Chutney Mary - London - Photo album

A decent Indian cuisine fine dine place in the heart of London. Perfect for those special occasions that require well rounded dining experience including good “close to desi” food, “great” ambience and “decent” service. A little towards the dearer side, with an average vegetarian meal for 2 costing
Chutney Mary is a fine dine Indian restaurant. One has to make reservation beforehand. Walk-ins are perhaps not entertained. We went there for dinner and we were greeted and welcomed by their friendly staff, helped with our coats and escorted to the table. The serving staff was friendly, and recomme
This place is beautiful. It's in a fantastic location in the heart of one of London's most fashionable areas. It's dimensions are deceptive and theirs acres of space for a quiet business lunch or a big dinner party. The food is as you can imagine beautifully flavoured and presented. The only down s
Very fancy and luxurious place Staff were very friendly except the receptionist she was rude and unprofessional. I prefer you do an online booking rather than deal with her. We stayed at the bar side it was really awesome atmosphere. Portions quite small and expensive.
This restaurant is absolutely 5 star! Everything tasted delicious- we especially loved the boneless chicken wings and the venison somasas! This is definitely a special occasion restaurant as it can be very expensive. Highly recommend. @EatWithHanbe
It’s good… but the portions are a little small. This is an upscale Indian without being pretentious. Definitely a solid place for parties and large tables. The cocktails were only okay, and don’t bother with dessert.
Nice little place the food is below average honestly for all the hype. The waiter we had was pretty friendly and nice but the hostess was a bit aggressive might be his personality but for that type of job he needs to work on his friendliness. The food is way over priced for the quality and taste not
I really enjoyed it. The weekend brunch menu from 12-2:30 includes 2 courses for £39 or 3 courses for £45 which is amazing value for money. We were full from 2 courses. It says there is a dress code online and rules for dining, but they were very welcoming and relaxed at lunch. The service was ph
The food was very good and flavourful - we shared the scallops, prawn curry, lamb biryani and saag with paneer and garlic naan. The service was a slight let down given the calibre of restaurant as we had to flag down staff a number of times for their attention. It was my birthday so I did appreciate
We had the weekend brunch - 3 courses for £45 per person felt quite reasonable for fine dining in central London. The food was great and authentic, very close to what you’d expect in a great restaurant in india. We ordered the prawn curry and the Amritsari kulche which were both authentic and delici
Amazing food in a very chic and classy restaurant. Beautiful decor and atmosphere paired with excellent service from all the staff. Out waiter was Spectacular! His name is Roney Costa and I asked him to take a picture of us since we were celebrating our anniversary. At the end of our dinner he s
A very nice place, ambience was very good. Manoj, our server, was well versed in the menu, was able to give recommendations according to our requirements and ensured we were well looked after even though it was a busy night. The food was well flavoured and had an amazing taste. We had the tokri chat
It was my husband’s 30th birthday dinner, the staff gave us a lovely table in a semi private alcove and the service was wonderful! Food was delicious and had amazing flavour and presentation. The highlight was for sure the lobster and we loved their biryani! Staff were really friendly and warm - I l
This is probably one of the more beautiful Indian restaurants you’ll ever find as it is thoughtfully decorated and polished on the inside. This restaurant touts itself as a fusion restaurant so don’t expect the strong Indian flavors that you might find a more traditional restaurant. For example, we
The food was super delicious and the plates it came in were very authentic and nice. The atmosphere was also very nice as it was nicely lit with very pretty furnitures and decorations.
Chutney Mary in London is an exceptional restaurant that offers an authentic Indian cuisine experience. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service. The staff is remarkable, making sure that every detail is taken care of and ensuring a truly memorable din
Great food and great service. Staff are so helpful with the menu and suggestions for what to order. Expect to spend around 2 hours here. Old fashioned is really well made here. My favourites were scallops in mangalorian sauce and tandoori lobster.
Overall a very pleasant meal. Service veered from smiling and friendly to peremptory - depending which server you got. My prawn starter was lovely, as was my mixed grill. Papads were very bland, so would advise giving them a miss. Reasonable prices for location and quality of food.
