A great burger spot in Clapham, if you are looking to get away from the usual mass produced fare. Oh yes - they also did salads.
The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. There were several vegetarian options available.

Had the pleasure enjoying another burger a the the Clapham branch. The team was warm and welcoming even accommodating us being 30 minutes late for a reservation. The atmosphere was nice dark light burger chain really helps set the mood. The burgers where perfectly presented. Mine was a bit over but the rest of the table was fine. The portion size was good and food served hot. Overall was Worthing going and a place I would visit again.

Food was great and service even better!
They respected my wishes regarding my stomach intolerance and that is not something all stores do.
In the end they give a treat with the bill of chocolate smarties!
I am impressed! One of the best in Clapham and I will definitely be coming again!
Update: this restaurant is now my favorite in London! I am a regular and love the atmosphere, the service and the food is high stabdards as usually!
George, the Manager is awesome with everyone and should be a true example to all managers in the industry! The difference he made to this place since he arrived is obvious!
Amazing service and smiles also from Powell! He's great!
Thank you Hache! 😍

George served me he was new there and was really the reason I came in, with a huge smile and the banter and jokes to make me want to test my curiosity.
I ate the kale Caesar with king prawns and it was amazing. The candied almonds are phenomenal, my friend had the tumeric chips (which need to be eaten with the dip for the full flavour) with a vanilla milkshake which she said was really good.
George your amazing keep being you and I would definitely go back to try a burger cause they looked amazing.

Absolutely amazing experience and amazing food and service. I highly recommend this burger place. Both the decor of the restaurant, the food and the service was amazing. I was served yesterday by a very attentive and kind girl with dark brown and blonde hair named Diana, made sure everything was perfect. Her attentive and excellent service combined with the amazing mouth watering food made me want to go again. Extremely quick and attentive service and recommended to try the Canadien - it did not fail to impress. Thank you to the whole team and especially to the waitress who put a smile on my face. Definitely recommend and definitely going again!

I've lived in the area for 2 years now and Hache is my go to deliveroo. I went to the restaurant for the first time last week when my friends were visiting. We enjoyed it so much we went back again before they left. Cecelia (Ceecee? ) was absolutely brilliant, what a gem really. Burgers cooked perfectly, buns are fresh, fries perfect and don't get me started on the aoli dips. I had the tuna salad the 2nd time and it was delicious - cooked perfectly, beautiful flavour combinations with the chosen leaves, vinaigrette and pistachio crust. My friend is very particular about food and requested a few changes which were accommodated for with any issue. The two guys that looked after us the 2nd time were fantastic too. Great place, food and attentive team. Thank you guys!

Stunning burger, I've never had anything like it. We had a smokey burger each which was served in a smoke filled glass dome. When the waitress revealed our burgers we were treated with a waft of beautifully scented smoke. The whole experience was lovely and I'll definitely come back again.

Yesterday was yummy as usual and the service was warm and professional. Our waitress even made an effort to speak French when she heard my friend and I talking. Delivered by deliveroo or eaten directly at the restaurant, I just love the quality of their burger. Tasty sauce, good bun, favorite rosemary chips, all great.

Vegan burger was really good. Not what I'm used to ... But it was a really nice surprise! The staff was very friendly. The place (and lighting) were very soothing. Would've loved if the fries came with the burger rather than ordering it separately though, but other than that would def. recommend!

Nipped in for a quick burger before the cinema at 17:15 on a Friday and were the only ones there for a while. Really friendly service in a nice restaurant and with a large menu to choose from. Burgers were excellent, as was the thick milkshakes.

Dope. I like this place due to the variety and each one I have tried I have enjoyed. These are no nonsense burgers made well! They accommodate very well for groups.

Enjoyed the experience and atmosphere but limited gluten free options. What I did eat read lovely though.

Amazing service, amazing food great atmosphere and super friendly staff. I started off with Miso Prawns and they were perfect. I would recommend the Vegan Burgers, personalised by Chef Neil Rankin. The ‘Symple Le Fume’ was one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever tried.

Amazing service soon as I stepped in the door and got even better as the night progressed. Lively atmosphere, lovely selection of starters and wine. Mains were amazing I would recommend the Southern Belle. Definitely can't express how great the staff were.

You can’t go wrong at Haché burger. Everything is amazing. This time I tried the truffle steak burger and it was by far one of the best burgers i’ve ever had. The caramelized onions and the cheese were added in perfect proportion. I wish I could have this burger every day.
TheSavoringChef
Our usually lunch place post a hangover. I have never actually had the mains here because of being too hungover, however the cheese frites here(my usual order) are amazing. But the best thing has to be the Oreo and Nutella shake which they make fresh as per your request.
Fare Comment
I was told by a fellow-chef at Recipease that the burgers at Haché were amazing and I had to go. So I went. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There wasn’t enough char or grease or mouthwatering burger goodness, and the bun was dry. She was plenty pink inside, but that ain’t no good if the flavour isn’t there. Sigh.

Amongst the popular gourmet burger scene in London, Hache is fast becoming top of my list and branches are opening across the capital. After seeing good reviews on Instagram I decided it was the perfect place to take my dad, and as a burger lover he too was impressed by what they had to offer. Hache restaurants provide an intimate yet trendy and social atmosphere.

Very impressed! Welcoming despite arriving late on a Sat night. Food, atmosphere & service all very good. Chicken Club quite filling, Lamb Moroccan had a lot of flavour. Would definitely eat there again!

Despite having a local branch, it took several rave reviews and personal recommendations, before I finally decided to give Haché a try. You have the choice between the Haché Scotch Beef, Signature, Lamb and Chicken Burgers, or the Sirloin steak, as well as fish and vegetarian options. The beef steak burgers are cooked medium well as standard, and you have the choice between a Ciabatta or Brioche bun, these may be substituted for salad if you’re in the wrong place healthy. I ordered the Steak Mexican Burger with the Brioche Bun and a side of fries, refusing to go with the status quo I requested my burger medium rare , and for starters I opted for the Hot ‘N’ Spicy Chicken Wings , with a glass of Malbec to compliment my main. So what did I think? My burger was ah-may-zing ! It was a perfectly cooked medium rare, and the Brioche bun complimented the burger in ways that I imagine the Ciabatta wouldn’t. The salsa, guacamole and sour cream were served separately to the burger whic

Allow me to get straight to the point...the burger was ah-may-zing (I had to use phonetics for emphasis)! The burger was a perfect medium rare; there's nothing worse than under/overcooked meat, and the Brioche bun complimented the burger nicely in ways that I imagine the Ciabatta wouldn't.

Haché, Clapham opened in 2012 and joins the current stable of four restaurants, the other three located in Fulham, Camden and Shoreditch. These really are 'posh' burgers, there is a strong emphasis on steak mince provenance, in fact every burger's name begins with "Steak". Quite different in style to last year's "dirty burger" trend; there is no industrial style, stripped wood and bare light bulb decor, no dark, cavernous atmosphere with thumping music just white tables and walls bearing glowing pink fairy light blossoms. Yes you did read that right; pink, flower fairy lights. Wouldn't get those at MeatMission would you? The same pink blossoms are also found on the website along with some rather fetching little flickering stars. We're definitely not talking testosterone central here; they even offer vegetarian burgers. That says a lot.

There's just something about a burger that makes it so damn good; maybe it's the feeling of comfort after consuming one or maybe it's because I'm just so damn lazy, having a meal all in one hand is the very definition of efficiency. Whatever it is, it has got me hook, line and sinker and no matter the menu, I am always on the lookout for the burger option to at least consider it first. So imagine my delight when I'm presented with a menu that not only has burgers as an option, but is basically the only option. This was the scenario I was presented with at Hache Burgers.

From their humble beginnings as a small local burger joint in Camden, Hache has built a reputation for serving amazing burgers made with quality ingredients since 2004, picking up a multitude of awards and plaudits along the way. They really were a pioneer of the London burger scene I know and love today, recognising that the burger was so much more than just a slab of mince in a bun. Expansion was inevitable and openings in Chelsea, Clapham and Shoreditch bring us to the Hache family we know today. Tonight I was at the Clapham location to get my burger fix.

The menu read like a burger-lover's dream with no less than a choice of 9 steak burgers in addition to a variety of other options including lamb and chicken. But as a purist, it was always going to be beef. And as a peanut butter lover also, it was always going to be the Steak Louisiana - how can a burger which included American crunchy peanut butter and mature cheddar not be good?

And tucking into my burger, that's exactly what it was - good. There is nothing I can fault the burger on and in general terms, it was a solid burger. The beef in the patty was ground course which made it rough but was cooked a beautiful medium-raw to eliminate any danger of it being too dry. You could definitely taste the peanut butter element and it worked well in the burger. But coming away, nothing else was particularly memorial about it. Rounding out the meal were sides of potato wedges and sweet potato fries which once again were both solid.

It could be that my expectations had been built up by all the positive press around Hache that I was expecting to be blown away but just didn't or, it could be that the burger game has elevated to such a level that what used to differentiate Hache has now become the norm. Would I go back? Yes I would but it won't be my first choice.

Also follow me on Twitter @annixontong and @wetrykai and on Instagram @annixontong.
Gimme Burger
My friends had told me plenty of positive things about this restaurant so I finally made a visit one lunch time during the week with 2 companions. We're all meat eaters so all went for their burgers, made from 'Scotch beef steak', although if you are so inclined there are other options available, including something called a 'salad'. They ordered the 'Steak Milano' (medium - well done) topped with buffalo mozzarella, Parmasan shavings and a sundried tomato sauce and a 'Steak Catalan' (rare) with chorizo, chilli and tomato jam whilst I went for the 'Steak Louisiana' (medium - rare) topped with cheddar cheese, crunchy peanut butter and added sweet cure bacon and avocado. The beef was cooked as we'd ordered - I normally order steak rare but I prefer my burgers to have slightly longer on the grill. Everything was accompanied by onion rings and potato wedges.

I have to say this is the best burger I have ever eaten, and even tops my tried and trusted Byron burger! You can really taste the difference with the quality of the beef and the addition of peanut butter turns it into an extraordinary taste experience. Each bite brought with it taste convulsions in my mouth! The wedges were good, as were the onion rings although in this department Byron scores higher as their batter is better seasoned and crunchier.

For dessert I went for the banoffie pie and this finished the meal off perfectly. The biscuit base was golden and crunchy, the toffee gooey, sticky goodness and the cream had generous chunks of banana inside. This was accompanied by a fresh strawberry and a drizzle of chocolate sauce - mmmm!

Next stop on the burger tour is Meat Liquor but for now there is a new burger king in town. All hail King Hache!

I am a huge burger fan and I kept hearing from friends that this place has one of the best burgers in town. I was very excited to finally go to Hache and expected an outstanding burger. I have to say I wasn't all that impressed. I got a lamb burger, it wasn't bad, but nothing special at all.

The interior is very average but the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is probably worth a visit if your in Clapham, but I wouldn't recommend anyone coming from outside Clapham really.
