Today I ate the 25 pound promotion for a Sunday Roast and a glass of wine, the portion is smaller than many I've eaten, but it had a very good difference in that it was a big, thick beef and not just a thin piece of roast beef. Pleasant service and atmosphere.

The staff at The Potting Shed were kind enough to accommodate us for an afternoon tea session at last minute. Amazing afternoon tea on a Wednesday. I recommend booking a table or else you'll wait a few minutes to get it prepared (near 15). We were still gladly welcomed and enjoyed the calm. Thank you very much!

Went for the set menu, and it’s really good value. Great cosy restaurant under a hotel. Slight let down was service isn’t as attentive and I found the squid a little fishy. Ask for the set menu, as it’s really good value compared to the ala crate.
