Delightful little restaurant on a pretty Hampstead street. Onion soup was flavourful, but not too heavy to have as a starter. Melon and Parma ham was fresh. Adjacent to The Flask pub La Cage Imaginaire has been a local favourite for decades. The charming owners have been providing a really good menu at consistently good value in its cosy atmosphere. A neighbourhood favourite and a part of Hampstead's history and character.
Excellent food and wine, and the staff were very kind. Although We had to sit outside the restaurant managed to offer a pleasant evening. We will visit again.

I always feel this is a hidden delight in Hampstead which more people should know about.I visit here whenever the opportunity arises and am constantly surprised that it is not always full of customers when it a pleasant restaurant and the food is both excellent value and a delight to eat.High prices
