramisu. The place is really nice, modern looking with an open kitchen and very friendly staff. Prices are more than reasonable. I can only say I already miss it!

We passed by this humble little Italian eatery and made a note to come back one day. We dropped by for an early dinner last night and were greeted by the friendly staff. We didn’t have a reservation but tried out luck with a walk-in. Luckily for us, they had some space (recommend for you to book to avoid disappointment). We got a burrata with homemade pesto to start and the sweet waitress recommended the garlic bread to go along with it. It was an excellent suggestion cause it paired so well and we wiped the dish clean! For mains, we got a ham and mushroom pizza and a seafood linguine. Both were so delicious too and the portion was huge for the price! We didn’t have space for dessert but took a mental note to come back for them next time. The staff is also super cheeky and cute! This place has quickly gone to our list of places to revisit on our own and also with family and friends! Thanks for a great time :)
