Roux At Parliament Square

We chose to spend a night out in Roux for a special occasion (nameday). We have read about its reputation and went through the menu before visiting. Everything was according to our expectations. Excellent service, immaculate environment, very friendly staff. We chose the 5 course menu and everything was fantastic. Presentation wise as well as taste wise. The price was totally justifiable. We would definitely go back. P.S.: Additional points for the no discretionary charge to the bill. Therefore bear in mind to add your tip for the staff.

Lovely restaurant! It is nice and cosy inside, and to be honest, I was expecting the price of the menu to be higher. I could not afford to eat there often, but on occasion, that's a great place to go. The food was really nice, we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Our hostess was absolutely charming, a young lady called Valentina, her presence made the experience even better. I will definitely go back for the next good opportunity such as a birthday etc. I would recommend.

Went here using a set menu offer in Timeout magazine: 3 courses and a glass of bubbly for £34. The dishes were delicious if not a bit small in portion size, but then this is expected given it is fancy restaurant and a set menu. If you go for the set menu, there are a limited amount of options but we both found something we could eat off of it. I especially loved the vanilla cheesecake with rhubarb. Service was excellent. I was shocked we didn’t get asked to pay a service charge, which is unusual for London, so we were free to tip as much as we wanted.
