Le Beaujolais - London - Photo album

Found by complete accident, but we'll glad that we did. The host was more than happy to find room for us on a busy Saturday night. A vast selection of wines from France but a little disappointed not more French beers available rather than Stella!!! Food menu upstairs was well priced and good basic
They say you should never go back. Over 30 years ago, when a young graduate, Le Beaujolais used to be our regular meeting place. Today I decided to engage in nostalgia whilst in London, and we came back to find that the place has hardly changed, a small haven of France in Central London. The food wa
A quaint and quirky French wine bar that I would definitely recommend. The staff are friendly, there is a decent wine selection as well as other options if you still wish to visit London's oldest French wine bar but wine isn't your thing. The food is rustic yet tasty and a decent portion. The toulo
Fab place, very personable staff and owner. Don't often say this but it made a memory for me in all aspects of the experience. It is so nice to find a place that is authentic and so individual. Food was good and well priced. Every member of the staff smiled and it was clear that as well as bein
I love Le Beaujolais. Great food, great wine, and brilliant service. The cheese board is as good as anything I have tried
Very authentic French bar (not the Club of the same name below - which is Incredible!). Had several carafe's of house white which was decent and great value. Regular haunt for me and will be back soon for food and wine - definitely worth a visit.
Ok, i am French and i tend to avoid French restaurants abroad, as they usually turn into touristic traps. This one is not! The food was tasty and the wine went down like a charm. Discussing with the owner for a moment made me realise that it is definitely a place i could call home!
Such a gem. Tucked a few blocks from Trafalgar Square, its a great place for a delicious Parisian lunch/dinner. I really loved their carpaccio and frites!
My nostalgic fleeting visit to the old 'Winkles Wine Bar' taken over by Joel from Louis in the 70's to 80's was a real treat; fabulous buzz and a genuineness and sense if fierce French independent hospitality was so much fun and a delightful change to the usual 'dry' corporate hospitality vibe ever-
Very nice vibe, a bit too small not that much space to seat and a bit expensive. Make sure to turn up sooner rather than later. Otherwise you won’t be able to get a space at the bar. The staff is French so it makes it more traditional
Was looking for a bite to eat and a drink before heading home. Found Le Beaujolais and gave it a try. Had very nice rillettes with frites and a good glass of wine. Busy, but friendly and helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Fair prices for the West End. Genuinely French. Will definitely visit ag
Very quirky place with excellent wine selection. They have their own branded house red wine which was pretty good, but quite light (in case you like more full bodied reds). We also had a dinner there which was very hearty with big portions. I really recommend the beef dish and the fish pie, both wer
Nice place. Wine selection wasn’t my favourite and it was pretty pricey. Staff were fantastic though. No complaints there 🙂
Tired of pub food and fish n chips in London, this place makes you feel like you're in Paris. Note many things on the menu aren't available until 6:00pm. But the food is authentic and reasonably priced
Wonderful service. Lovely food. This is what a proper neighborhood restaurant should be in every sense. I will be back.
An author friend recommended this place to me while I was visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine and French cheese sandwich! Great surroundings, delightful staff, and food & drink worth coming back to again.
My new second home, my kind of place where you can get lost in that small place, bursting with character yet serves delicious freshly made french classics. Had the skirt steak, with fritters of course and green beans, all in butter as expected. The steak was devine, rare and chooye as expected, grea
By far the best restaurant we found in Paris. The food was magnificent and the service was exceptional!!! Will come back
