Delightful little restaurant on a pretty Hampstead street. Onion soup was flavourful, but not too heavy to have as a starter. Melon and Parma ham was fresh. Lamb and confit duck were both flavourful, coming in decent portions that were neither too small to be left hungry or too large to be uncomfort

Adjacent to The Flask pub La Cage Imaginaire has been a local favourite for decades. The charming owners have been providing a really good menu at consistently good value in its cosy atmosphere. A neighbourhood favourite and a part of Hampstead's history and character.
Excellent food and wine, and the staff were very kind. Although We had to sit outside the restaurant managed to offer a pleasant evening. We will visit again.
