A cosy Italian tapas restaurant in Victoria based on a sharing concept. The food is served in small portions and they are quite tasty. The only problem I can say, it's a very noisy restaurant. I don't know why, maybe because of the acoustic, but it is a bit annoying.
I found this restaurant by chance, and I liked it so much, I was alone and I sat on the bar, all the staff was so friendly and helpful to the way that I asked for a fruit salad (not on the menu) and they made it for me. Dishes are of small portions which I found it very nice as you can get to taste many of their delicious food. I found the price to be very reasonable for a fine dining place like this restaurant. Yes I do recommend it
It's a good spot to have a business lunch or a date. You can more or less control how much you spend as they have dishes in all price brackets. Food is good and even being Italian they have some not as traditional or not as famous food that lets you discover new recipes with gusto.
The only criticism is that some of the staff must get some pep talk in the beginning of the day "listen lads today you need to sell this cocktail or that drink" and they then try too hard to have you order x or y.
I'll be coming back. Reliable.
First tapa-style Italian place Ive been to - and it makes perfect sense. No longer need to dwell on the eternal dilemma of whether to settle for pasta, rissotto, pizza or a meat dish - you can have them all at Tozi. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable and has a contemporary rustic feel to it. The small pizza was amazing; it looked so adorable you could not have the heart to it. The baby chicken was also good and the accompanying gravy was rich and hearty. Summer salad was very refreshing and the big truffle risotto plate at the end was simply sensational. The four of us dug in and absolutely loved it. I just wished they had more pizza and pasta options in the menu as it seemed too crammed with appetizer dishes instead. Finished it off with a delightful almond mille feuille. Will definitely come again. £40 a person.
An Italian joint that isn’t just pizza and pasta, Tozi is another one of those to join the ranks of the small plates trend. You can barely fall over in London now without landing nose-first into a small plates sort of restaurant, Bocca Di Lupo is one that immediately springs to mind that does the Italian sharing concept oh so well, but there are so so many more to choose from.
After a six hour lunch / drinks with old friends, this is a wonderful meeting place. Very spacious, great service, interesting menu with small but high quality tapas style sharing portions. As always the bar bill can add considerable cost to the final bill but you certainly get what you pay for in a very relaxing restaurant close to Victoria Station.
My friend Gina always discovers some of the best spots in London for a good meal and in the last couple of years we have been dining out together to try out some of these spots of good food. Usually, given our heritage, we go for Italian. Tozi in Victoria does not disappoint and is fairly authentic.
True Italian restaurant. We had a selection of starters and a main each. Everything was very good, and the price is reasonable. Location is pretty.
A couple weeks back I went to TOZI an Italian tapas restaurant in Victoria. Venetian concept with modern look, great service, and interesting menu. We went for a bit of everything in the menu...
nice food and superb service. we had different share plates and a main per person. a bit expensive but quite normal for london. drinks are made with inventive and with high quality of alcohol. I would recommend it.
A truly nice experience. Went with two friends on a Saturday evening, booked in advance ( imperative to do so since the place is usually packed with people waiting outside). Staff is peppy and chatty, food is absolutely first class and true Italian from many different regions. It’s missing the 5 stars for a few main flaws in my opinion: the portions are tiny even for a gourmet restaurant (and ridiculously small for an Italian restaurant), this means one needs to order multiple portions of the same dish. This means the bill is hefty in any case even if you don’t order the extra portions. This almost makes it not great in terms of value for money. In the end we all felt we had eaten well but something was missing. The venue could not be better also, it’s quiet but not silent with just the right amount of light.
In summary I would recommend this restaurant if you like genuine Italian food and need a very nice and relaxing ambiance.
Organised a birthday dinner for a friend and had the set menu which did not disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant is cosy and intimate and the dishes were generous and delicious. Our personal favourite was the truffle ravioli!
Really enjoyable meal. I turned up with no reservation and even though they couldn’t seat me in the restaurant they were able to seat me at the bar. Really helpful staff who explained the menu. It’s tapas style and I had three plates, all excellent, I would recommend.
Great food very good quality stefano and Angela were very welcoming and the suggest us a good selection of food and a fine white vermentino.
highly recommended
We had a lovely evening here. The staff were excellent and the food was beautiful. Lots of small plates for sharing and tasting different things. Loved it.
Before I write anything else know this - the Tiramisu here is absolutely sublime, the best I've ever had. Most of the menu is small plates then a few bigger sharing plates. We got one sharing plate of cured meats and cheese, and then 4 small plates which seemed the perfect amount if you're hungry for dinner. Both desserts were great, but the Tiramisu was a definite highlight. On top of all that there is a nice cocktail menu and incredibly friendly staff. Very much recommended!
Had a lovely dinner at Tozi, service was impeccable (probably one of the best we had in London) and food was really good. We ordered 6 plates for 2 people and I think it was the right quantity. The only dish we could skip in the future was the calamari- all others were really good. We also loved their pistachio tiramisu. Overall, strongly recommend Tozi as a nice dining spot near Victoria station. We ended up spending 65£ per person so it’s not cheap but it’s worth it.
We had a great lunch with a friend at TOZI. I’m Italian and I’m very critical of Italian restaurants in UK but in this case I loved everything of this restaurant. From the welcoming atmosphere, to the lovely waitress being very attentive, to the amazing food. There’s plenty of choice for pescatarians like me. I’ll definitely come back.
Have to say, having stayed at the hotel for a week, wasn't expecting much from Tozi give the less than average breakfast but I have to admit that their food is better than expected beyond that.
Fully recommend the aubergine pharma which was great and prompted me to take the photo despite having dug in already. Apols for the gruesome sight...
Absolutely amazing the food was delicious and the service was excellent, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
