Needed a place to escape for a pint from the noise and crowds of the main thoroughfares nearby and this pub hit the spot! Located on a quiet side street, this classic pub served some great cask ales (even their own brand) and had warm service and friendly vibes.

The food was very good, really enjoyed it. We had to sit in the bar area as there was a private event upstairs, and so for dinner with a friend it was a bit noisy, but I would definitely be keen to come back for a few drinks with ky husband, had a good atmosphere. Nicholson's pub which due to its proximity to Liverpool Street station it is often busy. On warm days the standing space outside is at a premium. They serve some excellent ales.

Hired the function room for my retirement do, also done the buffet option, Charley was our bartender for the evening and she was absolutely fantastic. The whole evening went very well and would recommend this venue.
