A MUST HAVE when in London! Honestly the BEST meal out we’ve had in a long time! - Situated round the back of Covent Garden, this little hidden away restaurant boasts a fabulous menu and attentive staff! This restaurant really is value for money; especially the side dishes they always come in such generous portion sizes!
I give this place five stars for atmosphere alone. We came in to try their London Cocktail week cocktail which was really good actually (they have two choices they've made and we tried both.) The bar is so cool and definitely decked out with a lot of fun NYC and Theater memorabilia. It feels like you're in a celeb fave hidden gem spot just steps from Broadway. Our service was a little lackluster, but we had a lot of fun sitting at a table by the piano and being serenaded by the talented Lee. He made our night a true gem! All in all this place is lovely and I would def come back here again when I get to visit in the future.
Excellent. Booked a table for 2 and confirmed my reservation.
The decoration is sublime, and the staff top notch. Our food was delicious! (meatballs and the salmon). The spinach was also very, very good.
Highly recommended!
A classic - wanted to visit for a long time since hearing about it on LBC from one of the presenters.
White table cloths, classic American fayre in the middle of theatre land. Well worth a visit and will return.
The team were really nice and although we were one of the last seatings of the day, there was no rush and the food was really good.
Worth visiting...
Oh the steak was delicious!! really enjoyed my meal there, staff super friendly! Thank you
Everything went brilliantly the staff all went out of there way to make us have a great time and made to feel special having the waiter sing happy birthday made my day.
I met with an old friend in this cozy spot near the play we were seeing later. The staff was right on top of everything and made sure we got our food in a timely manner. I had the Caesar salad with chicken and the banana cream pudding (just so-so) it was a satisfying meal for me. My friend got the steak- well done. Overall, good service, decent food and a warm atmosphere!
After a long overdue visit we had the most fantastic night in Joe Allen. The cocktails, the food, the service, the ambience were all perfect. It was the best meal we've had in London in a long time and we can't wait to return.
Came here on my birthday for dinner before a theatre show and the service and food was brilliant. Special thanks to Fabian who sang a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday as well as a decorated plate for my dessert :) thank you
