After being away from the UK for 4 years, my biggest craving was from a proper full English. Glad to report that the craving has been well and truly sated. After some research, I came across the Finchley Kitchen, and the moment I stepped in, I knew I had chosen well. I wasn't messing around, so opted for the Monster with a mug of English breakfast tea. All i need to say is that everything on the plate was perfect. The service was charming and the decor as well. I will be back the next time I'm in London.

Really delicious burgers. Amazing garlic fries. Friendly service. I feel a lot of places these days focus on aesthetics first and food second so it was refreshing to visit a place that had its priority on how good things actually taste for once!
Good portion size, the burrito was good. The lady was very warm and friendly. It's definitely worth trying. Has a vegetarian and vegan menu too.
Eating in or home delivery we enjoy Finchley Kitchen regularly. We always have a good chat and catch up with the lovely owners before enjoying our meals when we eat in.

Was greeted with so much warmth ๐ loved the food! Great value for money. The portions were very generous & i loved that it really tasted like actual homemade food. Everything in the burger tasted very fresh. Will be back again!
My partner and I love going to Finchley Kitchen for good value, tasty tex-mex, pancakes or burgers. We live locally and have been going there for several years. It's so great to have a relaxed, local independent restaurant to enjoy.

Please support this fantastic independent cafe. They are really struggling with all the higher energy costs.. if this place was 400m further up the high street they would be packed..
Unfortunately people are lazy and prefer going into the easiest closest place on their route from the tube station generally a corporate โ๏ธ ๐
Please take an extra few mins walk down the road..you'll be richley rewarded with great food, wonderful stories and learn things you never knew.

It's next to a bus stop for goodness sake. Plan an extra bit of time on your bus journey and have a meal there while you wait. ๐

The place is small and its simple looks betray how lovely it really is. It has a rich menu with some very appetising options (many for vegetarians as well), good cooking, and warm, friendly - albeit a little slow - service. It's like a successful marriage between home cooking and a diner experience.
Lovely service by a women who was running the shop. I ordered the burrito, thinking it was going to be standard food but I was mistaken. Firstly the portion was very generous and usually when a portion is generous the quality of food tends to lack however the food was sublime. I will be sure to come back soon!
Go here occasionally, it's the best burger in Finchley central. The husband and wife team are fine, the wife is friendly dealing with customers and the husband gets on with the cooking and probably does't want to talk. You get a very large portion of fries/chips if ordered.
Turkish-speaking couple cooking up Mexican food in an American-styled diner to the sound of West African music in Finchley Church End? It works! The food was simple but well-prepared, the portions were generous, and the service was warm and welcoming. This place deserves a repeat visit.
