They are really the best burgers I've ever tasted. I'd recommend anyone to try the Truffle Burger, great meat eaters, great for vegans. Only criticism is that the Chilli burger wasn't as hot as expected, however it was still very good. Great staff too. Recommended!
Really enjoyed it! They actually serve proper burguers. I asked for the chicken and avocado, and it was totally worth it! I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Our aim was to go Flat Iron but after they gave us 1.5 hour of waiting time we decided to try our change at the opposite door, Byron. We don't regret. Less waiting time, friendly and helpful staff. One of us tried classic burger and the other tried cheeseburger. Plates was satisfying and delicious. As a dessert, I tried chocolate brownie and it was tasty.
Delicious burgers but most importantly don't forget to try the different kinds of fries that come along, especially the all-time-popular zucchini fries.
Service was friendly and fast. The food tasted good, although I have to say the burger I had tasted a lot like a McDonald's cheeseburger. They don't have a lot of gluten free options though. If you want a burger it has to be without a bun, and the fries are not GF.
the grilled chicken burger with buffalo sauce is a must here ... i tried the beef burger but not as good as the chicken.... also i tried the special fries they serve and i think it is average
Loved the ham burgers here. Lovely place with massive burgers and great tasting shakes. Ensuring to make their customers happy. Value for money.
Considering there are so many burguer houses and they all look the same I'm really demanding when I go trying a new one. Byron was a wonderfull surprise. It looked like it was going to be a ordinary cheese burguer but it turned out to be delicious. Simple but delicious. Delicious meat, mayo sauce, bread and sweet fried potatos. And best of all it isn't overpriced at all. Very good value for money.
Really gud burger, and a decent selection of spirits and wines. A quick and helpful service, even on a busy Saturday evening should just make your day.
A must try, are the selection of shakes and fries to go with your burger.
Highly recommended for first time London visitors.
The Best Burgers we tried whilst travelling in London. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the menu has a huge variety so there is something for everyone. Love how the pickle gets put on the side of the burger- Perfect!
TIP: Don't order a burger without a side of French Fries and Onion Rings. Do the Reese'sâą Peanut Butter Cup as a Hard Shake with Baileys.
I love burgers, and I LOVE hot sauce. So the chilli burger at Byron really is my idea of food heaven. Luckily, or not so luckily for my waistline, I have a branch literally 5 minutes from my office so I often head there with my colleagues to indulge in one of my favourite meals!
The chilli burger contains a 6oz hamburger smothered with green chilli, American cheese, shredded iceberg and chipotle mayonnaise and I always order extra avocado to go inside. As a rule i order my steaks rare and my burgers medium rare. I like my beef to be still moo-ing when it hits my plate. The burgers at Byron always come perfectly cooked with the right balance of pink and charring to add flavour.
One of the other draws to Byron, aside from the namesake burgers , is the courgette fries. Trust me, once youâve tried these, you wonât ever order regular fries again! they are basically soft and juicy courgette stripes fried tempura style in a light, crispy batter....all that you need is a nice glass of Fentimans ginger beer to wash it all down! absolute perfection!

Byron Proper Hamburgers is a not-to-miss on a visit to London.?
I had heard so much about Byron but anytime I had previously tried to go there was a long wait on the evening or my companions weren't in burger mood! I did successfully get to visit the one in Soho recently before a flight. It was mega tasty. I loved the staff - super cool but not too cool to serve you nicely as in other burger joints (plus they're all very good looking). My burger was cooked deliciously to medium with some skin-on fries on the side. And I'm even gonna say that their shakes are better than Shake Shack (controversial!)...
Great Burgers. I'm from Melbourne in Australia and I love the burgers here, just the best, and at great prices.
The so-called burger specialists in Australia could a thing or ten from these guys!
Always visit Byron several times whenever I'm in London

Before talking about it, I should probably confess that this review was corrupt from the start - I wanted to like Byron before I even got there. This is because:
A) My second favourite food hunk of all time, Giles Coren, went there, and he liked it. I like to like the same things as he does because I imagine that if we ever meet, he'll say something like, "wow, we like all the same things!" and then he might think I am cool and want to be my friend.
B) The longest book I've ever read was a massive biography of Byron on holiday, and I am quite proud of it. Seriously, it was enormous, and it had basically no picturesâŠ
C) I was going to see my friend Edd and I was very excited. I had already decided that even if Byron was some kind of grimy cold war style hell hole where the food was flung on our plates with disdain and spittle, I'd still have a super duper time.
So, you see, this can't be an entirely unbiased review. However, I did genuinely think Byron was great.
For one, the service was freakishly fast. The waitress took our order, walked away, and then basically came straight back but WITH OUR FOOD. Creepy eh? In fact, it was so fast that I was pretty suspicious. I was forced to accept, however, that they had definitely produced our order, because I had asked for my burger blue and it was very blue.
I liked that too. They actually cook things how you want them to be cooked, instead of just asking you and then casually tossing the paper away. So when they asked how I wanted it cooked and they brought it back seconds before rigor mortis set in, I had to admit defeat. Byron 1 - Charlotte 0.
Courgette chips were also tasty and piping hot (how did they do that in the time, how, how?!) and all very reasonably priced - about ÂŁ15 each for burgers, fries, and a little drinkie. I even grew to love the bizarre projection of twenties synchronised swimmers on the wall, although I still question how and why it's a suitable video to show at restaurant majoring in fried foods and saturated fat. Ho hum.
Splashing or no splashing, Byron is pretty good. Nice meat, nice place, not too much monies. Only one minor criticism: I'd have preferred firmer buns. The end.
Not actually the end⊠here is the Byron website in case you want to go: http://www.byronhamburgers.com/

More!. Best burger under ÂŁ10 in London I've had so far. Certainly beats all the other High Street chains. Love that it has a char grilled flavour, made from good quality beef, and cooked pink. A fine example of doing the simple things right, resulting in an excellent & memorable product. The Caesar salad and chips are good too.
Still The Best...... 1st time in the Soho branch of this ever increasing chain, and they are still producing a winning formula.
The burgers are still juicy and tasty. The skin on chips are awesome and one of the best shakes I've had outside of NYC.
Staff are warm and friendly, although bit heavy on the sales, but hey ho.
Take away is great too.. I was marooned in Edit hell the other day in Soho and after my happy experience in the Islington branch, I ordered take out from here. It was lovely and prompted much menu envy from my colleagues in the suite..
Recommended!
"Fast food!" I think not! If you care to wait well over 45 minutes for a single piece of food to arrive, and clearly disorganised waiting staff, but fancy a very good fresh burger, then this is your place. Milk shakes are yummy too. Tip: if u r seated downstairs, check out behind the big grey curtain to reveal a private 3 seater mini theatre screen that plays hardcore 'adult content'. Gives new meaning to the neon sign on the wall..."Fresh Meat".
A lovely burger! Chocolate brownie is to die for too :)
I only visit London a couple of times a year so it means Iâm somewhat behind the curve when it comes to the latest hip and happening restaurant openings. In fact Iâm so far behind the curve, itâs just a speck on the horizon. Whilst most of Londonâs bloggers have been clamouring to visit this Summerâs twin American burger imports of Shake Shack and Five Guys , Iâm only getting round to writing about some of the veterans of the London burger scene (and one newbie). The upshot of this was that I Â was able to waltz straight into each of the establishments below in less time than it takes to say âI hate queuingâ. MEATmarket MEATmarket is the Covent Garden outpost of Yianni Papoutsisâs uber-trendy micro-chain which can be credited with kicking off Londonâs current burger obsession. Everything about the place is achingly cool - the gritty menu language, the conversation-stiflingly loud music, the dimmed lighting and archetypal âdirtyâ food being served. Itâs really not the kind of place Iâd w

Yesterday, I went for dinner with an old friend to a restaurant called Byron. I drank ginger beer and wished it was a coke float; we caught up on news and swapped stories and advice; we ate courgette fries and macaroni cheese.
My husband loves burgers so when I heard that Byron was opening in the old Intrepid Fox on Wardour Street, I thought we should definitely go. I ended up going with some of my colleagues first and it was as good as the reviews promised, so Brad and I organised to go one lunchtime. Unfortunately for us, the kitchen was busy and it took some time for them to take our order and deliver it. We were waiting for over 30 minutes for our food which is pretty unacceptable. On my first visit, this wasn't a problem, so I assume we just got them on a bad day. I opted for the Classic burger, which you can see above and below. When they say classic, they really mean it. It comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion and a pickle on the side. You can add your own ketchup and mustard if you like. The burger itself was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked, just the right amount of pink inside and with a bit of seasoning. I was less keen on the bun, it was one of those floury numbers. Give me sesame seeds
Seemingly pricey for a deceivingly simple burger but worth every penny as itâs put together so well. Starting with the minced meat patty cooked rare-medium through to the soft light bun encasing it. Surprisingly (and thankfully) even expanding to 17 locations now it hasnât lost its charm (with each restaurant decorated differently) nor gone downhill in quality or service.
I went to Byron in Soho today due to a tip-off that they would be launching a new burger in their restaurants starting the 14th (today, at time of writing). Incredibly hungry after a lecture, I quickly made my way to Soho and somehow walked straight past
I've been semi-resisting this one for a while. I hate to say it, but I thought that there may be a few too many burger reviews around at the moment. To be honest, I always thought there were few bigger burger fans than me, until I started writing me blog
I always used to be a bit intimidated by The Intrepid Fox in Wardour St when it was a goth/metal pub - scary gargoyle hanging over the door, moody goths jostling you out of the way as they shuffled in, I was never ballsy enough to go in and see what it wa
It's been over a week since my last New York burger. I've sailed through the denial phase and now I'm starting to get the shakes and eye off McDonald's. It's a crisp Friday night. I'm tempted to start checking BA fares. My wallet groans. But fate is shini
After an evening showing of âA Christmas Carolâ at the IMAX Cinema (fantastic 3-D feature!), a bunch of friends and I decided to go to Byronâs newly opened branch in Sohoâs Wardour St. It was after 10pm when we arrived, and we were lucky to find a couple
âKeep it simple but make it goodâ is Byron Hamburgerâs strategy. The restaurant offers a limited choice, with no more than 6 burgers on the menu, but focuses on quality and flavours.
I started doing this post the way I start all of my posts. I flick through my photos and after wiping a sufficient amount of drool off my keyboard, I get my creative juices flowing and smack them into some sort of an aesthetic collage, "kook" them a littl
I have always been an advocate of Byron, as readers of this blog will contest. Ever since my first visit , I have been back numerous times
Finally finally finally I managed to venture to Byron Hamburger's new (at least it was in November) branch in Soho on the site of the former Intrepid Fox, a venue which has long been asking for a new owner. I did fear that it might not live up to my expec
...the burger is GOOD. Really good. Perfect medium. Great flavor. Perhaps the only fault is that the bun just isn't toasted enough for me. By the end of my burger, I'm holding a bit of a soggy, bready mess. But you know what? I really didn't mind.
There are so many burger offerings in every city at the moment, opted to give Byron A try on Saturday night after our first choice (The Breakfast Club) was fully booked. After a short 15 minute wait we were seated, the service was good, perhaps a little slower at some points, but it was Saturday night and super busy so to be expected.
I had the limited edition B-Rex burger which was heavily loaded with onion rings, cheese, jalapeños, pickles, bacon and BBQ sauce! It was a monster, a bacon cheeseburger on steroids if you like, it was really good though pretty messy, perhaps not a choice if meeting someone for the first time!
I decided to have the courgette fries instead of normal chips, which though tasty, were a little on the heavy side and lacking in salt. (Probably my own personal taste though.)
If you're looking for a solid tasty burger I'd give Byron a try, if you're a fan of bacon cheeseburgers definitely give the BRex burger a try!
As an American in London, I'm always intrigued by how many US-type burger chains are surfacing here. Byron Burger is one that I just recently tried. In my blog 'Sunny in London' I wrote a review which compares Shake Shack, Five Guys and Byron Burger. You can find the link in the Urbanspoon Blog Reviews. My husband and I really enjoyed our meals at the Charing Cross Byron Burger. The service was good and the food tasted fabulous. It's certainly a busy location, but the staff is friendly and fast. Check out my blog to see all the juicy pictures and details!
If you want a pretty good burger in a casual, and friendly environment, I recommend Byron. Although I have tried better burgers, Byron has a variety of cheeses to choose from from to make your burger just the way you like it- also, the fries are great! I really like the Soho branch because of it's quite unique look and there's a very friendly and welcoming vibe. It's great on a Saturday early dinner after a good walk around the area. I think the price is very reasonable for the food that you get! I recommend it if you're into burgers, and want casual and quick service.
Byron's burgers mean business. With meaty pattys and your choice of flavoursome cheese, there's a good burger to be had here. Occasionally they feature burgers with special ingredients, and I once enjoyed a burger that had hash browns inside.Â
Prepare to be bowled over by their milkshake - it's not a dainty one that comes in a knickerbockerglory-style glass but rather a huge pint in a hard wearing metal container. It's quite a feat to negotiate the room in your stomach between the milkshake and your burger so you may want to share the milkshake if you're not too hungry. I'd also go for oreo flavour, it's my favourite.
I love classic and simple burger so this place is perfect for hamburger and great Byron sauce on the side. The rest is slightly pricy to add, sides, more ingredient etc. I was brilliant few years ago when it was not known as it was super cheap, now it's too crowded.
One of the best burgers around. Byron's popularity is growing and it is easy to see why, this restaurant in soho is a great space with friendly service and ample portions. Burgers are high quality and the home made chips are really excellent. As a burger bar it hits the spot bang on.
Byron's probably the fastest growing and most ubiquitous chain restaurant in London these days, and for good reason. The burgers are reasonably priced and delicious, and this particular branch is a firm favourite of mine (nicely laid out, silent films sometimes screened on the walls, good friendly service). Despite being situated right down the street from BRGR and other rival joints, I'd always encourage people to plump for Byron: it may feel derivative to keep going to a chain restaurant, but in this instance there's a very good reason for doing so. Best burger in London (at least, until Shake Shack opens this summer).
Great place to go with friends and nice burgers. The fries are real nice and crispy too. Tip: add the green chillies to your burger for a nice kick!
The white chocolate cheesecake is really nice and recommended to finish your meal. Quick attentive friendly service also đđœ
Staffs are very friendly and nice!
But the burger in Byron is not my best burger in London :/
I ordered the Chilli burger, I expected with red chilli source. But, Literally they put only green chilli.. So disappointed :(
Great burgers! Try the Byron. Fresh and soft bun, great quality meat. Good for family or friends. The side salad was also super fresh and the service was quick and friendly. Recommend to go with an empty stomach!
Fav burger place in the city.
Love the food, ambiance and the hot sauce đ
Simply good.
We have to wait like 15 minutes for getting a table but.... It worths absolutely. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had and was good value for money.
Really nice place, with good food and beer. The staff is very helpful and polite. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendation for what to eat and drink
Nice place with tasty, reasonably priced burgers.
The sweet potato fries are worth the whole visit.
