Amazing water. This Italian restaurant near Lambeth Bridge looks a little serious for the average diner walking in off the street, but the welcome is warm and gracious. Throughout my meal, in fact, the service was flawless -- effortlessly elegant. courteous, and prompt. Regarding the food: it sounds like a back-handed compliment, but the sparkling bottled water carried the meal. It was astonishingly good. So was the olive oil, which they serve with fresh bread - deep flavors, a hint of truffle. The maitre d' informed me that they get the water from a small private distributor in Italy. The olive oil, I think he said, was from the Lazio region. I ordered a risotto; he suggested a salad (not on the menu) to accompany it, since the risotto took 25 minutes to make. Hm, maybe I should've read between the lines. The salad was a perfect combination of fresh tart greens, lightly dressed. Clearly their purveyors are first rate. However, the risotto, which made its appearance earlier than expected - something that seldom bodes well - was bland and disappointing. Five slivers of overcooked asparagus in the spring does not a spring risotto make. Great on color, though - the chef doesn't skimp on the saffron. I decided to stop my meal there, since (with a glass of wine) I was already in for 30 pounds. All in all I like this restaurant (especially the water! . . . and the waiters) but feel I paid a bit too much for it. Were I to return, I'd ask the maitre' d for recommendations, and I'd be sure go when I was feeling very hungry and flush, and willing to order several dishes.

Osteria dell' Angolo, a smart Italian restaurant located in Westminster, offers regional cuisine in a classic manor with a modern twist.
Visited the Osteria Dell'Angolo for the third time, after its holiday closure and menu change. First couple of visits led us to believe we might have found an exceptional restaurant, especially the meal on our second visit. Not the case however as this visit showed. We had a rather boring amuse-bouche and a couple of quite bland dishes, based on this it does look like the Osteria has lost its wow factor.
So, we've done Zucca, we've done Trullo. Each, in their own way, brilliant crowd- (and critic-) pleasing local Italian restaurants that punch well above their weight for their price point and together form almost a statement of intent regarding the direct
We were not wrong in choosing this wonderful place to dine. Upon arrival the staff is very nice and smiling, they gave us a table near the kitchen so we had the kitchen in the foreground, once we ordered our starters and main, they sent us bread and some appetizers that were very tasty, the appetizers are exquisite and not to mention the main course, excellent textures, everything well done, good presentation, the service is top! Excellent place to go for dinner with your friends or partner. (the desserts are great, do not leave without trying one) we will definitely return! 👍
This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The food was fresh and very nicely cooked. The presentation of all the dishes was good, the portions generous and the flavours were not juxtaposed or overpowering. It was simple good food nicely presented. The staff were attentive without being overwhelming. The place is comfortable, clean and not too noisy. This restaurant was a nice little find.
Excellent restaurant to go for dinner. Good service and great flavor in the recipes. Awarded with michelin stars. Located in the heart of london, near house of parliament. Babies are welcome. recommended 100%
Good food with slow service. The vibes of the place are cosy and comfortable but the service is not warm. We had to ask for our bill twice when we were ready to go after our plates had already been collected. Dishes average £20.
We went for lunch. The food was very good. I felt the waitstaff was a bit impatient that we lingered to order our mains, but in all quite good.
I had a lunch here with a friend the restaurant is very nice and well decorated.
te service attentive and not much intrusive.
the food is just super italian food .
Great food, nice Osteria and very good wine list!
Service was excellent, food was very tasty.
Recommend reserving a table in advance.
Good selection of wine and beverages.
My fiancé and I went tonight and had a really beautiful meal, with great service and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. We felt very welcome and at ease to be ourselves, which is sadly a rare experience in London restaurants. We'll certainly be coming back, it was just what we were hoping for.
Excellent food and service, quiet and a good wine list. With a better choice of vegetarian dishes I'd have given it a 5 star rating. I booked it on open table and put 'birthday' as the occasion. This resulted in the biscotti in the photo which was a nice touch.
We came in for lunch with the family. Service was terrific and food was great.
Everything Here is Just perfect!!!🤗🤗 Incredibly delicious food and very friendly staff!! I just love it! They made my Birthday weekend in London even better!! ❤️✨✨❤️🎂
