Lamberts - London - Photo album

Finally got around to visiting Lambert’s after living in Balham for a few years. Wasn’t disappointed. We had the (ridiculously) good value Balham Food Festival set menu. £20 for 4 courses (£35 with matching wines). We had one meat and one vegan. Both were good. To start grilled leeks (meat menu)
Been to this restaurant a few times and never disappoints, excellent food and service every time. Good selection of drinks too, would highly recommend.
Always delicious. Beautiful British produce. Great cocktails and wine. Very reasonable price.
Superb service, excellent food. Photo of hake with lemon and caper sauce. The capers were large and extremely sweet and flavoursome.
Food is delicious, modern British with a few twists. Had the hanger steak and couldn't have been happier, but everyone else was nothing but complimentary about what was ordered. Drinks wise, I would advise trying out one of the cocktails to start or finish and explore the wine menu in between.
Excellently located close to the tube and next to Firefly (perfect for a few cheeky pre/post drinks). The service is attentive, but not overly so. The food is exquisite and the wine list extensive. The mood lighting is perfect and the ambience suits a small gathering or supper for two. We had a sup
We came here at the weekend for a 30th birthday lunch. Although we were the only table in the restaurant, we didn't really notice it. The food and wine was delicious and the service was very attentive, all waiters being very friendly and polite. I have to say, however, that we were quite disappointe
Went to Lamberts for the first time last night, for the Game Tasting menu. Not being a foodie by any means was absolutely delighted with the meal and the chosen wines that accompanied the meal. Nice people, great service and lovely food and wine. Thoroughly recommend and hope to go again soon. Than
My husband celebrated his last birthday here, and I can honestly say we had a lovely night. The food was amazing and the service was great. If you are looking for a special place - this is the perfect choice.
I often use this restaurant for family birthdays etc. A very good and varying seasonal menu cooked very well. The wine list is interesting and covers all tastes and budgets. Topped off with very good service.
Very good value menu, friendly staff and online booking. Each course was very tasty indeed and the homemade ice creams and sorbets were a treat indeed. No complaints. Menu changes frequently.
We whent here for an impromptune dinner one evening. The menu was inovative and varied so everyone had something to please them. The waiters, suspected owners, were very attentive and pleasent although they did not seem to be as relaxed as you would expect however they were busy so that might expla
A real gem. Nicely appointed room - cosy, intimate and tasteful. Excellent service. Really fantastic food - fresh, beautifully cooked, well presented. Overall a great experience. We will return.
Never been let down here, always good cooking .. probably the most "serious" restaurant in Balham ( in cooking terms.. It's very casual and friendly) .. Great Sunday lunches amongst other things .. I hope they continue to deliver great food to Balham for many more years!
