I have great respect for Italy’s gastronomic culture. Their regional cuisine genuinely drive great fascination and the greatest of chefs still worship their mothers. It’s familiar, familial, and full of heart. Something you definitely share with people to have good conversations about. When A suggested we catch up for brunch at Berardi’s in Marylebone, I was quite curious. Italian food isn’t something I’d pick particularly for that time of day, but I’ve heard nice things. Admittedly, mostly about aesthetics and their ‘grammable plates, but I was keen to try the food.

I went to this place last Friday and loved it. Not very far from the Marble Arch station this place is amazing to grab after work drinks ( happy Hours on weekdays till 630 PM ) My friend and I grabbed a table outside and gulped down our Aperol Spritzs

I can't wait to go back and looks like I will be frequenting this place quite often :)

My brunch at Bernardi's was really good, had a brioche bun with fennel sausage, fontina and poached egg (original version has it with a fried egg but I'm a poached egg addict!) out of the brunch options I think I went for the best one, considering that the other plates looked quite small. Overall was a good brunch and lovely atmosphere!

Bernardi's is a slick-looking restaurant with a good menu. Service was a bit slow, which I didn't mind so much only because it was Sunday brunch..

I had the French toast which was well presented but lacking in flavour. In general the dishes all looked good but I don't think there's anything stand-out about this restaurant.

With so many clever concept restaurants popping up in London, sometimes I just love going to a restaurant that serves classic food cooked simply. As someone who frequently chooses restaurants on the basis of their Instagram feed, Bernardi’s caught my eye and I loved the fact that they buck the latest trends and just serve good Italian food made from the finest produce.Like the menu, the restaurant decor is classic, with dark wood floors, black leather chairs and marble topped tables. The location is also great, in Seymour Street near Marble Arch and Marylebone, it’s very central and perfect for shopping, or finding a wine bar after dinner.

I’ve recently discovered a secret pocket of Marylebone oozing with amazing little restaurants. It’s called Seymour Place, and I’d never heard of it until the developers got in touch to tell me about a new Italian restaurant in the area, Bernardi’s, which turned out to be so good I went twice in as many weeks.

Recommended by my hotel concierge; gotta be good! The menu provides quite a variety of pizzas, pastas and antipasti. Food quality did not disappoint, only lacking some sauces. I know sauces sometimes dun do chefs justice … but was hankering after something more spicy like tabasco with the pasta. Ambience was casual but a tad noisy for a private get together. Otherwise quite a gem of a place.

As soon as you enter you feel a very friendly atmosphere from the staff members ! We got assisted very quickly (we made a reservation in advance) our table was lovely by the window! We started our dinner with gin and tonic and of course continued with aperol spritz ,We wanted to do a sharing dinner so we order the arancini , mortadella pizza crab linguine and the ravioli with greens inside! No words !! The flavour was definitely there and we had an absolutely amazing experience !! The desserts were delicious lemon tart and tiramisu to die for and last but not least a limoncello to help us digest 😂 We have visited The Italian Greyhound a couple of times and we will continue to visit them.

I visited The Italian Greyhound after exactly a year and the service has gone down a lot. The food is decent but the staff isn’t super attentive right from the booking to serving. I requested something as part of my booking from open table and tried calling restaurant to ensure it’s available but no one answers the phone and when I arrived for dinner nothing was arranged per my request. The menu is decent for food with lots of vegetarian options and drinks are nice.

We chose the Italian Greyhound for our wedding reception, everything was absolutely delicious! Our guests were very impressed by the quality and taste of the dishes we selected. We had a great time drinking and dancing in the garden room, the staff was lovely and professional as well. Special thanks to Frankie who helped us with everything xx

Incredible wedding venue! Incredible food (the pizza was lush) They treated me so good and I was just the photographer for a happy couple who got married at Marylebone town hall earlier that day- then on to the Italian greyhound for dinner and speeches!

Strongly recommend this place. Had the Focaccia and Prosciutto & Pecorino for starter. Dazzling combination. Recommend the Tagliette as a main course. Great combination of Spicy Ragu and Italian Pasta. The Amalfi Lemon cake was really tasteful. My dad found the Lemon flavour intense and exquisite.
