Happened to attend an event in Woolwich and settled on this Vietnamese place with ny friends as the interior looks pretty decent from the photos online. The place certainly doesn’t disappoint, it is tucked away from the busy high streets and the decorations are lovely.
The restaurant operates in a self service manner so a little notepad is supplied to each table which the customers note down their orders and pay at the till. I ordered the Vietnamese cold noodles with lemongrass pork & spring roll, which comes in a big portion and really tasty with the soy sauce served separately. We all enjoyed the hot filtered white coffee which is just the perfect balance of sweetness! All the dishes on the menu are really good for value too! Highly recommended to drop by for a nice meal!

Fantastic Vietnamese restaurant tucked away on an unassuming side street in Woolwich. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
One of the standout dishes for me was the vegetarian pancake. It had a wonderfully crispy exterior and was filled with a delicious combination of bean sprouts and vegetables. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, making it a truly enjoyable dish. I also tried the sweet chilli tofu baguette, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were well-balanced, with the sweetness of the chilli complementing the tender tofu perfectly. The baguette itself was fresh and served as an excellent vehicle for the flavors to shine.
To accompany my meal, I decided to try Vietnamese coffee for the first time, and I must say, it was fantastic. The combination of strong coffee and sweet condensed milk created a delightful and indulgent flavor that I found myself thoroughly enjoying.
One unique aspect of Viet Baguette is the self-service system. Each table is equipped with a notepad, allowing you to write down your order and communicate with the staff. This added a sense of convenience and efficiency to the dining experience.

We had the prawn crackers, summer rolls, salt and pepper squid, Banh Mi and crispy seafood noodles.
Each dish was incredible, fresh and flavourful, cooked with true pride and passion for giving people a taste of Vietnam.
If you're in the area and looking for a great place to eat, this is it!!
Please note that I'd already had a nibble in a couple of the photos as I literally couldn't wait to dive in!! (The portion sizes were very generous, and I almost needed rolling home!!)
Had the banh mi special and the summer rolls here on saturday. Really good value for money and great quality food. A great place to go if you're in the Woolwich area!

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London, we’ve been. You can get most of the typical Vietnamese food here. You write down what you would like to order on a note
Pad at the table and take it to the tail to pay for your food. You get 10% discount. If you pay by cash the environment is nice and I have a small garden area toilets are located downstairs. The staff are helpful and friendly. You can help yourself with tap water at the table. The starter are quite big so if you’re not too hungry you can order as a main course. Nearby street parking is about £2.50 an hour. We had a enjoyable afternoon here.
A cute, lovely spot for a quick hungover lunch. Summer rolls with a peanut sauce of dreams, and a delightfully smoky bun cha Hà Nội—note the plentiful veg For Health. To order you write your desires on a little notepad with an Argos-style writing implement.
Me and my partner visited on a Tuesday afternoon for a quick lunch. We had summer rolls with satay sauce to start and pho and vermicelli noodles with lemongrass grill pork for mains. Food was very nice, summer rolls were freshly made to order, staff was very nice and the space was very welcoming. Easy five stars!!
The dishes were really delicious. Bun Rieu is not similar to Bun Rieu in Vietnam but it's still good to have a try. Must try Crispy seafood noodles. I also ordered Banh Cuon and Che 3 Mau, Che 3 Mau the red beans and mung beans paste were not really well-cooked but it's still acceptable and delicious. The bill is about £39 in total
We got some food as take out, and we weren't disappointed!! Excellent fresh, tasty food. Sweet and sour chicken was great!! We will definitely be going back. Only very slight criticism is that there could be a little more sauce with the chicken. But not enough of a problem to take off any stars!!
