Went as a team lunch from office. Very nice ambience and food quality is great. Lot of new names in the menu but tastes good. Near to the office on hammersmith road so we spent time there. For drinks, the place is best again. Go as a team and have a great fun there. The restaurant is on a corner and have seating outside too. Good to try!,

Hammersmith is like the other side of the earth to me. As a bordering East end lass there needs to be a pretty compelling reason to commute over there for an evening. Recently, we had a kicker of a reason with Postmodern Jukebox dropping by London on its global tour. A trip to Hammersmith Apollo to see this talented bunch was on the cards, so din dins in the area would have to be on the agenda too.

My dining companion, Sam Vanilla, had worked in the area so suggested a pub which served good thai. I was game so we headef on over to The Latymet, a Fullers pub.

L'Oreal and Virgin offices are nearby as well as many office blocks, so an after work crowd filled out on to the street. It was the first time it was marginally warm after all. Inside, groups of office folk celebrating the pending weekend downed pints and sipped wine. It'a decent size pub and brightly lit. To the rear is a seperate area, not closed off, but clearly the thai restaurant area. Sam vanilla recalled it being a popular spot for food and one of her fave thai places.

We settled down at our corner table and as she knew what she was having, I briefly scanned the menu for king prawns as that was what i was craving. There it was. Jumbo prawns grilled in their shell. You really can't go wrong with that. For the first time ever I also had a side of egg fried rice. My dining companion had what looked a chicken noodle broth. Full of goodness. The food was good as was the atmosphere, definitely worth a visit if in the area again.

Latymers is a blink and miss pub located on a corner of the massive Hammersmith road....once you walk through the doors, past the facade of a regular pub/bar, you enter a small dining room that serves good, simply prepared Thai food. Service is brisk and friendly..should you ever find yourself in Hammersmith, eat here.... A no. 10 bus drops you almost at the doors.

Unfortunately this place does not allow BYO. They do a great chicken pad thai though. If you order a curry i can recommend ordering a coconut rice to go with it. So fragant and delicious with a spicy curry.
The best part though is the pandan pancake. So much so that I came back again just for dessert.

Paradoxical places to eat are becoming more and more prevalent in London, Latymers is no exception. It looks like a English pub, it has all the same facilities as an English pub, serves the same drinks as an English pub, and even shows sport like an English pub. But web you walk in and take a deep smell you get hit with spicy and aromatic aromas feom cooking that's very non-English Pub. I visited Latymers three times over the last week and sampled two of the Thai dishes on offe and I was very pleased. You get very large portions, and considering average London prices it was very good for £6. The have a menu, however will quite happily tailor your dish to your needs. A Hindu co-worker of mine wanted tofu in his and not meat to go with a particular sauce that was only served with meat on the menu, this was no trouble at all for them and produced exactly what he wanted. The food itself was packed with flavour and very nicely cooked. Be warned however, if you choose a hot dish make sure you are prepared mine was very spicy with plenty of chillis! A spicy dish is just about right if you like a little extra oomph. Portions were large and filling. Service wise, it was excellent, despite a large group of us ordering, more often than not the waitresses knew exactly who ordered what and it was all brought out within 15min of ordering which makes this place ideal for lunch. If Thai isn't your bag, they do have a selection of traditional pub food just incase. The bar staff were also exceedingly friendly. Will be visiting again when I am in Hammersmith next.

Yumm yumm yummmmm. That's how my brain buzzes whenever I think of this well kept secret. They have a gem of a chef who creates some really nice Thai magic. Give me a Thai red curry and their crispy chilli chicken wing(dinner menu), and I'll be singing merry tunes for the rest of the day :)

This is a lovely corner of Hammersmith, perfect to grab a few pints after work or a relaxed Sunday roast.

All the more, the offer comes with bonus Thai cuisine- if you are bored with pub food in a conventional setting, you should experiment with this combination. Clientele is mostly west londoners coming in groups , not too crowded not eerily cool.I Just dont  have a certain special as I donot have any badges with Thai food yet, working on the expertise :))

Atmosphere was lovely and chilled at lunch time, the half pub-half Thai restaurant works really well together. The service was relaxed, friendly and welcoming. There were a good selection of drinks, I had the acia berry green tea which was fruity and refreshing on a hot summer day. The Thai Food was delicious, I had the chicken pad Thai and pork crackling. I had a taste of my sister's Weeping Tiger dish which was my personal favourite (which went well with chips or rice).

Awesome Pub/Thai restaurant. I had gone here to have fish and chips, but had sweet and sour Cod instead. It was phenomenal! Good beer selection, great Thai food and I did break down and ordered chips. They were delicious!

Great place to visit. Half of the building is a pub, and the other half is a Thai restaurant. Good service, good food and friendly staff.

So we booked here for dinner tonight for the 9:30 slot. Unfortunately because their last order was 9:30 we were a bit rushed to order and the menu is very intense so needs some time. The waitress was in a bit of rush but I guess that was fair as they were closing. I don’t think they should offer bookings for 9:30 online if they close at 9:30! The food itself was really good. I had the noodles which were delicious. The crowd was decent.

Great food and friendly service. It’s an interesting combination-Thai restaurant and a pub. We tried the restaurant. The food was really good, quite authentic. We tried pha Thai, pork and shrimp dumpling , and red curry. Pha Thai is tasty. Dumplings were home made( I think so), they are really good. Red curry has good balance between spices and sweetness. I’d happy to recommend to go!

Excellent food in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant is at the back of the pub and it was really buzzing even on a Wednesday. We had the mixed starters, crispy cod in sweet chilli sauce and Weeping Tiger steak. We were too full to order dessert! Meal was outstanding and served by friendly staff. Loved the decor too! Highly recommend if you’re in the Hammersmith area,

Amazing food and service at the bar as well, had the platter for two and every single bit of it was delicious. Of the two main courses we had, the drunken duck was the star, oh so spicy and aromatic, the wok dish we went for was also lovely. The bar tender was proper nice and provided us samples of beer for my boyfriend to choose which one he'd go for and made a cocktail based on what I was feeling (something fizzy, fruity and refreshing) which he nailed. Ambience was nice too, we sat at the pub so we were in the lively bit. Overall top quality food, nice drinks menu and lovely staff!

A real authentic Thai restaurant attached to a great pub. What could be better 👍 I judge my Thai restaurants on their ability to make a Papaya salad and this didn’t disappoint. Great food Loved the duck curry too.

This is the 2nd time we have visited this establishment now and we have loved it both times. The pub is lovely and calm, wonderful atmosphere both times and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Then the restaurant is just phenomenal. We have purposefully tried different dishes both times we came and ordered far too much food because it all sounded too good not to try. Every single one of the starters and main dishes we have tried have been delicious and hard to determine a favourite. The staff in the restaurant are also very friendly and helpful. We’ve now said that whenever we are in Hammersmith this will be our restaurant to go to. Cannot fault any part of our experience here both times. Thank you very much.

I booked a table for 14 for my son's bday (18/08) as he loves Thai food. We'd never previously dined here but needed somewhere that could accommodate the size of our family. Nothing was too much. The service was incredible. The staff were friendly, interacted amazingly with the children and were happy to help. And then there was the food. I have no pictures firstly. Everything is fresh and hot. Tasty. Delicious. My son said his Prawn Green Thai Curry was the best. The portions are deceiving. We took so much food home which just makes today exciting. My sister forgot candles for my son's cake and they brought out a lit cake without a bother or a question. I wish I took their names so I can show them all appreciation but when we go back I will for sure because we will be going back. Our New Family Fav!!

Thai pub! Good food with various mains - they even had a whole seabass cooked with fish sauce. Tom yum soup was delicious. Visited on weekend for dinner but the place was a bit dead - little music or people. Wish it was more lively.

Best Thai food in town! Set in a lovely bright and spacious pub. Generous portions and great quality. Can’t recommend a specific dish because all of them are so tasty but the classic Pad Thai is definitely a must as well as the red jungle curry (if you fancy a bit of heat). They also recently updated their dining area which now has a fresh feel. There is also an outdoor seating area for the warmer months.

Came for dinner which was great. Really nice Thai food and reasonably priced - my massaman curry was £9.50 and £3 for rice. Pint of Amstel for £4.95. Staff were very pleasant too and it's a nice looking pub inside. We came at 6pm on a Friday, and the only thing I would have changed would be to have sat in the livelier pub section or outside. We assumed we had to sit in the restaurant section, and this was pretty empty and didn't have any music on, so the atmosphere was better elsewhere in/outside the building. We could indeed have sat anywhere though so that's our mistake!
