We went here because of a recommendation and therefore it was a bit disappointing. Even though the staff was friendly, it were just ordinary burgers and fries. Furthermore the benches were very worn and tight. So when it comes to burgers and fries, I recommend Honest Burgers.

They are really the best burgers I've ever tasted. I'd recommend anyone to try the Truffle Burger, great meat eaters, great for vegans. Only criticism is that the Chilli burger wasn't as hot as expected, however it was still very good. Great staff too. Recommended!

Our aim was to go Flat Iron but after they gave us 1.5 hour of waiting time we decided to try our change at the opposite door, Byron. We don't regret. Less waiting time, friendly and helpful staff. Considering there are so many burguer houses and they all look the same I'm really demanding when I go trying a new one. Byron was a wonderfull surprise. I came here by recommendation of a friend. I ordered the regular cheeseburger, because as I have always said, the only way to measure if a burger is any good is to eat their classic flavored one and compare it to your best. I found the burger just okay. The bun was a bit dry for my taste. The fries were okay- just your regular frozen fries. Had the vanilla milkshake too and the size was pretty tall! It was good!

As a rule i order my steaks rare and my burgers medium rare. I like my beef to be still moo-ing when it hits my plate. The burgers at Byron always come perfectly cooked with the right balance of pink and charring to add flavour.<br/><br/>One of the other draws to Byron, aside from the namesake burgers , is the courgette fries. Trust me, once youâve tried these, you wonât ever order regular fries again! they are basically soft and juicy courgette stripes fried tempura style in a light, crispy batter....all that you need is a nice glass of Fentimans ginger beer to wash it all down! absolute perfection!

I had heard so much about Byron but anytime I had previously tried to go there was a long wait on the evening or my companions weren't in burger mood! I did successfully get to visit the one in Soho recently before a flight. It was mega tasty. I loved the staff - super cool but not too cool to serve you nicely as in other burger joints (plus they're all very good looking). My burger was cooked deliciously to medium with some skin-on fries on the side. And I'm even gonna say that their shakes are better than Shake Shack (controversial!)...

I even grew to love the bizarre projection of twenties synchronised swimmers on the wall, although I still question how and why it's a suitable video to show at restaurant majoring in fried foods and saturated fat. If you care to wait well over 45 minutes for a single piece of food to arrive, and clearly disorganised waiting staff, but fancy a very good fresh burger, then this is your place. I really appreciate some restaurants are putting on a good menu of craft beer because trust me, the different to your everyday mainstream larger is massive. I only visit London a couple of times a year so it means Iâm somewhat behind the curve when it comes to the latest hip and happening restaurant openings. My husband loves burgers so when I heard that Byron was opening in the old Intrepid Fox on Wardour Street, I thought we should definitely go. I ended up going with some of my colleagues first and it was as good as the reviews promised, so Brad and I organised to go one lunchtime. Unfortunately for us, the kitchen was busy and it took some time for them to take our order and deliver it. We were waiting for over 30 minutes for our food which is pretty unacceptable. On my first visit, this wasn't a problem, so I assume we just got them on a bad day. I opted for the Classic burger, which you can see above and below. When they say classic, they really mean it. It comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion and a pickle on the side. You can add your own ketchup and mustard if you like. The burger itself was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked, just the right amount of pink inside and with a bit of seasoning. I was less keen on the bun, it was one of those floury numbers. Give me sesame seeds

Seemingly pricey for a deceivingly simple burger but worth every penny as itâs put together so well. Starting with the minced meat patty cooked rare-medium through to the soft light bun encasing it. Surprisingly (and thankfully) even expanding to 17 locations now it hasnât lost its charm (with each restaurant decorated differently) nor gone downhill in quality or service.

There are many places offering burgers in town and you will find yourself inexplicably eating one living here. Here are the few that I find myself inexplicably eating most often. GBK Kiwi burger Beef, beetroot, egg, pineapple, aged cheddar, salad, mayo and relish ĂÂŁ8.95 When I find myself at GBK, I always find myself ordering the kiwi burger. The beetroot, egg and pineapple always draws me in and blinds me to anything else. It's a decently good burger and definitely tastes better than say going to the Golden Arches. At least I get beetroot, egg and pineapple. You also get to contribute 25p to charity and help save the kiwi in Whakatane. There are so many burger offerings in every city at the moment, opted to give Byron A try on Saturday night after our first choice (The Breakfast Club) was fully booked. After a short 15 minute wait we were seated, the service was good, perhaps a little slower at some points, but it was Saturday night and super busy so to be expected.<br/><br/>I had the limited edition B-Rex burger which was heavily loaded with onion rings, cheese, jalapeños, pickles, bacon and BBQ sauce! It was a monster, a bacon cheeseburger on steroids if you like, it was really good though pretty messy, perhaps not a choice if meeting someone for the first time! <br/><br/>I decided to have the courgette fries instead of normal chips, which though tasty, were a little on the heavy side and lacking in salt. (Probably my own personal taste though.)<br/><br/>If you're looking for a solid tasty burger I'd give Byron a try, if you're a fan of bacon cheeseburgers definitely give the BRex burger a try!

If you want a pretty good burger in a casual, and friendly environment, I recommend Byron. Although I have tried better burgers, Byron has a variety of cheeses to choose from from to make your burger just the way you like it- also, the fries are great! I really like the Soho branch because of it's quite unique look and there's a very friendly and welcoming vibe. It's great on a Saturday early dinner after a good walk around the area. I think the price is very reasonable for the food that you get! I recommend it if you're into burgers, and want casual and quick service.

Byron's burgers mean business. With meaty pattys and your choice of flavoursome cheese, there's a good burger to be had here. Occasionally they feature burgers with special ingredients, and I once enjoyed a burger that had hash browns inside. <br/><br/>Prepare to be bowled over by their milkshake - it's not a dainty one that comes in a knickerbockerglory-style glass but rather a huge pint in a hard wearing metal container. It's quite a feat to negotiate the room in your stomach between the milkshake and your burger so you may want to share the milkshake if you're not too hungry. I'd also go for oreo flavour, it's my favourite.

One of the best burgers around. Byron's popularity is growing and it is easy to see why, this restaurant in soho is a great space with friendly service and ample portions. Burgers are high quality and the home made chips are really excellent. As a burger bar it hits the spot bang on.

I'm not very fond of this place. I think the burgers are over-priced for the quality they offer. You have to pay about 2 pounds for each additional ingredient, I'm talking cheese, bacon, etc. What you would normally expect for a burger above 5 pounds. This one's been a bit busy in my experience too. I much prefer the one just off High Holborn: it's quieter, more stylish, less busy and only a few minutes walk away.

Byron's probably the fastest growing and most ubiquitous chain restaurant in London these days, and for good reason. The burgers are reasonably priced and delicious, and this particular branch is a firm favourite of mine (nicely laid out, silent films sometimes screened on the walls, good friendly service). Despite being situated right down the street from BRGR and other rival joints, I'd always encourage people to plump for Byron: it may feel derivative to keep going to a chain restaurant, but in this instance there's a very good reason for doing so. Best burger in London (at least, until Shake Shack opens this summer).
