The Boot And Flogger - London - Photo album

Chicken breast were okay tender but could have been seasoned better. Portion was good. The squash soup was only average, not a big fan of the sour taste. Love the chocolate brownie, very dense and richšŸ˜ Service was really slow despite everything was pre-ordered (for group booking). But the staff wer
Ate here as a corporate evening meal out. Was fixed price per head meal but the options were delicious. I chose all the vegan options and they truly did not disappoint.
Only had wine but the place is an absolute gem and huge. Well worth a visit and they have an outside garden area at the back if you need nicotine. Show it some love & pay a visit. Just next to the renovated Redcross Paupers Cemetery (also worth a visit if you want to discover what a Winchester Goose
Really not what I was expecting. First impressions as I walked in was I've definitely booked the wrong place for a work meal, but the servers were amazing, really attentive and super friendly. The food was epic and the drinks selection was brilliant, they dont have beers in tap, but offer bottles
Wonderful experience - very traditional old English establishment we didnā€™t eat here so canā€™t judge the food
Couldnā€™t recommend enough for a work dinner/team social - the private room downstairs is great if you want your own space. The booking process and communication beforehand was excellent, the staff were very attentive and the whole evening well organised. The food also was delicious and tasted very f
Great place - really interesting and traditional interior. Excellent location but just slightly off the main road. Was here for a formal dinner so canā€™t comment on price but food was very good and service was excellent. Would go back again.
We only had wine and coffee after having dinner at another place but what a hidden gym this is. The service and atmosphere of this place is superb. Felt like gentlemenā€™s club in the best sense of that word. Will be exploring further.
A perfect little gem just moments from the busy Borough Market. Perfect quieter place, great service (Spanish waiter was super kind and sweet) and amazing food - highly recommend the Sunday roast. Canā€™t wait to be back.
Atmospheric and old worldly! This wine bar has retained a lot of its historical charm and feels like you're stepping into history. We were sat in the "cellar" section but didn't feel like we were completely isolated as staff were super friendly and attentive. A small selection of food but a wide sel
Went for a sponsored event that included the wines, and the experience was excellent, especially the food! The roast beef was perfectly cooked, and everything was of a high standard. Would definitely return!
Great wine bar not far from London Bridge. It's not rammed with office workers either, so quite a peaceful and spacious place. Great wood paneling decor inside, comfy leather chairs and reasonably priced.
TLDR: Sexy, London-old-skool, upper cut establishment where those in the know meet to talk at length over excellently selected wines and quail eggs šŸ·šŸ„€ I don't often give five stars... but this place is incredible. Excellent and attentive service... incredible wine selection... quiet, unknown, beaut
We went here last night and had a wonderful time! It's historic; even though this Davy's has been here just over 50 years there's been a food/tavern/inn type of establishment on the sight for almost a thousand years. The interior is really special; looks like it's not been updated since it began, s
Although we arrived towards the end of the day, I couldnā€™t have asked for any more from those serving us. Professional, friendly and informative. A bar steeped in history, the experience made only more memorable by the staff. My highest recommendation, what a hidden London gem!
A great Davy's wine bar with a changing seasonal menu and specials and an attentive, but not cringingly so staff. On a hot evening it was cool indoors. Very good selection, of course, of wines. Reasonably, for the area, priced.
Solid Sunday lunch, quite hidden away but the restaurant was rather empty! Despite this the food and service was good! Wines quite pricey.
A real, find, where a warm welcome awaits you. Excellent food with a wide selection of wines to choose from. The ambience of this wonderful establishment is truly remarkable. We look forward to returning. Continued success with all that you do.
