The Fish House Of Notting Hill

Stopped by the Fish house after we ate dinner today, to look at the menu to determine if we wanted to go back there for fish and chips the following night. We were greeted very warmly by a darling, young woman, name, Maria, who you could tell, was very proud of where she worked and the quality of food they offered. She went over the menu with us and showed us the dining area. To help us make up our mind, she gave us a taste of their famous fried Cod and I have to tell you that it was delicious… No heavy batter and no grease dripping from the fish. It was really just perfect They are very proud that their fish is fresh. It’s a very casual atmosphere, but the delicious food and the wonderfully attentive and helpful staff will make your experience there one you won’t soon forget.

Atmosphere is dire here haha but you may as well laugh about it when you are eating. They should have some music playing in the background or something. The food is incredible though - I would never choose to get fish and chips in London but this was actually banging as well as the frickles. Loved it all.

This is my first time in London and my friend and I were walking around Pembridge Rd and saw this cute Fish & Chips restaurant. I’ve been here 2 days and haven’t had fish and chips yet. This restaurant had amazing options and we chose the regular cod and chips. Delicious! I didn’t imagine the peas would be smashed, the fries were huge as well as the cod. It definitely filled us up. The waitress Laurene was really kind towards us and attentive. I would def recommend this place to my friends that come to visit.
