Wonderful place with a very good ambience. The prices are reasonable, the staff is highly professional and friendly and the service is prompt and punctual.
Had the nachos from here, they were okay in the taste though the ambience is really good at Barrio but thee nachos definitely should be worked upon

We visited in a Thursday night, the vibes were chilled, the garden relaxed and Emma provided the best service! The cocktails on offer were exoctic and yummy! We were able to book a group of 10 in a days notice which was excellent. Thanks Barrio, we will be back!
Good place to hangout with mates. Good collection on drinks in a fun filled Latin American environment. The place is crowded on the weekends, although recommend a reservation also on weekdays
The outlet is unique with its design and decoration. Nice atmosphere. The menu is diverse. It offers delicious Latin and Mexican food with great flavors. Helpful staff. Excellent service.
My new favourite bar in Shoreditch!! Loved everything about Barrio from the theatrical bartenders concocting cocktails while breaking-down to the overhead tunes, to the fresh, ostentatious 'higgledy-piggledy' decor. Even the bathrooms had decorative flair. Such a great atmosphere for a bar! Was really buzzing on a Thursday night but still managed to land a booth. We enjoyed the 'Old Dirty Bastard, Hoodrat and the Rumshackle. All hits with subtle flavours and not overloaded with ice- good value for money in today's overpriced cocktail movement. We 100% be back to get all over the bar food.
Such a cute cosy place. Just arrived for a quick cocktail before heading out but the bartenders were friendly, a bit indecisive on the recommendations though. I chose the former favourite cocktail the Brazilian and it was lovely. Quite the kick to it! Will definitely be coming back to spend more time and experiment with other cocktails.

I was thrilled to be invited to Barrio East, one of 3 Barrio restaurants, to try their new brunch and brunch cocktail menu recently. Breakfast/brunch is one of my favorite things, especially when there's time to enjoy it at the weekend. Barrio East is on Shoreditch High St and Sunday was the first time I'd been there since they took over from previous residents Avalon (apparently there's even still a swimming pool in the basement there!) As you know, it was baking hot on Sunday in London, and getting the tube from West to East was almost unbearable, but arriving at Barrio East, into their cool, bright and funky venue, it all seemed worthwhile. We were seated on a table right by the window, which was perfect for watching the world go by outside.
Visited this bar to catch up with a couple of friends. We were seated right in front of the door, which automatically limited our experience. The service was friendly and the portions are huge. Called for a nachos and it was enough for the 3 of us to share. They had happy hour going on, which is why the place was busy. The atmosphere was lively and they had good music. However, I liked the decor of the tables inside. Overall, a chilled bar to have a few drinks and nibbles at.

Welcome to the neighbourhood! Yes, Barrio East transports you out of trendy Shoreditch and right into a buzzing Latin American bar. I went recently to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I was suitably impressed. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is friendly and attentive. The decor is colourful, eye-catching and appealing - even the bathroom cubicles are decorated like beach huts!
Now... on to the most important bit: the tapas and the tipple. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I recommend the Mariquitas for a yummy bar snack or the Taquiza Platter if you are in a group and fancy sampling all of their tasty tacos and taquitos. In terms of drinks, I was wooed by their Gingerbread Colada, which is a real treat for someone with a sweet tooth! They have an enviable selection of everything, which is sure to cater for fussiest eaters and drinkers.
All in all, Barrio East delivers a great dining experience. Their good food and cracking atmosphere will make you a regular visitor to their vibrant neighbourhood!
This place offers excellent food combined with an excellent service. For breakfast, the smoothies are their specialties and are worth it. The special attraction is the duration of 4-8 p.m. where you get reasonably priced drinks which is just awesome. For late nights also this place is a good option as the crowd is good and is the music. I love this place and try to come back as soon as possible
To begin with, the place is classy, enticing and has a beautiful decor. We had arranged a graduation party and turned out a great event. The staff was extremely helpful, prompt and upfront. We had many rounds of tequila shots and other cocktails. The drinks are made and served well. The place is not really pocket friendly but is not worthless either!
The decor of this place is very trendy and very hip. It manages to relax you with its beautiful decorations and assures you that you are going to have a great time. We ordered a variety of dishes here, including the baby back ribs and pinchos de pollo among others, which were all perfectly cooked, refreshing and full of delicate flavours. The cocktails delighted us equally well. Overall, the staff was also quite polite and efficient, the food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely going back here.
We went in early for there and had reserved the Caravan. It was nice, they had actually built a Caravan structure with a lounge bar inside, and right next to the dance floor. The place would be great fun to go to with a larger group of friends.
The cocktails are cheap but the food is not up to the mark. This place deserves 4 stars because the cocktails are just outstanding. I have had some great memories at this place. The ambience is quirky and fun. With over efficient staff, this place is a must visit! I can polish off more than half the plate.
I am not new to this chain of restaurants and from my good experience can happily recommend this place .They have been consistent in their service.In fact ,i would add that the staff is efficient,hospitable and attentive.I have always received good care from the waiting staff.You should visit this place,you won't be let down.
I visited this place recently for a birthday party, and had some of the best time ever. This place is absolutely perfect, whether it be about food, service, music or prices. This restaurant has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and gives a very nice vibe to patrons. I would definitely be visiting again, and recommend the same to others.
Reading the reviews we were a little unsure while heading to this place but the experience was quite the opposite. We were greeted by friendly staff as we entered. There was a queue to get in the bar but it was okay, bacauce the ambience was amazing and totally worth it.

This place offers one of the most amazing ambiance and cocktails I have ever experienced. It is responsible for a giving me an exceptional time! You will encounter a welcoming staff here who all happen to be quite amicable, quick, attentive and quite professional when it comes to resolving issues in the bar. The decor inside is delightful! The smoking area outside has been taken care of as well. Overall, a great experience, will definitely be revisiting!
Visit to this place was surely a night to remember. The food is delicious and the cocktails are also amazing. There is good selection of South American nibbles, which are very appetizing. The music is peppy and good. The ambiance also includes a lovely outside seating area with big parrot artwork, which is also very appealing. Overall, a good and enjoyable experience.
I have been to this bar quite a few times now and I must say it has always given me a pleasant time. The food served is absolutely delightful and the drinks are not far behind. The insides of this place are beautifully decorated, even the restrooms! The service is impeccable, quick and attentive. The only issue I have is the way they deal with people who might not be aware of the rules of the place. It was quite rude and they could have been much more pleasant. Other than that, this is one of my favourite places.
I had visited the north branch of this restaurant on a launch night, where the smell of the paint was still very nascent.
We were served with authentic food and cocktails that were really sharp and robust in taste.

This place has a whole lot of options housed on its menu making it tough to pick. One would normally pick eggs, bacon maybe and bread for brunch. However, there are full English breakfasts, burritos and many other items available. One can also sample a healthy fruit granola!

I really liked the dishes here because the chef here is very talented as well as experienced , She really knows what is she doing on with her dishes. The staff is pretty clean and decent. They will help you out with a smile on their face.

This is a new place which just opened in our locality and my partner asked to that we should go and check how is it.
It is a Latin-American joint which provides you with decent food and the portions are also good enough.

Dependable food. We ordered quinoa salad, Moors and Christians, ribs, aubergine quesadillas, mushroom tacos and pinchos of chicken. Tried to order ceviche but was disappointed that they didn't have it. The tacos, quesadillas and ribs were good without being extraordinary. The quinoa salad was great value, being a huge serving for £3.50. Was surprised that the chicken skewers were deep fried, but they were tender and came with a tasty pineapple chutney. The standout dish was the Moors and Christians, a simple side of rice with black beans. Exceptionally tasty as the rice had been cooked in a good stock.
I always have a good time in this place: a fun, light ambience, entertaining bar staff and lovely cocktails. I tend to go on a Friday evening and enjoy nibbles and their reggaeton/R&B music selection. I've even come here for my birthday and as a 'happy ageing' presant, got a free bottle of fizz for my next visit!
I've also been to other their branches, Barrio Central and Barrio North, but particularly like the one East as it is a large expanse over one floor, so it feels more of a unit, rather than lots of rooms all over the place. The cloakroom is free and toilets kept to a good standard.
It's a great place for lighthearted fun, hottie-spotting and even just enjoying some very reasonable cocktails; happy hour is 4-8pm, which can be washed down nicely with a humungous plate of Nachos. Yum!
In the middle of Shoreditch and already well-known in central London and north London, Barrio is a very good place to meet friends, drink cocktails and dance during the week, particularly Wednesday or Thursday !
You will find a beautiful and funny decoration, good snacks, amazing nachos and especially cheap cocktails during happy hours (only £4,50) !!

Absolutely a must visit venue. We came for the bottomless brunch and wasn't disappointed. The flow of the event was great. Drinks were never empty and were quite strong too. Lots of games to play to win cocktails and shots. The nibbles were delicious and super filling. Just the right balance of food and drink. The drag acts few fun and fabulous and very inclusive of audience participation which was fab! Can't wait to attend another event.

I used to go quite often there. It was ages that I haven’t been. Yesterday (Saturday) I stopped by to show to my cousin and have a quick drink in the afternoon. It was very entertaining. The place was with a lot of people even for a hot day. Super cool decor and great music. The bartenders were quick. I just think they should include non-alcoholic spirits on their menu. They have an outside area, and at night there is a dance space. So it can be a full day party.
Charlotte was amazing. Our Australian babe. She made sure we were satisfied and and ensured our tacos were done in time!

But it is very colorful and the rest room is wow.

Really fun bottomless brunch, with musical bingo which was a laugh. Food was good with options for vegetarians.
Drinks service slacked towards the last half hour with waitress who didn't seem to want to be there, taking table order and didn't return. After a long wait to re-order with another waiter we were told no more drinks would be served as it was the cut off for brunch.
Went here with my friend, sitting in the garden was delightful, it’s tucked away enough so that you don’t hear the traffic but enjoy the breeze. The service was super fast and helpful (Charlotte served us) :) Will definitely be coming again!!
