Service was fab and very personal from start to finish. They didn’t forget a thing. There’s a lovely ambience to the restaurant and because of this, it is not noticeable that there is no music. I loved that.

Decor rather old style (unlike beautiful garden restaurant where fantastic tea is served) but service is impeccable and food really excellent - the gravy for the Sunday roast took three days to prepare and one can really taste it! The girole risotto was the absolute best I've ever had. Lovely meal from start to finish. The staff were all wonderful, and it had that lovely mix of fine dining but with a really nice relaxing atmosphere, zero stuffiness. Delightful.
