A low key and humble place with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food is amazing. Really well put together food, good flavours and fresh ingredients. Loved the twist on traditional Asian dishes. Presentation looked great too and portion size is good. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. Amazing for anyone with dietary requirements like coeliacs. Will definitely go back :)
I recently discovered this place and I'm very glad I did. I love coming here, the owners are an absolute delight going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. They have a great bar selection with a range of original cocktails, fab wine menu and then there's the food....I don't know where to start! It's an amazing fusion of everything East Asian. It is fantastic! The jack fruit scotch egg being one of my personal favourites. This place is must try and a wonderful escape from the city madness.

The first thought when I arrive, this place looks very cool. Then the menu seems interesting and when you get the food, you just fall in love with Pickled Fred.

Amazing and under the radar. Best happy hour I've found in all of London, hands down. Not to mention the food is exceptional! The owners are a pleasure and make you feel right at home. Would highly recommend this place! Will be coming again asap.
Fantastically unexpectedly brilliant! Really small menu of great dishes which is perfect after having your sixth cocktail because they are so good!
I'm so happy this amazing new restaurant has opened up in my neighborhood! Went in today to try it out and was really happy with the experience. My husband is vegan and in vegetarian. The menu is well balanced for all dietary needs. There's a little bit of everything. The decor is fantastic and the owners were lovely. They apparently built it themselves! They are running a promotion right now (half off on food) but I'll more than gladly pay full price because the food was fantastic. Jack fruit eggs and roasted cauliflower were my favorites. Cocktails were excellent as well. Come show these guys some love!
Love this place! Been a few times and the food is always superb; a bit different but tasty and healthy! The cocktails are incredible and their happy hour means you can't have too many!!

LOVE THIS PLACE. Can't wait to go back. Decor, theme and music are all on point. I had the Buttered Rum (which I think might be my new favourite cocktail) and the scotch egg. Never had a scotch egg quite like that before, very tasty. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.

1st of all, I want to mention how good the food is. Expertly paired ingredients, very good selection and plenty of very different options. Secondly, the allergy specifications are top, with loads of options for vegan, GF and dairy free. As a meat eater, with no food restrictions, I did not feel compromised at all to pick food "family style" others who were dairy free could eat. Simple ideas, complex ingredients, expertly executed. Also, very interesting cocktails. Recommended.
Last week was my first time in London, and my friend brought me to this restaurant. I absolutely loved it: the location is very trendy, the food is spot on, the cocktails phenomenal and the service amazing! Pickled Fred has a heart and passion for the restaurant and that is visible. I could definitely recommend to visit if you find yourself in London. And try their Scotch Egg, you won’t regret it!
Fantastic find - truly delicious food for good prices, lovely service, tables far enough apart to have a proper chat, decor tasteful and 'now' without being aggressively trendy - and did I mention how good the food is? We came for cocktails in the evening which were delicious and then came back in the next afternoon for brunch. All the staff are crazy friendly, the food is so scrumptious I almost ordered another but I was full! Will definitely come back. Great vibe!
Beautiful food! Lotus root crisps are the best bar snack!!! And the flatbreads are delicious :) really tasty. The cocktails are scrummy, Fred's Fancy went down particularly well. Really good place to go with a group of friends as the food is great for vegans, veggies and meat eaters alike. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Couldn't recommend it more, will be going back soon.
Top quality food and a very original menu which will tempt adventurous palates and lovers of lesser known cuisines: root chips, octopus with chickpeas were amongst the tantalizing dishes that I tasted, but the table quickly filled with more intriguing and appetizing plates! Service was also top notch: the waiter that tended to our table was incredibly friendly, professional and attentive, and also good with suggestions. The only little grumble which I think could be improved is the size of the portions, which tend to be more tapas-like than proper mains. But overall thumbs up for a place that stands out from the competition for originality, quality and personable approach.
Delicious and interesting food, amazing cocktails (and happy hour!) and really lovely staff. The beef shin rendang was amazing and the lotus crisps a big surprise (best beer snack ever?). I can't wait to return.
