Williams Ale & Cider House - London - Photo album

Great burger and scotch egg. Traveled 20 minutes on the tube just for the cider and it was worth it. You can do small tastings of 3 for ale and cider.
Nice place but pricy. That's why 4 not 5. 3 dart boards in the back. The music is completely unsuitable for a pub that's why 3 for atmosphere.
Great food and drinks, amazing service and lovely atmosphere! We had visitors and wanted them to experience traditional English pub food and drinks. It worked out amazing and we spent a very lovely evening, would definitely come back again. Also, great location - next to Liverpool street station, so
Visited with my parents over the weekend! Nice pub and very friendly staff! Had the chicken roast dinner - lovely roast potatoes, mulled wine red cabbage was to die for, delicious kale! The chicken was a tad dry and the Yorkshire pud slightly over done. Had a dark chocolate brownie for dessert whi
We went to Williams for the cider and were not disappointed. These guys take their cider seriously and serve the real deal. To go with our cider, we ordered a Scottish egg and their fish & chips, which uses cider batter. Staff is very relaxed and helpful, and Williams has a warm atmosphere that real
Nice place with a good list of beer and well located (very close to Liverpool Street station). A couple of dart boards down the back are very entertaining too. Prices are a little punchy though (£8 a pint for some beers). Genuinely friendly bar staff
I was attracted by the cider tag. Good range of ciders at cellar temperatures so worth a visit. Updated. Quiet midday on a Monday but barman Tony made it a warm welcome.
Came in on Monday for a quick drink. Lovely little pub tucked away near Liverpool Street, atmosphere is great. Much better service than a lot of places, Zoe was really friendly and knows her beer! Definitely will be back, and highly recommend.
Update February 2023: Revisited this pub at a later hour during my next visit. This time, I was not so happy: The girl behind the bar knew nothing about the beers, wasn't terribly friendly either, and two of the four cask ales weren't available. Pity, my first impression had been so positive. So tha
Lovely staff and great selection of ales. I went on a Friday night and the place was clean (unlike other pubs in the area) and people were well mannered too
It was a really good fish and cider, the only reason for not having 5 stars in the food category was the lower quality chips.
Way above your average pub! Food: Every single dish I've tried has been absolutely amazing (scotch egg, Sunday roast, halloumi + pear salad, spinach & artichoke dip and crab cakes) Drinks: Great selection of crafted ales and cider, the best part is that you can order flights (3x1/3 pint) to try seve
What a gorgeous boozer, great craft beer and it’s got air-con! So much better than the other pubs near Liverpool Street.
Five points best bitter in good condition but the railway porter was in exceptional form, so creamy and dark chocolate flavours.
Lovely pub, lovely staff and a great choice of ciders. Very well priced. Don't miss this gem! Thank you!
A great night at the Williams’- Kudos to the management and staff for making this place one with a great atmosphere backed up by some great ale choices and bar snacks! See you soon!
