Great little local pub. Use to be my father's local. Great menu, brilliant atmosphere quite a few events over the year. Recommended.

We absolutely loved everything we ordered and wish we had room for more food. We can’t wait to return. Our daughter loved the pasta bolognaise! Thank you for a lovely Friday night! See you soon.

Impeccably maintained, clean. Warm, friendly welcome from every staff member as if I'd already visited in a past life...Cask ales well maintained, no wait at the bar. As far as food goes, I ate the oysters and octopus (fresh and well priced) then a hefty burger, not over-cooked as many are in these parts. Landlords even passed through while I sat near the bar and seemed to have an awesome village vibe going on with the locals. A welcome antidote to the managed houses I come across far too often. Keep up the example to others!

Wonderful homey pub with excellent staff. The talented chefs make miracles in the tiny kitchen/closet. The Sunday roast was amazing. Lamb rump with roasted veg and a house made mint sauce that is simply perfect. The jamon iberico croquetas and the gazpacho (a new addition to the menu) were absolutely delicious, as well. A true hidden gem.

My husband and I had our last dinner in The UK at your amazing restaurant before jetting back to The USA. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, from start to finish. The service was attentive, friendly, and willing to answer all of our questions! If it wasn’t such a long walk, we’d go back tonight!

Just had lunch at the Andover Arms; what a truly special place this is! A great room with Luke and Suzanne’s warm friendly welcome, an excellent Guinness to savour the menu; six perfect oysters first, then a crab salad, nose to tail pork, avocado with asparagus and that monkfish with pancetta?! Wowwwww! And a Lavender Panacotta and the best Flat White ive had! Thank you both for a great meal and i look forward to trying the steak very soon!!

We had a fantastic Christmas lunch at the Andover Arms in 2022. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Five courses, after a glass of champagne was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas. We were never rushed, the courses came at perfect intervals and the atmosphere was intimate yet nicely lively. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon.

Had a fantastic Sunday afternoon in the newly reopened and refurbished pub. The team were very friendly and helpful, the roast beef was perfect and the chocolate fondant dessert was to die for. Highly recommend and we will be back very soon.

Lovely pub tucked away from the main roads. Walked in, friendly atmosphere, quite busy. Found it via Google reviews as was looking for a good Sunday roast as my usual place was shut. Starter was fresh like the prawns were literally caught not so long ago. Main course was amazing and so was the desert. I should get out of my comfort zone a little bit more and try more new places to eat as this one was top marks! Loved that it also is an animal friendly pub, there was a dog with some other customers that was pretty chill.
