Honest Burgers Borough

Had a fairly disappointing experience here a few weeks ago. One of the burgers was undercooked (rare rather than medium rare) and we weren't told that they were out of chips when we arrived. The gentleman with the hat seemed to be in a bad mood, but the female staff were helpful. I've had a better experience here before so would try again if in the area

The Market Borough burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had and is a MUST TRY in London! Wow, what a combination of fresh British beef, raclette cheese, and Spanish chorizo straight from Spain via Brindisa. The cheese I think was the star of the show; a perfect combination of creaminess and sharpness that brings your tastebuds into a slow waltz and then rocks you gently to sleep. The fries were also outstanding! Dressed in rosemary and fried to perfection they are the best compliment for the best burger. Again, a must-try if you are in London!

I’ve been a fan of Honest Burger tbh {It sounds like how a sponsored review would begin, but it’s not} Whenever I have friends who come to travel this is usually my to-go place because they have done a great job maintaining their food quality over time (which I can make sure my friends’ dining experience won’t go wrong). I can’t conclude that for all outlets because I’ve only been to Borough and Greenwich’s. There’s one thing I noticed is that perhaps the recipe of Iced Mint Lemonade has changed? I really loved the chopped mint that came at the bottom of the drink. Refreshing and energising. It was a year ago during my first visit. Since then the drink came without it so I do hope they will bring it back.

Had left a pub down the road because they had a 1 hour wait for food. There was a big group of us, 6 people, so was a bit worried about finding somewhere. The told us it was a 10 min wait, but seated us in closer to 5. The service was exceptional, the waitress advised us on how much to order and was spot on! As always, the food was amazing! Highly recommend!

Not been to an Honest before, loved it! The smash burger was great and the fact you get a side included I thought gave excellent value for money compared to some other burger chains. Drinks were also well priced, especially the cocktails (which we enjoyed so much I forgot to actually take a photo of the food!)
