Lovely tea and cake shop. They also serve sandwiches and cream teas. It isn't cheap, but there are no words to describe how good the food is, particularly the shiny ('Darling') chocolate mousse, photo attached, with macaroon on top. Simply amazing! The tea tastes fresh, quality too, and the plates, cups and cutlery are like an old fashioned village tea shop. Highly recommended, but book early as it's very popular.
Absolutely highly recommended. The food was great, the bus tour was very informative and the staff were excellent! This was a brilliant surprise for my sister's birthday celebration. We would definitely book another one and visit you in Covent Garden.
This is a great spot for Afternoon Tea in London. Great tea selections, food was excellent and the staff was very warm and welcoming. I wish I would have taken a picture of the scones and toppings (the second platter that came out), but I was super jet lagged. The place is bigger than it looks, as it also has tables downstairs. If you’re looking for a small, intimate place, I would recommend Brigit’s. If you want a big, upscale, suit and tie fancy place, this isn’t for you. It would be a great place for a bridal or baby shower, birthday or Mother’s Day. I love the cute style and the fun wallpaper (I can’t believe I said that in a review, but it was very fun).
Absolutely amazing. Three of us took the afternoon tea bus. The staff were so kind and attentive. The food was all delicious and very thoughtfully crafted. Honestly some of the top pastries I’ve had in London! Loved the decor on the bus and the souvenir cup. I highly recommend this afternoon tea bus tour. 10/10
The most amazing birthday our daughter had in the bus. The staff were absolutely delightful considering they do it day in and out. 5 stars for the whole season experience, the food, the takeaways.
Good service! Good deserts and tea! Interior design is really girlish and you feel like a 5 year old kid having tea with her stuffed animals! Love the place! 🌸🌸🌸
Brigit’s bakery surpassed our expectations. We recommend the VIP ticket which gets you a front table on the top deck so you get to enjoy an uncovered view of:
💎Buckingham Palace
💎Kensington Palace (Diana’s home)
💎Harrods
💎The Royal Opera House
💎Hyde Park
And many more...
We enjoyed every second, every bite and every sip of English breakfast tea and chilled prosecco. 🫖🥂
The food was insane! So good words can’t do it justice.
Especially the vegan cream tea - A great first for Miriam who gobbled up the scone, cream and jam in record time! 🥰
On top of the great service, food and drinks Brigit’s Bakery gives you a super cute coffee cup at the end too. We’re now carrying around the world with us.
This is an experience that we’ll never forget.
In addition to this
Just as the bus tour leaves you with wonderful memories, the experience at Brígit's Bakery's location is equally memorable. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it a true gem for anyone seeking a delightful afternoon tea experience.
The moment you step into their charming location, you're greeted with the same warmth and attention to detail that makes their bus tour so special.
Whether you're on the bus or at their location, Brígit's Bakery is a haven of charm, flavor, and hospitality that's sure to leave you with a heart full of warmth and a taste for the extraordinary.
Sapphire and Ethan took us on an informative, food filled adventure of London. The food was yummy. The staff were happy, ready to help and made sure we had everything we needed. The singing and seat dancing finished our tour of London on high. Would recommend. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Thank you xxx
I was not a fan of afternoon tea and the price point always made me stay away but a trip to Brigit's changed my mind. It looks like a doll house with its flowery entrance and interiors and bright colours. Their pots, cups and plates are pretty with floral designs and make you want to stay there a bit longer. The afternoon tea comprised of equal number of sweet and savoury bite sized dishes, tea, coffee and fruit juice. The dishes were unique and creative with the use of ingredients which impressed me. The turkey ham sandwich with tomato bread blew me away and so did the pannacotta, choux and tart. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the scones were delicious with the clotted cream and jam. There was a wide selection of teas and we were spoilt for choice. The only negative I can point out was that the cupcake and muffin were a bit on the dry side and can be improved. Staff were friendly and very helpful with the menu items. Brigit's has changed my perception about afternoon tea and will probably be back here for the next special occasion.
Padding afternoon tea was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming.
It was a really lovely afternoon, in a relaxed atmosphere.
The bus tour was great, lovely commentary from Mrs Bird and Paddington.
We rode the afternoon tea bus today and it was a delightful experience. We boarded at Victoria Station, it had a little but chaos because a Harry Potter and both Tea Busses were boarding at the same time. The staff quickly removed the chaos by circulating the room and separating out the tea bus riders and getting them to the correct location.
You have preassigned seats on the bus that you picked out so, everyone pretty much knows where they are going when they get to the bus. We paid extra for the VIP front seat upstairs and it was worth it. Both us were able to face forward and talk without interrupting the tables around us.
Each table was preset with the menu selection, that was made at time of purchase, and was beautifully presented. It was difficult not to jump into the dessert first, but we held off. There were drink choices served in the lidded cups to rotect the passengers from the bumpy road.
We chose the traditional afternoon teas menu. Savoury Mushroom quiche, Cucumber, cream cheese & mint finger on basil brea, Turkey ham & cheese, mayo mustard finger on tomato bread, Feta, tomato & red pepper savoury muffinsand cucumber pretzel with cream cheese
Our highlight was the sweet desserts, they were great from the Passion fruit & white chocolate pannacotta to the Strawberry & yuzu tart to the
little but dry Orange & poppy seed cupcake and the macaroons stuffed with chocolate. My favorite however were the hot, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The Classic Bus was the icing on the cake, there is a bit of bounce and your silverware might slide from time to time, but the serving trays and plates had non stick material underneath so that things would stay in place.
The staff was very attentive and had the next items ready before you knew you were ready for it. We did both hot and cold tea over the 90 minutes, and there were options of hot chocolate, coffee, water and the prepaid alcohol options of champaign.
The narration was good. It would not be a tour to learn a bunch, it points out the sites and isn't intrusive to the experience. Music from all the eras play throughout the trip. Passengers at the end were singing along to the classic tunes of Sweet Caroline, YMCA, and Pretty Woman.
We had a great afternoon celebrating friendship and had high expectations and they exceeded them. It was a bit spendy, but it will be a lasting memory that we will keep with us forever.
Remember to not book something directly after the tour. London traffic can be unpredictable and we were back at about the 2 hour mark.
Had a lovely time on the bus tour! Were given cute tea mugs (which we keep as a momento) and lovely finger sandwiches, pastries, and scones. It wasn’t too long and the food was tasty and filling!
OK this was awesome! A great way to start your vacation in London because you get to ride the city and take notes about what you may like to come back and visit. All the eats were great as was the tea. We even got a special coronation cup, as it was the weekend of the event!
Absolutely magnificent. Staff (including our wonderful driver, who made our wait so full of laughter, such a lovely guy) nothing is too much trouble, food, decor just delightful. I was gifted this Afternoon Tea for my 50th birthday as I had always wanted to go on the bus. To say my daughter and I enjoyed the experience is an understatement. Highly recommend. Thank you Brigit's 🥰
We had a lovely time! There was such a fun vibe on our tea party tour and the the food was wonderful. Our host Hugo was polite and attentive. We had the VIP seats and could see everything. Gave a great overview of the sites in a fun way and I felt the price was reasonable. Would do again!
I was very sceptical about doing the afternoon tea during my trip to London as I'm not really a fan of tea. However, I thought I would give it a try and choose Brigit's bakery through a recommendation.
It is a really cute place with cosy interior. We were seated downstairs, which is not as cute as the upstairs but still very nicely decorated. We also opted for sharing the afternoon tea as it is really a lot of food unless you come here hungry or can eat a lot 😋
I can sure recommend it for the experience even if you don't like tea, just like me. You would definitely have a nice afternoon break.
We have absolutely enjoyed the experience. Afternoon is a good selection and kid loves it. Especially the scones were warm, fresh and tasty.
The staff are very attentive. The host lady has a lovely, peppa pigish voice that brings so much joy. There’re pappa pig songs to sing all along the journey, and questions to answer.
The journey is 1.5 hours and full of fun activities- singing, questions, activity book, sightseeing and of course yummy afternoon tea.
The only downside is after a while people easily gets carsick. Upstairs amongst 8 tables, 2 backwards facing seat passengers felt asleep. So be prepared.
Today we went on the bus for tea. Our servers, Kyle ,Antonella, and Aziz were great. This my second time doing this tour. This time the food was ok. Muffins were super dry . Also the drive seem to be a little rough compared to the last time I took it.overall good experience. Something great to do while visiting London.
Highly recommend this, the bus is beautiful and the food is really good and high quality. The tour is informative and when I went the second time, we even did karaoke at the end! Staff are extremely friendly and the other people in the bus were really nice and fun.
