This is what I call the biggest Sunday discover of the last couple of months.
Amazing Turkish bar-cafe-restaurant, with a very healthy menu and great choices.
I went today for a brunch and I tried the Mediterranean breakfast. It was very delicious!
After that I tried the carrot cake and I realized they do everything very well.
The prices are really cheap, the staff is friendly and nice.
A little gem in the heart of Stratford!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This absolute treasure is the gem of Stratford town centre. The atmosphere is wonderful, I sat down and was instantly transported to the Mediterranean! I felt so at home with the family spirit of the restaurant, as the staff spoke to the children and gave them treats like they were visiting nieces and nephews, I took in the fun and very well put together decor. The gentleman who seated me, was so warm and freindly as was everyone. I asked for vegan and was told instantly everything was cooked fresh to order so anything I wanted could be adapted- amazing! The whole experience had already won me over but then the meal arrived. I picked a potato and spinach dish with salad- the flavours were stunning, everything was so fresh and tasty. Even the orange juice (also freshly squeezed to order) was the freshest juice I've ever had! I am in love and cannot wait to return.
Nice lunch visit, they have a wide menu of vegetarian and meat options. The venue was nicely decorated, clean tables and nice waiting staff. I ordered the omelette and chips with a latte, everything tasted fresh and nice. The negatives for me was that I couldn't see any signs stating that it was a animal friendly cafe, a customer near us had a small dog with them. Otherwise it was a nice lunch visit.
4 of us went there for late lunch. Very attentive staff and food was delicious. We sat outside in the late summer it was very pleasant. Will go there again.
I love this place and I will go for lunch every time I have a little spare moment. The waiting time is good , not too long and price is also good . The portions are big and I think will satisfy even the most hungry stomach . This time I chosen pasta with chicken and fresh salad and it was excellent . Friendly place for smokers who can find table outside and enjoy the ciggi after meal. I recommend this place
Service was quite slow but they made up for the food and fresh juices. The place can get quite busy so be sure to reserve. Very popular in the area and I can understand /taste why.
Lovely restaurant and delicious food. Set menu was perfect - includes wine , starter and main course. A cosy interior with some friendly staff.
Lovely interior with a homely feel; seating on two levels. I had the Tavuk sis (grilled marinated chicken breasts served with rice and salad). The food was tasty - nothing but crumbs left on my plate afterwards. This should be have been 5 stars but for the long waiting time - took nearly an hour for the food to arrive. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely return!👍
The Olive and lemon is a small but pretty venue.
The manager is kind and polite, always remembers people’s names and orders.
The cafe is perfectly positioned for eating outside as the sun rises above the Stratford government building opposite and basks you while you eat delicious Turkish / Med mix.
The food I believe is also Halal and the outside seating area is surrounded by small but pretty plants. A perfect small business to visit and eat.
Excellent food, good portion sizes. Very busy at lunch so if you're going in big groups it's best to reserve a table
I loved going to this cafe - so refreshing and the food is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. Staff are always helpful and the service is exceptionally great. Whenever I am in the area this is the place I head to. Highly recommended.
