I had an overall positive experience at this restaurant
I booked a table, although wasn’t very necessary as it wasn’t very busy on a Wednesday evening as imagined
We were seated immediately obviously and the ambience of the restaurant was quite nice. Music playing in the background, jazz club vibe
I would recommend going on a Saturday night though as they have live jazz on those nights
In terms of the food I was very pleased with my main. I ordered the Creole Bean Burger which came with French Fries. It had vegan cheese and mayo inside it. The mayo was lovely
Bean Burgers are generally very delicious and this did not disappoint
As a side dish I shared some padron peppers which I didn’t really like and only had a couple of
This was down to personal taste and not a restaurant fault
Staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. They also had a chilled aura which was refreshing
I would have given 5 stars but I found for vegans the options were very limited, although the one option available is very lovely

love a wing and i've sampled the red dog's , orange buffalo and these come out on top.Big and meaty , crispy and tangy.They tick every box.Lovely st louis cut ribs and beef short rib washed down with long island iced tea.Lovely friendly efficient staff.Great night.Can;t wait to go back.

For the food, it is not bad at all, i’ve tried the bacon cheeseburger and it was enough satisfying. And the music is really good btw, it’s a place where you can eat drink and dance happily! I really recommend it! It has AWESOME events!

Hello Foodies. This is the place. I stop buy The Blues Kitchen for a dinner for two. And it was amazing the place is simply great (although it could have a little more Light) the staff is really friendly and helpful (specially if you are struggling with a selfie) and the Food, OMG. The Food is AMAZING, I went for the ribs, it was monday so they have a specially Price for it (only 10£) it was a lot of meat and it was just perfect. (I'm craving those ribs just by writing this). Please come to this place you won't regret it. Keep on biting. ;)
Couldn't be better! Two live shows every night with amazing artists, from Jazz to Blues. The food is very very tasty and a good price-quality relation. I just absolutely loved this place!!!

Amazing menu with a good selection and variety.
Some very quirky dishes and the portion size is very generous.
Staff on the whole are very friendly, attentive and professional.
The atmosphere is lively - not a place for a quiet meal in the evening as its a bar too and gets very busy. Food does maintain its high quality during these times though, but obviously as its a bar the music is loud so it's hard to have a conversation. So not the best place for a long awaited catch up or a first date. Makes it a very good place for a drink though, or a good place to fill up and get some pre drinks before a night out.
I've gone here for breakfast (served from 10am) twice in one weekend - it is that good. The pancakes are perfect, better than most places I've visited! They also have a healthy option but not one which will leave you starving, it involves a corn fritter, poached eggs, kale and avocado which is extremely tasty.
There is also street parking just behind the restaurant which is handy, but remember its pay and display all week, including Sunday so check signs.
Overall, I really love this place. I think prices are reasonable and the food is always good quality and tasty.
Impeccable food and service, American dining at it's best. The portions are massive so we only go on a friday evening if we want lots of meat, chips and more meat. the grills and burgers are awesome.

If you want to go to a bar as locals in London, this's the right place! We had really enjoyed our time and live jazz music at the Blues Kitchen. Coctails are also so delicious!

Having said that, if you must have BBQ with all the fixins, Blues Kitchen in Camden is the place to be to get all messy with it. It is prolly the best you're going to find in town.
There are a number of places folks will recommend to you. I know, because I have eaten at them, and like it or not they put some sort of twist on it that takes it to places it should never have been.
BBQ is all about low and slow, not just tossing stuff on a grill whether it be propane or charcoal.
And I heartily recommend the Camden location over the Shoreditch, by leaps and bounds.
Great ribs. Went here with a large group of people and had delicious ribs. Seriously delicious. I can't comment on the service, however, as I wasn't paying attention!

They do great junk/comfort food here. Try the Chicken Nachoes (more like baby tacos) and spinach dip, and ribs. So, soo good. I just wish they did takeaway!
Excellent bourbon Great blues. A nice bar for a casual meal with friends. Happened to go there on Sunday, they had the blues jam with a lot of new artists, very easy listening and perfect Sunday for a Sunday evening. Twas a great way to start my 31st year! The bourbons took us in to the night, their selection is really good. A great birthday, soulful and cool.
Blues in London. One of the best places to listen to the blues in London, this part bar, part dining room has some great bands playing during the week. From the times that I've been there they try to mix it up with the crowd pleaser variety & some authentic blues, which makes an interesting combination - always likeable & never a dull moment. The bar is stocked with some of the best whiskey's & the cocktails too are worth a mention. A great bar in London for an after work tipple or a relaxed Sunday noon.
Who is the Chef!. OMG!!! Last night I went to The Blues Kitchen cos my friends, who visited last week, told me about their amazing food experience and insisted I come and check it out with them I was totally blown away by the food. The flavours were spot on, I have tried this style of food in other eateries around London and I have to say this is the best on offer this side of the Atlantic!! Whoever the chef is, you have my utmost admiration. Your Barbecue Ribs are to die for, and the Gumbo is out of this world!!!! One of my friends had the Steak Po' Boy and another the Belly Pork dish with spicy beans. All I can see is 'Wow' I have visited New Orleans a number of times and am a true fan of Cajun/Creole food and I have to say this is one of the tastiest meals I had in a long time!! What a fantastic experience...... thank you.
The Blues Kitchen is a fun place to grab some American food for dinner, and they have a huge choice of cocktails you can wash it down with. Their sweet potato fries are delicious – as are their bourbon based cocktails. They also accept tastecards, but be prepared to spend any savings you make on food on more cocktails – one is never enough when they taste as good as they do. The Blues Kitchen is in Camden (North London), and they have live music playing several nights of the week. It can get pretty loud so go earlier rather than later if you want to get a good chat in with your dinner dates. I might be wrong (we tried a few different drinks that night) but I think the image below is of bourbon, soda and lime. Which is delicious. I have had several nights out end up in this venue and it always proved a great night. They do live music nights that are really good and after that the dj plays till late. I did notice that it was mainly guys in there after hours but they were more or less friendly and it's easy to talk to people and chat. If you do decide to visit during the day to grab some lunch, the food is pretty good. Try the Californian burger and the pulled pork in the brioche bun. There is also a good selection of beers for you to sample.
Honestly I've just been there for a beer, but I must say that the environment is great and the live music shows are amazing as well. The only problem is that the space is to small for all the clients.
This one is a lovely place to hang out with friends and let your hair down. It is a typical American Diner but with a wide range of options on the menu. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is quite modern and chilling. The service is efficient but it can be slow in the busy hours which is quite normal. The staff is warm and friendly and seems to enjoy their work. Overall it is a wonderful experience and would love to come back again here.
I have visited this place several times in the past, and I have always been impressed by my meals. This place has a lovely atmosphere, and a nice and well-groomed staff. Moreover, the food tastes delicious. I ordered the pulled por roll, and it was truly a blessing for the taste buds. It is advisable to book in advance, and this place comes highly recommended from my side.
I, along with a group of my friends visited this place on a Saturday and I must say it was a pretty bad choice. The place was fully packed and one must make a reservation before going there. We didn't make any reservation and had to pay the price for it. The food smelt amazing and the atmosphere was also a relaxed one. I would definitely return to this place.
I wanted to throw a private party and couldn't find a perfect place for it. Later I came across this place we were allotted the whole room in the basement. We were provided with a staff member who was managing the whole thing, from food to drinks, everything. The whole private party costed us nearly 1000 pounds which fairly good for a private party. The management was good enough and there was never a shortage of food. Although, they could probably improve upon the bar food menu. Otherwise, from the service to food to the music, everything was excellent. Strongly recommended.
I am definitely visiting this place again in the near future. Dropped by with a friend to grab a few drinks and I can say it with all honesty, that I loved every single minute of being here. From the music to the ambiance to the amazing service, everything was great. I surely recommend this place and I'm dropping by soon to try their food.
This place can be quite busy during dinner but is perfect for lunch or brunch or anytime during the middle of the day to be enjoyed thoroughly. The music played is quite relaxing and appropriate to the atmosphere and at just the right volume. We were seated at once on arriving despite being 30 minutes early and offered drinks. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food arrived just on time and was very delectable!
The place offers amazing barbecue food. The hot wings and the ribs are a must-try here. Even though we ordered a great amount of food, we managed to finish it all. There is also a stage area with a live-band playing, where we rolled ourselves after finishing our meal, and ended up dancing till we left.
I had a great meal after very long. I made a reservation before going because my friend told me that this place is always pretty busy. Staff was pretty great , they were always around whenever we needed them and the smile that they had on their faces was amazing.

I have had the best American food at this restaurant, much better than any of its competitors. The place is located at a great venue and provides a very casual and homely atmosphere. The chicken wings are a must-have here and so is the cheese burger. The cheese cake I had was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
This popular place is amazing because of it's awesome atmosphere and live music. But this in turns adds to the heavy footfalls on Sundays. Therefore to enjoy my delicious chilli and the jam session, i had booked a table in advance.
The menu is dominated with good old fashioned American BBQ. The alligator special was also quite interesting.

The restaurant is particularly famous for the various sources of entertainment on offer form live music to stand up comedy gigs. the music is always great.The food is also pretty decent.

I suggest venturing to this place with an empty stomach as the food is out of the world. My personal favorites were the pulled pork sandwiches and the burnt ends. I must say, they are among the best dishes I have sampled. The service was beyond a doubt amazing. Very tough to find fault with this joint.
The first time I visited this place, I did not like it much. However, I returned and that was one of my very good decisions. You will find the perfect food here if you are looking for some junk or comforting food items. This place is great and plays some amazing live music every weekend. And gets really crowded therefore, so you have to book in advance to get a table. The food is amazing too, fer the american style kitchen, offers a good variety of burgers you can dig into.
The Blues Kitchen serves classic American food. Nothing on the menu is at all original but the burgers are approximately the size of your head, the onion rings perfectly crunchy and the mac and cheese heart-warmingly good. And if that wasn't enough, the chicken wings have just the right combination of heat and spice.
The live music adds to the buzzy atmosphere and only encourages you to get more and more cocktails. In fact, if you book a late table (say around 10pm), you can keep the it for table service cocktails until 3am. Winning. All. Round.
Blues Kitchen is an amazing venue for life performances located in Camden Town area close to Camden Town tube staion. It is an American based Burger Style Restaurant and Live Perforamnce Bar as well.
I can recommend to try the Bacon Cheeseburger, the Searfood Jumbalamaya or the Short Beef Ribs. Great meals which I highly recommend!
The venue is more than cozy and offers you feeling the real spirit of the Jazz, Blues style and Country music! great venue!
Good ambiance and live music

Mixed audience, many eating and looked like they were enjoying it.
I enjoyed it.. was really nice to spend some time there. A friend of mine had a bacon cheeseburger while I was drinking. He said it was really nice. I had a beer but I should say that I would have tried a burger.

It’s pricey but the atmosphere especially when there is live music.
Blues and soul food go together like peanut butter and jam, both complimenting eachother to the point where youre in a different territory. This place is ideal for a small group to order a heck load of wings, drink some beers and be loud over the table.
It's not gourmet but when the blues kitchen is placed in Camden it works so well, Camden isnt gourmet. I head home from NW1its normally drenched in beer , full and slightly deaf. These are my favourite points of the Blues Kitchen.
It would be nicer to have a greater selection of beer although you probably should be sipping whiskey. It's normally busy so either book a table or avoid peak times.

What an adventure this place really sets for you.
I have been here twice now and every time leaves me craving for more!
The first time we came here it was for a birthday/leaving party so we had a group of 5 and pre-booked the table with only some of us eating.
Food- Let me tell you the food here is to die for! i cant get enough of the wings or the spinach and artichoke dip and the people that came here with me still talk about the food to this day! its always 'Oh we gotta go back for the dip' or 'i wish they did take out'. The presentation of everything here is a added bonus that also keeps you smiling and again wanting to come back for more.
Drinks- Obviously this place is known for its wide range of whiskey but the selection is amazing, they also do a little map of Kentucky with shots of whiskey! The drinks albeit pricey were strong enough to keep you going and to keep you racking up the bill. A lot of the cocktails have signature glasses so each one is like something new for your eyes to feast on. They seem to have something for everyone and even with non-whiskey drinkers at the table people where happy with the choices.
We did as it was a birthday get some cake and surprise the birthday girl which the waiter helped us with a lot as she kept disappearing into the band area, so we really had him working for his 12.5%, but he was nothing but on point with his service with out being over bearing and annoying.
As the night progresses the dim lighting in the bar can make it a bit annoying to see the menu especially if you have already had a few to many, but you can always get out your phone to light up the menu. This place i swear is ALWAYS busy so make sure if you want to go here that you make a reservation!
Now i will say a heavy night out here will hurt the bank a little bit but when ever i have come here i never regret it the next day. there is a 12.5% Gratuity already added onto the bill but with the night we had we gave our waiter a bit more.
Overall i always have a good experience even if my bank account cries a little bit the next day, and it has become the place my group of friends is always talking about non-stop, Just remember to book or you WILL be turned away if its too busy.

I've been here twice now before attending gigs at Koko, but only to eat once. Certainly worth noting if you're heading there too. This second time I was feeling slightly under the weather so perhaps haven't done it justice by only rating the chicken. Nevertheless we had two chicken dishes, one a salad that did greens a fine service on a menu of grilled meats, the other, a fried chicken plate, that was hit and miss. The salad had a weighty combo of leaves, chicken, avocado and bacon with a lovely maple glaze to finish it off. The fried chicken had a delectable batter, but it coated fairly boney cuts of meat that look bigger than their bite. Still a nice meal and venue, but would love to come back for some ribs and live blues tunes.

Cue the dramatic theatrical stage music, and gleaming spotlights. The monstrous dino ribs come at a staggering 21-inch and 2.5 kg.
The ribs are marinated in their own special BBQ sauce recipe, and are left over night for about 12 hours so it can soak up the marinade. It is then slow cooked for 12-14 hours.
The dino ribs are not for the faint hearted, and for serious eaters and need to be ordered 3 days in advanced.
My Monday dinner crew returned to our first ever destination, the Blue’s Kitchen. Celebrating 3 people’s birthdays. We may have had a party of 10-12 people with 4 dino ribs between us, but we struggled to ever finish one between four and had to take it home.
Ripping off the ribs from the flesh, it fell off with ease. Succulent, juicy and very tender the meat had the perfect amount of seasoning. It had just the right balance with enough flavoring.
Defiantly worth trying for your greedy meat fest needs, I think one rib was around £20 each plus 2 sides.
Great place for a late night! Music is always fantastic although it sometimes takes ages to get served. Try the vermouth; don't even bother asking for a vodka mixer!
Went over on a lovely Saturday afternoon, the sun was peeking out and we had just finished a bit of shopping at the colorful Camden market. From the outside the blues kitchen looks a bit run down, but on closer inspection you will notice its an effort to look that way - reminds me of an old Aerosmith statement - " it's costs a lot of money to look this cheap!"
We loved the interiors, the huge bar, interesting chandeliers, and eclectic wall props. We had the Blues Kitchen Chill and some breakfast eggs. Both were made to perfection. The chilli was simply yum, would have liked it a little spicier but nothing to complain about.

Another one of my favorites in Camden, I go there only for their live music and everything else comes afterwards. They usually have guest bands to kick-off the evening and then the house band takes over at midnight, They sometimes play till wee hours of the morning.. the place packed by 11pm so if you want to be up close to the band try to enter by 10:30..You'll find a mix of young and not so young crowd letting their hair down.As the evening progresses the crowd goes berserk and the music only gets louder.
The food is hearty American stuff with big portions, given the simplistic menu there is a no chance of messing it up. The place has these booths that one can reserve for having sit-down meals but who wants to sit down when the atmosphere is so charged? I say stand up and be counted!!
The Blues Kitchen always puts a smile on my face and is a great place to spend the evening. Spacious venue, excellently prepared food and funky live music. The people who play here have been professional and skillful every time I have listened to them, the only problem really is that they are surrounded by so many people making it impossible to see let alone dance. I suggest you try the cajun blackened shrimp followed by the sirloin steak. It is a family friendly place early in the evening, but definitely has everything needed for those willing to have a drink and a good time as the night wears on.

One of the best places in London. I’ve been to their late night sets in Shoreditch and have done dinner here in Camden and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the food as it’s fresh and takes flavor to a new interpretation. I’m an American living in London and took my parents here and they were incredibly impressed with the food. I can not overstate how fresh the breaded chicken was and how good all of the food was. The service was great as well. So friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back and bringing more people to try this spot.
I’ve been to the Camden Blues Kitchen a few times now and every visit has been amazing! The food was incredible, a great range of options for pescatarians too, drinks were just as good especially the Rai Tye cocktail. But the best thing is the live music, I can’t wait to go back.
Visited here for brunch and was really impressed with both the friendliness of the staff and the selection available. The smoked salmon with eggs was an excellent way to start the day.

Came to town for a concert and it was a really nice chill spot with wonderful music. The food was lovely and the service was really good. Definitely coming back for their buffalo wings. They also have a really cool Photo Booth you could try ✨
A great establishment on Camden High Street. More a restaurant/diner than a pub but it says this on the tin! Clearly well loved as indicated by the lively people digging into their southern USA comfort food. Not a place for the real ale bar expedition, no cask ales. Still, a lovely place with a vibrant friendly atmosphere.
I recommend to book/reserve a table ahead so you don't have to gamble.
Today, it opens 12nn and we arrived there 12:43pm with a thought that it will not be busy because it was just open less than hour ago.. and we're wrong. Its already busy and almost full. Luckily they managed to get a table for us.

Very nice retro-blues themed restaurant in Camden. Went with two others and we enjoyed the £12 all-you-can eat within 90 mins buffalo spice chicken wings deal..quite a mouthful😋. Service was professional and friendly too. Will definitely recommend.

Popped in for some lunch and omg the brisket sandwich was to die for. So many flavours that complimented each other so well. The service was great and will definitely be going back, to see what else they have to offer.
A fantastic place. The ambient is amazing and its food does not stay behind! Tasty and big hamburgers and their ribs are just exquisite! The meat itself it melts in your mouth, and its flavour its really good. It have a large collection of beers to try too!

Having seen Blues Kitchen advertising their wings I wanted to try them out. I ordered wings, mac and cheese and salad.
Mac and cheese and salad was delicious but disappointed with the wings which I felt were dry. Was expecting them to be fall off the bone juicy.
Our server was lovely and helped with our orders and selection our cocktails. I wanted a pina colada but they had run out of the ingredients. I decided to try an expresso martini which I didnt like.
Not sure I would come back. A bit too noisy for me when I wanted to talk to my friend but glad to experience it.
Came here for the first time and the food and service were amazing. For the price and quality I really recommend. We were served by Janine and her service and hospitality were faultless. Such a positive vibe even when it was such a muggy day. She listened closely as I have a few allergies. Took them into account and made suggestions of what to try from the menu. Amazing service from her. Highly recommend!
Loved it! The food is delicious, especially the pork ribs. The service was great. Even if the place is busy most of the time, the staff went above and beyond to find us a table. There is also a bar available to just have a drink. Totally recommend it!
Very enjoyable venue. Had a great evening and it was definitely a nice change from the usual bars and chart music that plagues most venues.
The live music is extremely enjoyable (on my particular evening it was a mix of rock and blues/jazz) and the artists have a good connection with the crowd - the energy was great.
There is an upstairs area but I stayed downstairs the entire time so I have no idea how that is. The downstairs has a very long bar area and plenty of seating too. I was never waiting for long before being served. The combination of dancing area and seating area is great.
The only frustration is that the smoking area is on the street and we aren't able to bring drinks outside. Otherwise, highly recommend the venue.
