Hidden gem!
My partner and I visited Little Bay for lunch and I was surprised at the decor as well as the menu prices. The items are cheaper before 7pm so we decided to make it a 3 course lunch. The decor is very eclectic and there are booths for a couple and groups all over the restaurant which would look even more amazing in the evening under candlelight.

For starters we ordered crab profiteroles and Parsons Pastry. The portion size of both dishes were adequate but have to admit my partners choice of the pastry with chicken and crème fraîche filling was much more flavourful.

For the mains, we ordered the Duck two ways and chicken stuffed with spinach and mozzarella. My dish of chicken was a little too pink for me but the wait staff quickly sent it back for further cooking and apologised. The Duck was flavourful and presented really well. We also received complimentary side dish of vegetables with our mains which we appreciated.

Lastly, we had to try the apple pie with custard and ice-cream. It was delicious! Enough to be devoured between us two with hot custard, warm pie and cold vanilla ice cream on top.

Definitely will be back again soon to try more!

We discovered this place whilst walking past on evening and was surprised at the menu choices and its low costs. The décor confirmed to us that we had to try this place so we decided to book this place for a pre valentines evening dinner. The staff were really friendly and we could easily call and book. Our table was by the door under another set of tables it was a great little booth which kept it nice and cosy (the only irritating thing was the constant closing and opening of the door but it was still nice to have our own bit). As we arrived prior to 7pm we had the choices from the menu at the lower price. My partner had the soup and veggie wellington whilst I opted for the crab profiteroles and lamb steak and trimmings. I was delighted by the portion size as my profiteroles were very large and contained a significant amount crab filling. My lamb was cooked just as I liked it and my partners veggie wellington was presented professionally too. The only issue I had was with my food was I found it to be slightly bland. I fully intend on visiting again to try other items from the menu as my partners dishes were great.

I would describe this place as having 'a little bit of everything' and everything they do, they do well. The decor is quirky and interesting with raised platforms with tables in a tent attached to the restaurant. The service quick and polite and all the dishes I have tried have been great. Better than that, the prices are good and this place is somewhat unknown in the area. A must if you are around Kilburn.

Love it. I love it. I was there almost 7 years ago and lost track of the address and name. I was so happy when I moved around the area and found it again. To my surpeise my memories didn't lie and everything was as I remmebered, delicious food, nice environment and very good service. I've been there with many different friends and all of them thought the same.

I have been to little bay many times and love the food and atmosphere. Great for romantic meals by candlelight. Book a booth and be surprised by the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices.

This creates a very chic boudoir atmosphere which is very distinctive and immensely charming dining environment. The Kilburn branch also has very cute little galleries where you can eat overlooking the diners below, very ornate! Would I Want Seconds? Yes! The same dish over and over again please - it is that good. The food at Little Bay is fresh, tasty and wholesome. There do not make an unnecessary amount of fuss, instead the focus is on the flavour, which is intensely good. My favourite dish is their Risotto with Shitaki Mushrooms, Red Peppers and an amazing secret sauce. For dessert their white chocolate and

When you come across a restaurant by accident because you're in the area and the menu looks interesting and 'almost too good to be true' cheap, you just have to give it a go.

What a stonkingly good idea it turned out to be. Firstly, the utterly charming setting. Tables on various levels made this bistro charmant a delight to take in. Small, intimate and friendly, I could already sense from the fare coming out that we were in for something very good.

Sipping a very reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc, I was heartened at the small size of the menu choices. I decided to have the thinly sliced duck breast in sweet soy with rocket and my companion the Parson's pastry, smoked chicken and mushrooms in filo pastry with sour cream. The duck was rich, thinly sliced and perfectly cooked and the sweet soy just lifted it beautifully. The filo was crisp, golden and encased was a moist and tender chicken filling.

The star of the show, however, was yet to come. The chicken stuffed with minted, minced lamb on a bed of mash with a red wine jus was gobsmackingly good. It looked fantastic to boot. Unctuous, bursting with flavour, it came with a bucket of shining sauce. Glorious.

My companion chose to have another starter instead of a main - the asparagus with lemon hollondaise and parmesan. Whilst the asparagus was perfectly al dente, she could barely discern the hollondaise which was a bit of a disappointment.

Although I didn't have room for any dessert, I had to take a picture of the profiteroles which, judging by the number of times they were coming out of the kitchen, were extremely popular.

They looked stunning.

At this point I have to mention the staff. Polite, charming and very willing to please. A bit of a rarity these days and it always enhances the experience.

The whole thing, with four glasses of wine came to £28. If we'd opted for the two course lunch wihich looked perfectly fine, it would have cost us the princly sum of £7.70 for two courses. Astonisgingly good value for money, it's hard to come across anywhere in the North West of London that is this good and this competetive on price.

Little Bay - Big Find. Bravo to them.

I love Little Bay restaurant, it's definitely one of the best restaurants in the area! Consistently great dishes at a bargain price.

The venue has soft warm lighting, with a candle on every table. The interior is probably unlike anywhere you've seen before. There are three rooms: the main entrance, the extension and then the basement. The top two rooms have a unique decor of bunkbed-style seating, with tiered cosy booths. They're decorated with a mismatch of old masters artwork and egyptian figures.

The food here is excellent, and if you come during their 'happy hour' you can get a three course meal at a ridiculously cheap price.

Starters for example are only £2.55 before 7pm, and the portions are large. Order the steamed mussels and you'll be treated to far more mussels than you could've imagined! The profiteroles with crab meat are my favourite, the ginger and crab filling is just so good. Little Bay has a special orange sauce as well that they seem to put on everything. I don"t know what it is but it works!

I also like the salmon cake and braised pig's cheeks. One of the photos featured is of the tasty baked field mushrooms.

All of the mains are wonderful (I've come here a number of times!). I particularly like the Belsize chicken, it's really juicy and flavoursome with the sauce. The lamb dishes are also quite a good shout.

If you have room (and you probably won't), then finish off with an equally delightful dessert. I'm a fan of the classic apple tart.

Overall Little Bay is such a great find, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. The service is good, and the only thing that tends to confuse me a bit here is why they never serve plates with the fresh bread rolls at the start. But that's just nit-picking...

Love this place! The staff were friendly from the moment we got in. The food was amazing and really reasonably priced. The decor is really quirky and unusual - it made for great conversation. We sat on one of the higher up tables and it was a little wobbly at times which had me worried but no one else seemed to mind! I don't think this place is very good for wheelchair users or anyone who struggles with steps though as a lot of the seating and the toilets are downstairs. Otherwise great night !

Someone call the police: this is criminally good value for money. If you’re a fan of a quirky interior look no further than this restaurant. It’s candle lit and quirky with buckets of atmosphere. The food is tasty, uncomplicated and the service is charming and faultless. I had the vegan option, stuffed peppers topped with vegan mozzarella. My father had the beef goulash and we both wiped our plates clean. The wine washed everything down very well and was a lovely Italian red, we had cheesecake for desert and polished that off swiftly too. I only wish we didn’t live on the other side of London, but next time we’re in the area we will be back for sure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my crab cakes and lamb steak. Cool atmosphere! You can hide in the basement where there are really intimate and cozy tables hiding underground or climb up into the bunk tables! Peer at the peasants below as you enjoy your tasty meals. Just don't bump your head.

Amazing food, banging cocktails, cosy ambience, super nice staff. Will definitely go back to this little gem in Kilburn off the beaten tracks. Leave space for the desert, the profiteroles with banana mousse and chocolate sauce are heavenly. Great place for a relaxed and casual dinner.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit here a few times now and bring family on occasion too! One of my favourite restaurants in London. The atmosphere is always great, as is the service and the food. Would always advise pre-booking especially if you want one of the high seated booths over looking the restaurant. Lovely wee restaurant!

Amazing service, food and staff. The value is incredible and the 3 course deal is by far the best in the area. It’s hard to come by great customer service, in such a busy environment, but this place has nailed it, not only with a smile but a fantastic atmosphere. The meal sizes are great. Will be back for sure. To the gent who served myself and my family, thank you very much, everyone was overwhelmed by the service.

Little Bay surpassed our expectations for a Christmas meal. Three courses in this small French restaurant only amounted to < £20! A generous portion of mussels in wine kickstarted my dinner. Fresh and coated in the delicious sauce. The duck two-ways won over a traditional turkey. One in a pastry and the other on its own. Both very tender with a flaky outer. Only the parfait for dessert was a notch lower to the rest. If you’re seeking a friendly welcome, enough options for everyone and value for money - this is it.

Wonderful portion size, good selection of food but a bit limited on vegetarian dishes. Very good pricing. You get a lot for your money. The customer service was excellent. Very unique restaurant with a authentic feel and creative booth. The crab cake thing was delicious.

Wonderful place. Good food. The sautéed portobello mushroom starter was a very pleasant surprise, didn’t expect it to be that delicious. The staff is also really nice. We asked to move to a table that is underneath the bunk (really cozy and romantic) and the staff was very nice and helpful. Really impressed! A diamond in the neighborhood.

We loved everything about this restaurant. The decor is amazing. The food was sensational, the duck and pork cheeks were sublime. The price is very good. Will 100% be back again soon.
