Agra Restaurant - London - Photo album

I am writing this review while eating the foods. Because this restaurant deserves a 5 star review. The fodds are amazing. I am from sri lanka and I know how Indian foods taste like. And the foods from this restaurant is really really amazing. If you want to go to a fancy restaurant this is not fir y
Last time I was here was about 19 years ago, was good then and is still good now! A little background music would be nice but it's perfectly fine because the staff were very warm and welcoming! 10/10 for the service. Food was very good. There is nothing flashy about this place but it's good, honest,
Back at Agra now in 2023. First time was in 2016. Still one of the best indian places in London. Going easy on the tummy with a butter chicken.
Small family run Indian restaurant. We went there twice during our stay because the curry's we tried were really flavourful! Not too expensive for London either. With a large group inside it can be very noisy though.
I discovered this place 7 or 8 years ago and have been back numerous times, with various friends and colleagues all of whom loved the Agra too. The people are so warm and friendly, and the food is consistently exceptional. I love the ambience of the Agra too - understated but with an incredible hi
One of the best Indian restaurants in Central London. Their chappati is awesome, just like from home. In the time I spent in London, I dined here at least on alternate days. Tried a lot of their dishes. Great food and great service. Mohammed Taj was very very helpful and I thank him for this! Highl
Lovely curry restaurant. The chicken balti was delicious, although a little hotter than I was expecting. Naan bread, poppadoms and onion bahji delicious too. Good service, homely atmosphere.
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. The owners are kind. Family run and good people. Hidden gem in plain site.
Hidden gem - incredible food and amazing service. Best Indian food I’ve ever had. I wish I lived nearby - I’d be back in a heartbeat!
The place really feels like family restaurant and hence the service is good. Though, there is a very tiny selection of vegetarian options. I ordered Saag Paneer and it was just okay (not amazing). I feel like this place have a potential though.
I have been regularly dining at Agra. I must say that the owner is a very friendly person. He is kind and always ensures that I am looked after. He has a sense of customer service. The other staff working there ( a lady) lacks this sense of customer service. She is not interested in taking orders
Very good food, in business from 1954, Be careful with chiken Madras, pretty spicy but excellent dish.
Go where the locals go! Agra is a hidden gem, loved by locals for serving up great dishes! Recommend the Puri, Jalfreezi and a friendly chat with Taj, the owner. Great for walk ins.
I enjoyed the rogan josh curry with some rice and papadum. The place is a hit among the locals.
I went with my office colleague who discovered this place on Google. As we sat in the place for 10 minutes we realized it was pretty old place established in 1954. Famous Indian actors of the 60-70s had visited the place. Since the place involves a bit of walking from the busy street it is cheaper c
Really cosy restaurant. Nice workers and authentic Indian food.
Best north Indian food. Oldest in London since 1952! And Mohammad Ali ate here...that's great!
So happy we stumbled across this place! Food was delicious and staff and atmosphere were so warm and inviting!
