High-end Italian in great location with very tasty and well-presented dishes. Exceptional menu for anyone who enjoys seafood. Mussels, sea bass, cod, calamari, on menu all sounded amazing as did the specials. My ravioli with king prawns and sun-dried tomatoes was absolutely delicious. The waiters are attentive. The wine list is extensive.

It is worth going for special occasions.
I really enjoyed my girlfriend's gift.
She really wanted to bring me to this historical Italian restaurant.
Food is really good, also the wines.
The seabass properly cooked, so the pasta.
It's in a premium location so prices seem higher compared with other restaurants.
I also wanted to try a Selection Negroni Cocktail.
I could feel the ingredients quality and it was excellent, but maybe the price was slightly higher compared with London top cocktails bar (NightJar and A Bar With Shapes for a Name to provide an accurate reference)

Elegant and authentic Italian restaurant located on St Jermyn Street. Considered as one of London’s first Italian restaurants, Franco's was established in 1945 🍝
With the late October sun, we were lucky enough to be greeted with an alfresco table, which provided us with a vantage point of the lively Jermyn Street ☀️
The menu features a luxurious selection of clasic Italian dishes and something to suit everyone. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and explained each dish that was presented to us, which elevated our dining experience. 🍽
We had the pleasure of trying a range of dishes from the menu, which consisted of a Selection of cured meats, Fresh hand-picked crab, Poached veal fillet, and ended with a creamy luxurious Pappardelle with mixed mushrooms & black truffle 🤌🏻
Franco's offer an extensive drinks menu, comprising of Signature cocktails, liquers, classics, scotch, and much more. Not forgetting the impressive wine list, bound to please anyone 🍷
Non-alcoholic menu
Franco's have recently introduced a non-alcoholic menu, comprising of the finest natural ingredients to give you that 'feel good' sensation without the negative effects of alcohol. All the ingredients are designed to enhance your brain's natural GABA - thought to be the reason why alcohol is so popular.
We really enjoyed this concept and would love to see this in more restaurants! 🧡
Lastly, make sure you head to the loo before you leave.
On entering, instead of the usual background music, it had been brilliantly substituted with an audio recording of Winnie the Pooh & Paddington Bear, which I thought was the perfect touch to end our visit 🐻

One of the best pastas that I had in London but very pricy. We paid 130 pounds, just had pasta without starters or alcohol. I m not discussing their food quality or staff service that is 5 stars but we found too much.

We made reservations to dine here while on holiday. I ordered the octopus carpaccio, a rocket salad, and tagliatelle with mixed mushrooms and black truffle. The food was delicious! Service was also great!

Excellent restaurant if you are a cigar lover.
They have a very cigar friendly outdoor seating, as well as Davidoff is just right opposite.
Impeccable Italian food is served.

We were a group of four at dinner. The food was excellent and the wine list extensive. The sommelier was very helpful in choosing between a few I was thinking about. Excellent service and Dominic was a standout waiter. He managed a section of about 12 tables by himself and was always ahead of the game, a very impressive professional to watch.

Food was excellent, especially the pasta. Good value set menu for the coronation.

We had an amazing lunch here with friends. The staff were welcoming, friendly and engaging. The food and wine were wonderful. We had so many different things and everything was superb. The Wild Boar Strozzapretti, wow. Great wine list too. The Vin Santo and Pinot Neri Grappa were fantastic to end the meal.

Authentic Italian food and wine and excellent service.
There is an extra menu with vegetarian dishes.
The decor is stylish and clean.
Would come back anytime!
The spaghetti Cacio e Pepe are absolutely recommended.

Phenomenal chef making GREAT GREAT GREAT quality classic Italian dishes, in a way that tastes how your nonna would cook them, but presented how your hot girlfriend wears lingerie.
Not ruining the dishes with ‘fusion’ or a chef’s ego necessitating ‘twisting’ the dish. It’s straight down the line, delicious food. Great staff. Great experience.
£800 for 5 without drinks, so brace yourself there. But all good things come with a price.

Wonderful service and quality of food.Lovely to visit 'Francos', I have fond memories of when it was 'Frank's' back in the 80's. Will definitely be back again, when visiting London. Please pass our special thanks to our waitress, very attentive and with a young child as a guest, nothing was a problem to her. Well done.

High end Italian restaurant that caters mostly for old dudes in jumpers that talk about business. The food was excellent and the service attentive. They did forget one of our orders though and I was really really hoping for a little treat for my gf's birthday but alas. It wasn't to be
The set menu is probably the more affordable option unless you're used to paying 40+ for a main. (A little steep for me but the food was very high end and delicious)

Great traditional Italian dinner. Loved all dishes..a little tight to sit, but still enough room. Only a little draw back regarding service due to untrained service. Giovanni, head service, was great, also in service. Went for the menu.. didn't get disappointed.. but great to try new things.

It's a beautiful restaurant! Dishes executed with great care and beauty! For me they are real works of art! The staff is very professional, helpful, pleasant. It's one of those places where you never cease to be amazed! Everything is wonderful, beautiful to see and taste. I recommend everyone to come here, at least once in their life. Unforgettable experience! As well as all of his staff. Fabulous kitchen!❤️

Merkezi bir lokasyonda. Restoran oldukca buyuk. Is toplantilari icin uygun. Yemekleri lezzetli. Carpaccio secimlerini begendik. Fiyatlar ortalama seviyede diyebiliriz.

Service is excellent. Food is decent but too expensive. Maybe I am just unaccustomed to Mayfair prices.

There was some very nice complimentary pane carasau flavored with rosemary on the table. That is a paper thin Sardinian flatbread. We were provided with a little foccacio after ordering.

I started with steak tartar which was lean and had a nice texture. It lacked the punchiness of a French tartar which is flavored with chopped onion and capers. This one had the flavor palate of a carpaccio, being dressed only with vinaigrette and a quail yolk. You get the idea of how small the portion was when a single quail egg is enough to moisten the tartar. And that for £15. It came with a little watercress salad a few rounds of toast.

For my main I had the roast duck breast with lentils and polenta. I asked for the duck quite rare and it came rare-ish, but nicely cooked and rested. Skin not really crisp though. Lentils were overcooked. Everything a little under seasoned. Again, a small portion for £26. I tasted my companions' pastas. Maccaroni with rabbit ragout had virtually no sauce. The porcini and truffle risotto was very good.

A shared side of fried courgette for £6 was lovely. Finely julienned veg in a very light tempura batter.

London has such a plethora of options for every cuisine you could imagine, that sometimes it's nice to be able to rely on an old school classic. Take Italian food.... in the last few weeks I've written about three or four brand new Italian joints in London. And yes, they were all good, but do you know which was the most authentic and despite being the most expensive, actually the best value for money.... the most classic of them all - Franco's in Mayfair. A place I went with my Dad when he worked in the area and it seemed the most obvious place to meet. Franco's is 70 years old and oozes the classicness of somewhere with that heritage, which in the London restaurant scene is few and far between. But that's also what makes it fun. And reliable. You know what you're getting. Good, classic, Italian food made with the finest, freshest produce available. Which is exactly what we had. Due to it's location it is more of a weekday destination than a weekend one, but we went on Friday night and it was still buzzing. We cozied down in our table for two, facing the rest of the diners for added interest. We went for the traditional four courses - starter, pasta, fish and mains. And maybe snuck a pudding in there too cos when in Rome..... The whole menu is based around what is flown in from Italy that day so regularly changes, but keeps the favourites for those who love them. We started with the special of the day - poached lobster claw, and one of the classics, beetroot puree with steak tartare and quail's egg yolk. Both were absolutely perfect and a very good sign of things to come....

Good food, and menu. Professional service. Could improve on cleanliness, decor and update a little bit on the food presentation. Found very funny that on the toilets the sound system was passing Winnie the Pooh story's!;))

Love this restaurant. When my husband and I visit London, we always make our pilgrimage to Mayfair, F&M's first thing.
After a long day of stopping by our favorite Jermyn Street establishments we treat ourselves to Franco's for a romantic delicious Italian dinner for two. We highly recommend it.

Decidedly Average & Expensive. Booked for lunch during first week of December, having enjoyed a number of evening visits for dinner. Food was average but the whole experience was a major disappointment. The restaurant was crowded and overbooked. There was not enough room to sit comfortably at a table, without being constantly disturbed by the movements on the adjacent table. Service was indifferent and a little arrogant, not what you need when sitting in a cold draft and paying £190 for three, with a single bottle of wine!
