What a perfect way to end the working week but to go out for lunch at a supreme restaurant right near Liverpool St Station.
The Botanist has a few restaurants dotted around London and the rest of England. The menu items are inspired by the deli, rotisserie and BBQ world.
There was a group of us who ordered a selection of dishes which included beef burgers and fries. I went for the most delicious salmon salad which included feta cheese and Kale. All the flavours really worked. The food all came out together and in good time. Carlo was our waiter and he is such an asset to the restaurant, he was very bubbly and attentive. Absolutely wonderful place for a top notch meal and wonderful service!!
Have come here for drinks a few times.
Last time I was there I ordered a champagne cocktail and it was so awful- flat and just not tasty with whatever was in it.
I went back to the bar man and he was so kind and served us some normal champagnes free of charge.
I really appreciated how kind he was about it and that there was no huffing and puffing about it!
Friday night at The Botanist will deliver a fun vibe for sure; With comfortable booths to dine in, great tasting food and wine and a delightful ambience, it wont disappoint!

When I visited London this time, I made sure to try Gin and then my cousin took me to this amazing place. I had this innovative cocktail called Garden Sling that's prepared with Hendrick's Gin, elderflower cordial, apple juice & soda. It was so refreshing. Also, we had yummy Peppers, French Fries and Hummus and bread along with some chilled beer. And, their hospitality was as good as the food. Thumbs up! 🤗
Much like my fellow Buncher Vicky and her visit to Ho Modern Vietnamese, I too need to confess to cheating on the Boozy Bunch at a boozy brunch without them (*gasp*). I’d like to think of it as giving the place a test run though!. The place in question was one of the several interesting new openings on Broadgate Circle: The Botanist. I’d thought it was a gin bar from the name but it’s actually part bar, mostly restaurant (and I’m told also a club downstairs?!). It looks fairly unappealing on a weekday, forcing you to wade through hordes of city-workers drinking outside, but on a sunny Saturday when the City’s deserted it’s far more welcoming.
Came here on a Friday evening after work. Was really crowded and bar service was quick non the less and we were offered a table. Bar snacks were also served pretty quickly. Drinks are reasonably priced and it's a great after work summer hand out. The music inside is a bit too loud but great atmosphere non the less!!
Well well well - Broadgate Circle is becoming the new City Hub. Based at the back of Liverpool Street Station (obviously the Broadgate Circle exit!) lies a circle of bars and restaurants. I visited the Botanist last night and it was heaving! On a mild evening with such atmosphere and lighting I could have been abroad. Decent sized bar inside but I made the most of the evening outside with a couple of vinos.
Enjoyed a relaxing pint before boarding the train from Liverpool Street station.
The music was a little loud, but the sitting arrangements outside were suitable on Saturday afternoon. The place must definitely be packed on a weekday.
Service was good. The bartender was more than happy to let me try my choice of drink before ordering. Thank you !!!
What a fabulous bottomless brunch I had today. I highly recommend.
We were 3 friends, enjoying the great atmosphere created by Nicoló Great Manager. Good skills. And lots of knowledge, and super smile, he had been such a Super Star. .
Great service also from Restaurant staff. Very polite and friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious! Fast service too.
My friends left happier. We will definitely come back..
Keep going like that guys. You are amazing.
This is my favourite pub in London—primarily because it is also one of the best patios in London. When Broadgate Circle gets packed with the after-work crowd, there is no better place, especially on a sunny day. I like the beers on tap and the interior as well.
Had a really good girls bottomless brunch. The food was spectacular. Staff were friendly and didn’t make you feel like an inconvenience. Tia was always there before we needed a new drink and super friendly!
Order drinks at the bar for expedience.
During weekend much quieter and more space to enjoy if weather is good.
During the week packed by City workers.
Usual drinks.
It's kept nice and clean, so come back here often when need a convenient place to meet around Liverpool Street Station.
A nice place with a great atmosphere and great 2000s music! It’s quite noise though and waiters may not hear your order correctly
We had a lovely time with Chiara serving us, she did an absolutely brilliant job! Although the food was not to our taste, we couldn't fault the service or drinks on our bottomless brunch!
Great for bottomless brunch. However they dont ask for your drink straight away. So you don't get the full 2 hours as they say. But lovely service from Justina. Food was great. Stew on small side but everything else was great.
Service was impeccable. Shout out to Lucy for being so attentive and making sure our drinks were full at all times for bottomless brunch. Food was delicious, atmosphere was perfectly vibey with a surprise live singer who was amazing!
Amazing place, food is amazing. Had the bottomless meal. Staff was lovely great place to enjoy a fantastic meal. Beautiful Decor. See how much prosecco you can drink in 2 hours. Loved that pipe work in the toilets. 😂 Great Birthday Celebrations.
