The Quilon Restaurant - London - Photo album

Lovely dinner experience with great service and delicious Indian cuisine. We stumbled on this restaurant by researching our hotel (Conrad St. James) that we stayed nearby. It so happens that a reservation was available for our final night in the city and we're so glad we decided to dine herem The am
It is a Michelin star restaurant. So it is British version of authentic south indian food. Still I found it good for non Indians to start exploring cuisine just to get the feel of it.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant. This is one of the very few Indian restaurants you’re fine that is a Michelin star take on South Indian cuisine from the state of Kerala. Many of the dishes I’ve enjoyed eating at home was presented here in a refined, upscale manner full of f
Got lucky, booked this place last min. They specialise in South Indian seafood, We got the seafood taster menu. They altered their taster menu for us a little bit which was really nice of them. Service was excellent. Staff very friendly. Food was delightful. This place does live up To it’s Michelin
Was good food, unique style and presentation. Sambar came in a little cocktail glass, unique. Saat, a South Indian chaat with fried little idli’s. Had a thaali which was decent, but normal presentation. Overall neat place. Service was lacking. Staff wasn’t able to understand me fully or my questio
Celebrated my birthday here and truly fantastic experience. I did come here for a full foodie tasting experience many years before but this time I was so happy to come with my husband. The prawn curry was absolutely sublime and we were very impressed by the exceptional service. The papadams weee ser
We were greeted well, with the waitress taking our coats and showing us to our reserved table. My family and I got the vegetarian taster menu and a few cocktails. The food is very low risk with basic tastes. Hardly any spice and even dishes where you may feel they could make it more sour or add a ta
Restaurant: Great ambience, clean toilets. Service: exceptionally good service. Food: portions are small for the price. The complimentary papad and rasam were really good and adds that surprise package to what restaurant has to offer. Starters: mini masala Dosa was good. It was just decent Dosa.
The Beer and Curry tasting menu was incredible. Beautifully presented courses that tasted even better. Very good value as well.
Quilon has a lot going for it - a Michelin star, great service, excellent food that allows its patrons to explore novel dishes that draw inspiration from coastal south Indian cuisine. However, the only reason I'm docking a star is that this place needs a bit of an overhaul. The ambience feels dated
High end innovative and unusual Indian cuisine. Staff is very courteous and friendly, the atmosphere is elegant, and the food very good. We tried the sampler and had a very good experience. The prawns were excellent and the baked bass was super. Overall a great memorable, evening.
We came here for the Christmas' Eve to drink something. I had a frozen mango margarita and my husband a qojito; both drinks were really amazing and the staff is very polite and nice. Update: Today we came for dinner. We had the seafood tasting menu and it was amazing. I asked for not so much spicy
I was really blown away — exquisite food, and truly excellent service. The rasam drink, crab cakes, paratha and laventini cocktail stuck out in particular. I highly recommend Quilon, and will return. In photos: the fruit salad and laventini cocktail
Food was good but what was exceptional was how caring my waitress was about my gluten intolerance. She was so kind and attentive and took care of everything. Such a wonderful experience from that perspective. Never felt like a pain
only after experiencing the dinner, one realises what it takes to get a Michelin Star. great improvisation of Indian West Costal menu. great presentation, great service.
Food was great! Service was really good as pur server picked vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for us for our courses and they all turned out to be really good. I feel the ambiance could be better for a high end restaurant like Quilon. Would go there again for the food.
Happened upon this place while walking around London and decided to stop in for dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the jackfruit biryani as well as the starter of chutneys and sauces. Dinner was excellent.
Wow! Visiting Americans with not much access to Indian food in the States. What a treat! Had the tasting menu with my family and from start to finish, great food, great service. Highly recommended
